I have two dachshunds with separation anxiety that cannot be left alone. We contacted Mia for her services to stay with them so we were able to go out. About: I'm currently studying to become a Veterinary Assistant, which has taught me to pay close attention to pet safety, health, and behavior. I follow every owner's instructions carefully and make sure pets feel safe, loved and comfortable I've cared for my friend's dogs as if they were my own, Making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. My veterinary assistant program will be online for the next few months, so I have plenty of time during the week and weekends to walk, feed, and care for pets. Pet Care easily fits into my daily routine because working with animals is something I genuinely enjoy doing. Though starting in January, I'll be back on campus, but I'll still make time to care for pets around my schedule. When caring for pets I always make safety and comfort my top priorities. I follow each owners instructions carefully, keep a close eye on behavior and body language, and make sure pets feel calm and secure. I do my best to maintain a clean environment and use gentle handling at all times. My training as a vet assistant student also helps me stay alert for any signs of stress or discomfort.

She spent so much time with him — more than we even expected — and while she kept us updated, we never felt overwhelmed with info. Our little pup got all his energy out on some soft walks that kept his paw healing, and even kept up with his Stick of the Day ™ from our neighborhood park. We came back to Indiana even better than we left him and we can’t thank Kristina enough.”

About: I am an experienced dog owner for the past 24 years. It all started with my girl Coco who passed from cancer and it was the hardest thing to do but made me realize how much I need dogs in my life. I saw my girl from puppy hood to senior hood, experienced all stages ranging from puppy destruction to diminished mobility, and loved and nurtured her through every stage. My girl was my world and taught me a lot about compassion, patience and unending love. She taught my children the importance of love, compassion and respect for animals. Also, since my girl was of a breed of tons of unfair discrimination, I learned that no dog should be discriminated against based on breed. Caring for your pet in my home would be a family affair. I have a small screened lenai with a beautiful view of the lake but I personally like to keep pets inside during the hot and humid days where they can stay cool in my air conditioned home. With me owning two dogs of my own and having 3 young adult kids there is plenty of social interaction. However, I do understand that there are pets who prefer quiet and that can be accommodated as well. If a senior pet needs their own space he or she can hang with my oldest child who is very laid back and loves to cuddle or with me as I usually spend my time alone in my bedroom. During a typical day your child (pet) will have undivided attention, cuddles, praise, food and water necessary to maintain a happy and healthy attitude. I believe pets are just as innocent as human infants and therefore should be treated as nothing but that. This is no different to me than babysitting a human child. We look forward to meeting you and your pet. I am currently working a part time job but will be more than happy to make accommodations to care for your baby. My weekends are fully open and I have several animal lovers in my home to always have constant social interaction. I have a screened lenai with view of the lake. Living with 4 other people allows for constant supervision. I do realize their are some pets that prefer quiet environments which can also be provided.

“We hit the Jackpot when we found Andrew on Rover !! My boys loved him from the moment he walked through the door. He took such wonderful care of them, sending photos, videos and updates throughout our trip.. This allowed us to enjoy our vacation and not worry about our dudes while we were gone. Both boys are older and do not like to be alone, one is almost deaf, but he was so patient with them, and stayed 24/7 . He followed all the dog sitting instruction flawlessly (and there were many). We felt he cared for them as if they were his own. If you are looking for a trustworthy, reliable and caring pet sitter- look no further! As time drew near, we received a sad phone call that we had a family emergency with my Mom that entailed a 10-hour drive. From the house-sitting perspective, she even watered our plants! When we returned home, the dogs were great! The house and yard looked as if we had never left! Megan was impeccable! She even emailed us notes of her activity while we were away, for our information. We have been on Rover for 5-plus years. Megan is by far the best Rover that we have found for house-sitting, including pet care! She has phenomenal credentials and reviews from the zoo world. About: Since the age of 5 I have loved our furry friends, the joy we get when they see us after a long day at work never gets old. I currently work from home with a lot of time on my hands. Along with my wife we both do work from home. We wake up 8:30 I go downstairs walk the fur babies & feed them then get ready for work. Then we get our 30 min break time and we use it to let the pets go outside. All pets must be friendly they have their own happy and protected space inside the house with great camera super vision. Our fur babies get treated like king and queens.

About: Tristan is a Kissimmee local with experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, experiences and personalities. He does not currently reside with a dog in the home, so your four-legged pal is welcome anytime. I work full time Monday-Friday, 9-5, so I am available on the weekends and in the evenings. If boarding or sitting for several days, your dog may be alone for a standard work day. I do have one roommate who is a fellow dog-lover and Rover sitter (with an opposite schedule) who is happy to assist while I am away. I live on the second floor of a condominium with a small staircase. There is no gated or fenced-in yard, but plenty of grassy areas to take care of business and get some exercise. There is a handful of dogs in the community, but all are leashed by their owners.

I have a wide range of experience with pets with medical needs, high maintenance for grooming, and temperamental behaviors. I currently have a Great Dane/ Coonhound senior, so I am familiar with giant breeds. I am very flexible and can adjust to your schedule. If you need special care for your pet, I am willing to work around what you need. For my Great Dane/Coonhound senior, he takes 5 supplements a day to keep him healthy. He walks about 3 miles a day to ensure he has enough time outside and gets good exercise. Given his size, I have a printed and laminated list of bloat symptoms inside his treat cabinet. If any of these symptoms arise we immediately reach out to the vet.
