“Alexis is fantastic. We have booked with her before to watch our pup and we always feel at ease. She respects and follows rules and instructions for our puppy down to the detail. Our puppy had a great day with her and was in good hands! Will be booking again!”

“Caroline did an amazing job caring for Beau. This was the first time that I had a sitter from Rover stay in my home. Caroline gave me a 100% comfort level. She kept me informed during the time I was travelling and sent photos. I would absolutely recommend Caroline to care for your fur babies. Thank you Caroline for the attention and care that you gave Beau!”

About: Hi! My name is Emily, and I’m home for the summer before my final year of college. I have 5+ years of pet sitting and babysitting experience and am known for being reliable, trustworthy, and responsible. I am CPR certified and have experience as a medical assistant, which has taught me to be attentive, organized, and dependable. As a pet owner myself, I know pets are family. My animals are my fur babies, and I will care for yours with the same love and attention. I enjoy staying active, going on walks, playing with pets, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. I’m also clean, respectful, and committed to caring for your home and pets as if they were my own. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐾💕 I’m home from college with a very flexible schedule and full availability throughout the week. I can easily adjust to mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends as needed. I care for pets in clients’ homes where they’re most comfortable. I’m experienced with pets, active for walks and play, and always respectful of your home and your pet’s routine.

About: With over 4 years of professional dog handling/training experience, I aim to keep your furry friend safe and happy! Before we get to my experience, I just want to mention that I am wheelchair bound, so I prefer to stick to walking smaller dogs unless they are well-mannered on a leash! The size of animal is not a concern if a walk is not a requirement! For drop ins, it would require a mostly accessible entrance into the home. I can do a single small step, but otherwise zero-entry would be the most ideal! I have worked alongside a dog trainer who also offers boarding services for the past 4 years, I have volunteered for many animal shelters, including Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for 2 years, I have been training my own dogs for the past 14 years, including training my current service dog, and I have previously shadowed veterinarians in a clinic environment. I absolutely love both dogs and cats, and I can assure you that they will be in great hands! I truly can’t wait to get in touch with you and meet your fur baby!! I currently work a part-time job, but often get scheduled full-time hours. I usually work between the hours of 8 and 6:30, so I can do night checks on my work days. My guaranteed days off are Monday and Tuesday, and I could complete as many drop ins as needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy! I want to make sure that your baby stays comfortable, especially with a stranger coming into the home. I am very well versed on animal behaviour and body language, so I will never rush or force an interaction. I plan to follow the same schedule that you would as an owner, so that their schedule remains the same, even without a family member present. I will also make sure that the pet parents are staying updated with photos and messages throughout the day to maintain trust and communication!
“Julian did an excellent job taking care of my cat Simon. He followed all my instructions exactly like I wanted. He fed Simon at the appropriate schedule, cleaned his litter box, and made sure his water bowl was clean and filled. He also took the time to play with him and pet him so he wouldn’t feel lonely. I would hire Julian to take care of my cat again in a heartbeat.”

“Stephanie provides frequent updates while dog sitting. She sends pictures and sweet messages. Our dogs love spending time with her because she takes such great care to ensure they get long walks and plenty of snuggles!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, and my own dog is a beloved member of the family who is definitely spoiled with love and attention. Caring for him has given me experience with daily walks, playtime, feeding, and understanding a dog’s individual needs and personality. I have experience around dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, and I would care for your dog with the same level of attention, patience, and affection that I give my own. I’am a full-time student but I only have classes 2 days a week only till 12pm so I have plenty of time in my schedule to care for your pets! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I carefully follow all care instructions provided by the owner, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, and any special requirements. I make sure pets have plenty of attention, enrichment, and supervision while maintaining their normal routine as much as possible. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I strive to create a safe, stress-free environment where they feel comfortable, secure, and loved.

“Wilmarie was great. She came very last minute and stayed 3 nights with my dogs because the previous dog sitter went MIA. She sent plenty of pictures and was super responsive. Would definitely love to have her watch my dogs again!”

About: Reliable and outgoing, I love animals of all sizes and shapes. From volunteering at shelters, to helping friends walk their dogs or caring for cats. I currently have a full time job, although I am available during the week days after 6pm and all weekend to play and care for your loved pets! I follow instructions very well and am detailed oriented. I like to send picture updates for extended care, or even after a one time daily walk! I’d like to make the most comfortable, easy and fun experience for owners and their pets.

About: Serving Lake Nona / East Orlando area / Downtown Orlando / Winter park / St. Cloud / Kissimmee Hello Dog/Cat Parents! My name is Elisa, and I’m a pre-vet biology student with a lifelong passion for animals and their care. Ever since I was younger, I’ve loved spending time with animals and began pet sitting and walking dogs for neighbors, which gave me experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Over the years, caring for animals has become more than just a hobby for me, it’s something I truly love and hope to turn into my lifelong career. I also come from an equestrian background, where I learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding animal behavior. Working around horses taught me how important trust and gentle care are, and I carry that same mindset into every pet I care for. A little bit about me, I have my own dog named Wrangler! He’s a very active, high-energy dog, so I’m very comfortable with energetic personalities, long walks, enrichment, and keeping dogs engaged both physically and mentally. We go on 3-mile walks and hikes daily, so whether your dog loves being active or prefers a slower, calmer pace, I’m happy to adjust to what makes them most comfortable. I also understand reactive dogs, as my own dog has had reactivity challenges in the past, so I always approach pets with patience, awareness, and compassion. As a future equine veterinarian, animal health and safety are extremely important to me. I’m comfortable administering medications and making sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is always to make your pet feel loved and at home, while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring and reliable hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets P.S: Expect TONS of fun photos! My Pet Care Schedule * I’m available most early mornings early-late afternoons, which works well for walks, drop-ins, and playtime. * I am not available on Sundays or Tuesdays due to religious commitments. * I avoid scheduling walks between 11 AM–12 PM, especially in hot weather, to keep dogs safe from peak heat. * I’m flexible outside of those times and happy to work with each pet’s routine and needs. For example : 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, play, mental enrichment and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy + and comfortable while you're away. How I Care for Pets During House Drop-Ins & Dog Walking * I treat your home with respect, keeping everything clean, organized, and just as you left it, while making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar space. * I follow your pet’s normal routine. walks, meals, potty breaks, and rest so they feel secure and relaxed while you’re away. * I love incorporating enrichment into my visits, so I often bring a sniff mat and tailor activities to what your dog enjoys most. I pay attention to their personality and preferences so each visit feels engaging and meaningful for them. * I make an effort to really get to know your dog what they like, what motivates them, and what helps them feel happiest so I can adjust my care to fit them, not just a routine. * Treats and rewards are always personalized based on what your dog enjoys (because every good pup has opinions, and I respect them). * I focus on safe, structured walks that match your dog’s energy level, whether they prefer a calm sniff and stroll or a more active outing. * My goal is to make each visit feel positive, enriching, and comforting for your pet, while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re genuinely cared for.

About: I had a large sized dog for most of my life and grew up with her from the age of a puppy until she passed away my freshman year of high school to old age. She was a pit/lab mix and I loved running with her, cuddling when she was tired, and even allowing her to "play" with me while I do yoga. I have so much love for animals, as I believe they are true reciprocates of unconditional love. I would love to spend time with your animals while you need them cared for. I am an opera singer and voice teacher. Finally, I guess a special skill would be I love relaxation techniques such as yoga, music, sound healing etc, and animals are so attuned to these activities that I could even provide a healing experience for your pet :) Currently available any time. I work from home and have flexibility in my job so very available to tend to pets! I have cared for many more pets than I have reviews you can see some of the doggos in my photos :) I am extremely compassionate and really like to provide that space for an animal to feel safe and welcome in my company. I like to build a relationship with animals and eventually find a language of communication where we seem to “get” each other.

“Trinity was absolutely fantastic with my 2 dogs. I have a Belgian malinois and a Staffordshire, 11 and 5 respectively, and both felt very comfortable around trinity. In the past my dogs would have nervous stomach problems with other sitters, but trinity made them feel loved and comfortable, and when we came back from our trip they were happy and loved. Trinity kept us in the loop the entire trip and respected our home and dogs like her own. Will definitely be hiring trinity again in the future.”

“Marylynn was an amazing sitter! Our animals absolutely loved her and she was so attentive! We received lots of pictures of our fur babies while we were gone and they looked so happy! She will be our go-to sitter for any of our upcoming trips! I couldn’t have asked for better care 🩷”

“Christina was absolutely amazing with my boys. Very caring and considerate. Thank you for taking such good care of them. I'm so glad to have found such a trusting sitter for my dogs.”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Wewahotee walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Wewahotee maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Wewahotee choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wewahotee. On Rover:
- 90% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
