“I am so lucky to have found Marti. While I was away for a few days at Disney World, she provided the best boarding experience for my furbaby that I could ever dream of. My dog had individualized care, plenty of walks and social time with the neighborhood (he happens to also be a Very Good Boy). Her house was clean, quiet, inviting, safe, and has a nice backyard. “We flew in from Los Angeles thinking we would be able to have our pupp, Domino, with us at our resort/hotel in Orlando. We get in on Sunday, December 28th and find out we are not able to have pets. I know I know I should have checked and not left it on our grandma to check Lol. We kept him overnight and decided to look for a place for him to stay the following day. My pupp usually has separation anxiety and does not like to be in confined areas (or crates unless it is to go to sleep). We then begin to call boarding places, which I was not too happy about for him. Everything was booked! I then remembered about Rover.com. We gave them a try, message a couple of people, but my eye was set on Margarita! Margarita had great reviews/stars and people genuinely seem to have liked her services. Fortunately, she was the first one to message me back! I was worried she was not going to be able to take him since we needed to drop him off on Tuesday, December 30th. But she was available and very excited to sit for us! This woman keeps great communications from your first point of contact until the very last day/minute!! Margarita had a little welcome sign for Domino (Domi) outside of her door. When we showed up she was so warm and inviting...it made us feel right at home. As soon as she saw Domi she was super sweet to him and asked to hold him. After just a few minutes with Margarita he STOPPED shaking!! He did not cry for me (my heart broke slightly), which was sooo good for him. As she shared her doggy sitting experience with us, she just held him. She showed us where she keeps the pupps. She likes to keep the pupps separate because you never really know how they can feel on a random day. Her house smells great and is very clean!! The pupps are clearly comfortable in her home!!! When we left her home...we said bye to our baby and he still did not cry and was completely calm and at peace. Margarita let me know if I wanted to Facetime, Skype, Tango, or anything with Domi she was available. She sent me texts throughout the day and pics. One of my concerns was him not eating since he was in a new place. Margarita made sure to text me about him eating and drinking (and that he liked the little treats for his food [which were a little extra for him to keep him happy while away]). We kept in touch the rest of the week, which was very sweet of her to do (especially since I do not want to be a helicopter parent Lol). On the day we picked him up she had nothing, but nice things to say about him. If we are every again in Orlando, we will definitely have Margarita sit for us! Her phone number is saved on my phone! Surpassed my expectations! As we drove away from her place she sent me a couple of more pics of his outing that day, riding the famous red bike. I apologize for the long review to anyone who reads this...just want to be as detailed as possible to help you make an informed decision.”

“Isabel was sooo great with my (very high energy) 2 y/o Aussiedoodle, Roo. She spoiled her to bits and sent so many cute pics and updates. I also appreciated that Roo got one-on-one attention with Isabel and wasn’t just put in a back yard with a bunch of other dogs (which has definitely happened at other Rover stays). Roo is very sensitive so I always know how her stay went when I pick her up - sometimes she is extremely anxious and has diarrhea, and it takes a day or two for her to return to normal. With Isabel though, I was so relieved to see that she was her usual happy, bouncing self :) Isabel was so lovely, I can’t sing her praises enough and I’ll definitely be booking her again the next time I happen to be in Orlando!!”

About: I’ve had 11 dogs throughout my life, and I’ve been lucky enough to raise every one of them from just days or weeks old until they reached old age. I spoiled them endlessly, but I also made sure they were well-trained, social, and comfortable around other animals, dogs, babies, and people. Growing up, my family somehow became the family that animals could count on. I’ve lost count of how many animals we’ve rescued, fostered, nurtured, and helped find loving homes for. We’ve rescued everything from a bag of kittens my mom found in a dumpster at her job, to an abandoned iguana left at our house, to a one-eared dog who literally ran up to our car while we were stopped at a red light. I know it sounds like something out of a movie, but I promise it’s all true! 😂❤️ To me, dogs and pets aren’t simply animals—they’re part of us and part of our souls. They are family members who deserve patience, respect, love, attention, and proper care. They’re incredibly pure, innocent, intelligent, funny, and full of personality, and I genuinely love taking the time to understand what makes each animal special. 🐾❤️ I’m fortunate to be able to make my own hours and choose which days I work, which means I often have more days off than someone with a traditional schedule. If I have a pet-walking booking, I can easily adjust my work schedule around it by moving my workday to another day or starting earlier or later. This flexibility allows me to be reliable and available for pets while still maintaining my full-time career. I love that I can use my extra time to give pets the attention, exercise, fresh air, and companionship they deserve. I do travel occasionally, usually about once a month or every couple of months, but I always plan ahead and will let pet parents know in advance and block off any dates I’ll be out of town. I believe every pet and every breed is different, so I care for them based on their individual personality, needs, age, and health. When I had my English Bulldog, he preferred a slower, more laid-back lifestyle. Because of his build, exercise was important, but we kept our walks slow and comfortable, and he was usually very quick when it came to using the bathroom. I currently have a 9-month-old miniature Dachshund who is the complete opposite! He loves sniffing absolutely everything, so our walks tend to be much longer. I never rush him when he’s using the bathroom or exploring because I believe walks should be enjoyable, not something a dog has to hurry through. Because we live in Florida, I’m also very mindful of the heat and strong sun and bring an umbrella for extra shade when needed. He is definitely a very spoiled baby! 😂 He has beds and blankets throughout almost every room of the house, plenty of toys, and lots of space to safely roam and play. Because Dachshunds can be prone to spinal issues, I don’t let him use stairs and carry him up and down whenever needed. He gets monthly de-shedding and grooming, dental treats, coat oils, regular checkups, and of course, an unreasonable amount of hugs and cuddles. ❤️ Overall, I believe pets deserve individualized care, patience, comfort, enrichment, and lots of love. I try to care for every animal the same way I would want someone to care for my own spoiled baby.
About: I’ve been around dogs pretty much my whole life. I had my own dog from when I was about 8 years old until she passed away last year. I helped take care of her with my mom throughout her life so I’m very comfortable with dogs of all ages and especially older dogs. I’m also currently helping my mom with a 1-year-old Goldendoodle that she watches for a couple in her apartment complex. I’ve also dog-sat for friends over the years and have experience checking in on their pets while they’re away. I really love being around dogs and animals in general. I can work around your dog’s normal routine and I’m happy to figure out a time that works best for both of us. About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a kid, and now I have many years experience doing it professionally as well. Rover and pet sitting was my full time job for the last 2 years and I fell in love with it. Taking care of animals has become a passion for me and it’s something I do with my whole heart. As a pet owner myself I know how important our babies are to us and I provide to everyone’s pets the same level of care I give my own. About: I've had a fairly feisty Siamese cat for 5+ years, so I am familiar and comfortable cat sitting, but I also have dog walking experience here and there! I currently work at home, so my schedule is very flexible. I’m happy to work out what times work best for me and will communicate if there’s any scheduling conflicts! Thankfully my cat maintains good health, but has been sick a few times, so I have familiarity with situations like that (such as feeding medicine, brushing, etc.)
About: I am 30 years old living and working here in the Orlando area. I moved here 2 years ago after finding a new position that allowed me to be home every night. Prior to living here, I lived in Boston and was working as a flight attendant. I was born and raised in CT where I had a successful pet sitting business that I had to leave behind for my flying career. Now that I am no longer flying, I am looking to spend time with your furry family members again. I currently work full-time as an Inflight Instructor teaching people how to be flight attendants. My schedule allows for 10 days off a month, with shifts no longer than 8 hours at a time but typically 5-7 hours. Though I am unable to have pets in my own home, I will treat them like they are family when I am in your home. No pet is just a pet in my mind, they are truly a cornerstone of the family. I will ensure they get care just like you would give them. This is why I stand behind having one full-time client at a time.
