“Brooke did an amazing job taking care of our cat Nala for over a week while we were gone. She administered oral medications, cleaned Nala's litter box, hung out with her to give her company, prepared wet food, and even cleaned up toss ups from the carpet. She provided pictures and a summary for each visit. Nala can be an anxious cat, so we really appreciate Brooke having the patience to make the experience as low stress as possible.”

“Tanisha was wonderful. Arrived on time, spent great time with our dog and followed instructions as we asked. Our dog was happy and was well taken care of. Thank you Tanisha!”

“Gisselle was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to clean the litter boxes and give suggestions to help my cats. I became disabled and Gisselle was a life saver because I knew I couldn’t fully clean the litter box out.”

“Definitely would use Mia again. We used her twice in a week to watch our dog while we went to a theme park, and she was wonderful. She took good care of our dog, sent us pictures of his time with her. Thank you Mia!!”

Additionally, Zaida was attentive during her visits, keeping an eye out for changes in symptoms and ensuring our cats got their much needed play time. She provided us detailed updates and photos of each visit. Thank you, Zaida!!”

About: In my family there are many pets and taking care of them is something I always enjoy doing:) My favorite part of sitting pets is the walks because I love to catch the fresh air with them. I’m currently home full time taking classes alone so I’ll be more than happy to give my full attention to your babies 💕 I go on walks also to give me and us some exercise I have a senior chihuahua and is shy around new animal but taking him on walks with other pets cracks him from his shell ..
“We had such a piece of mind knowing that Sylvia was caring for our pup. She was very kind to us and sent pictures of our dog, and you can tell she really cared about animals! Thank you!”

About: I grew up my entire life with dogs in the house, and often dog sat or would walk my neighbors' dogs as a teenager! As an adult, I worked at an interactive doggy daycare for a year where I was in charge of monitoring, grouping, grooming, and training all breeds, sizes, and ages! I have also been trained and am used to breaking up dog fights if necessary! My senior cat sadly just passed away, but I had him for a long time and he is my pride and joy. I am therefore familiar with caring for cats, as well as distributing medication/food. I also love and have experience with reptiles, I currently have three snakes. I'm currently employed part time although my schedule varies week to week! I spend most of my time at work if I am not working! I have a yard with a quiet calm home. I also love building confidence with animals in new environments, and adapting to their routine in their home.
About: I have been in the professional animal care field for 20 years. I’ve worked with nearly every type of animal from large carnivores to little birds. I balance the ‘hard science’ of animal wellbeing with the ‘soft science’ of providing compassionate care and warmth. Because of my well-rounded experience I treat each request with the specialized care it requires. I am currently a physics student at UCF. Pet sitting is my full time job; this allows me the flexibility to accommodate a broad range of your pet care needs. What you can expect from me; we will set up a time for me to meet you and your pet/s. I will ask a series of questions about your pets routine, training, diet, etcetera to be sure their day without you goes smoothly. During the sit I will send updates depending on the frequency you want them (usually 2-3x/day). During my time in your home I will not eat any of your food, access any unauthorized/unnecessary rooms, and I will clean any messes that I or your pets might make. At the end (if it’s a sit over several hours or several days) I will email a little report which is basically a journal of my time with them highlighting behaviors, food consumed, training and activities, etc.
“Braidery was simply the best. Our schedules in the morning times aligned with each other so it was almost like she didn’t need to be there, but she came and stayed and all the other times, she took such good care of our Moose. He was so comfortable with her from the very first moment they met, which gave me a sense of relief. Braidery is kind, humorous and I could not recommend her any quicker!! Thank you for all you do, Braidery!”

This is our second time having Tanisha watch our two cats. Tanisha was attentive and communicative while doing drop in visits with them. She administered medicine for one of them and played with them which we are so appreciative for, as they can be needy. Thank you, Tanisha!! 😌

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
