I have been in the professional animal care field for 20 years. I’ve worked with nearly every type of animal from large carnivores to little birds. I balance the ‘hard science’ of animal wellbeing with the ‘soft science’ of providing compassionate care and warmth. Because of my well-rounded experience I treat each request with the specialized care it requires.

What you can expect from me; we will set up a time for me to meet you and your pet/s. I will ask a series of questions about your pets routine, training, diet, etcetera to be sure their day without you goes smoothly. During the sit I will send updates depending on the frequency you want them (usually 2-3x/day). During my time in your home I will not eat any of your food, access any unauthorized/unnecessary rooms, and I will clean any messes that I or your pets might make. At the end (if it’s a sit over several hours or several days) I will email a little report which is basically a journal of my time with them highlighting behaviors, food consumed, training and activities, etc.

WOW! Is all I can say. Megan is so thorough! She stayed in our home to take care of my two cats. I had peace of mind my entire vacation. I did not have to worry about my cats or my home. She went above and beyond and I would highly recommend her.
Megan is the most thorough sitter we've ever had. She was extremely attentive to detail, and went above and beyond in taking care of our puppy. She even cleaned out all his toys, and left everything spotless. Plus - she's an awesome human. We can't wait to book her again!

This was our 2nd time using Megan for house and dog sitting for our two large dogs. She continues to exceed our expectations in every way! We feel so comfortable knowing that she is there! We get text updates with pictures twice a day. She asks questions to understand the dogs and how they like to be pet and played with! When we return home, the house is immaculate as if she was never there. We highly recommend Megan for your house and pet sitting needs. Megan, thank you for the excellent care that you provided!
This was our fourth sit with Megan. My two dogs love having her over. She does an incredible job of taking care of them. She gives them plenty of play time, changes their water often, works with them on the items I told her I am trying to teach them, and the nicest thing is that she documents her time with them, so it is easy to see how they are improving. One of my dogs was a covid dog and so was not socialized when she was young and the other is a rescue that is very new to our home and has separation anxiety. The attention she gives them and the work she does with them is priceless.
Megan was nothing short of incredible in her care of Charlie and Sandy, and our home, for 4 nights! We had never used Megan before, but I loved her wealth of experience in the zoo world and her tremendous reviews from those who had worked with her! Our request with Megan originated as a family get-together with our boys and their families just 2 hours away for 3 nights. As time drew near, we received a sad phone call that we had a family emergency with my Mom that entailed a 10-hour drive. We contacted Megan to explain the situation and were so elated to learn that she understood our situation and was willing and able to assist us in adding an additional night! We met Megan for a Meet & Greet and were extremely impressed! She was determined to understand what was necessary to successfully care for Charlie and Sandy, and our home, while we were away. Megan took detailed notes to assist her and emailed them to us, for our information. While we were away, Megan checked in several times/day with an update and pictures of the dogs. She followed our requests precisely. She walked them, brushed them, played with them, scooped after them in our yard and on walks, and much more. From the house-sitting perspective, she even watered our plants! When we returned home, the dogs were great! The house and yard looked as if we had never left! Megan was impeccable! She even emailed us notes of her activity while we were away, for our information. We have been on Rover for 5-plus years. Megan is by far the best Rover that we have found for house-sitting, including pet care! She has phenomenal credentials and reviews from the zoo world. She understands pets and is extremely conscientious, as well as personable! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND Megan T !!!
