About: Serving Lake Nona / East Orlando area / Downtown Orlando / Winter park / St. Cloud / Kissimmee Hello Pet Parents! My name is Elisa, and I’m a pre-vet biology student with a lifelong passion for animals and their care. Ever since I was younger, I’ve loved spending time with animals and began pet sitting and walking dogs for neighbors, which gave me experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. Over the years, caring for animals has become more than just a hobby for me, it’s something I truly love and hope to turn into my lifelong career. I also come from an equestrian background, where I learned the importance of patience, responsibility, and understanding animal behavior. Working around horses taught me how important trust and gentle care are, and I carry that same mindset into every pet I care for. A little bit about me, I have my own dog named Wrangler! He’s a very active, high-energy dog, so I’m very comfortable with energetic personalities, long walks, enrichment, and keeping dogs engaged both physically and mentally. We go on 3-mile walks and hikes daily, so whether your dog loves being active or prefers a slower, calmer pace, I’m happy to adjust to what makes them most comfortable. I also understand reactive dogs, as my own dog has had reactivity challenges in the past, so I always approach pets with patience, awareness, and compassion. I also have 2 birds that I’ve had since I was just 9 years old! Having two birds of my own has given me hands-on experience caring for pets with different personalities, needs, and boundaries. I understand that some birds can be bitey, nervous, or uncomfortable around new people, and I know how important it is to respect their space and build trust rather than forcing interaction. For shy or less social birds, I am comfortable stopping by to provide fresh food and water, clean their area, offer enrichment, and make sure they are safe and comfortable while respecting their boundaries. As a future equine veterinarian, animal health and safety are extremely important to me. I’m comfortable administering medications and making sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is always to make your pet feel loved and at home, while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re in caring and reliable hands. I can’t wait to meet you and your pets P.S: Expect TONS of fun photos! My Pet Care Schedule * I’m available most early mornings early-late afternoons, which works well for walks, drop-ins, and playtime. *I work part-time too! So make sure to consult with me so we can work around my schedule. I am free early mornings and late afternoons during those days. * I avoid scheduling walks between 11 AM– 3PM, especially in hot weather, to keep dogs safe from peak heat. * I’m flexible outside of those times and happy to work with each pet’s routine and needs. For example : 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, play, mental enrichment and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy + and comfortable while you're away. How I Care for Pets During House Drop-Ins & Dog Walking * I treat your home with respect, keeping everything clean, organized, and just as you left it, while making sure your pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar space. * I follow your pet’s normal routine. walks, meals, potty breaks, and rest so they feel secure and relaxed while you’re away. * I love incorporating enrichment into my visits, so I often bring a sniff mat and tailor activities to what your dog enjoys most. I pay attention to their personality and preferences so each visit feels engaging and meaningful for them. * I make an effort to really get to know your dog what they like, what motivates them, and what helps them feel happiest so I can adjust my care to fit them, not just a routine. * Treats and rewards are always personalized based on what your dog enjoys (because every good pup has opinions, and I respect them). * I focus on safe, structured walks that match your dog’s energy level, whether they prefer a calm sniff and stroll or a more active outing. * My goal is to make each visit feel positive, enriching, and comforting for your pet, while giving you peace of mind knowing they’re genuinely cared for.
“I cannot say enough amazing things about Brooke! She was perfect from start to finish. It was our first time leaving Jett in the care of anyone other than family, and Jett loved her from the beginning just as we did. We will definitely use her again if we are in the area traveling.”

“Gisselle was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to clean the litter boxes and give suggestions to help my cats. I became disabled and Gisselle was a life saver because I knew I couldn’t fully clean the litter box out.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a kid, and now I have many years experience doing it professionally as well. Rover and pet sitting was my full time job for the last 2 years and I fell in love with it. Taking care of animals has become a passion for me and it’s something I do with my whole heart. As a pet owner myself I know how important our babies are to us and I provide to everyone’s pets the same level of care I give my own. I have experience with all different types of animals: all types of furry friends, also including rodents, reptiles, and birds. I have experience with caring for elder and senior and special needs dogs and cats , and I am comfortable administering both oral and injection medications. I am available upon request, I have a flexible schedule and can fit all types and lengths of walks, house stays and more. I am focusing on pet sitting full time. I have a fenced in backyard, with lots of play space! I am very experienced with all types of dogs for walks, and have had my fair share of strong pullers or escape artists! I am always on the lookout for any possible safety situations, including dog proofing any areas- I’m good at spotting all the ways dogs could get into things that aren’t safe or chew up personal belongings.

“We had such a piece of mind knowing that Sylvia was caring for our pup. She was very kind to us and sent pictures of our dog, and you can tell she really cared about animals! Thank you!”

“She is amazing with my cats. Very patient, loving, understanding, and playful. I will definitely book her in the future. She has kept me up to date every step that she takes. I feel completely at ease being away from my cats with Emily taking care of them.”

About: What sets me apart is my calm, patient nature and genuine love for animals. I’ve grown up caring for dogs and cats of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments, from playful puppies to slow, moving seniors. I know how to read animal body language and respond in a way that keeps pets feeling safe and secure. As a Diagnostic Medical Sonography student, I’m detail oriented and show dependable qualities that carry over into how I care for pets. Whether it’s giving medication, following feeding routines, or offering extra snuggles, I’m committed to making sure each pet feels comfortable and loved while their owner is away. I’m also great at communicating, so pet parents always know how their furry friend is doing with photo updates and messages. As a full-time Diagnostic Medical Sonography student, my weekdays are fully focused on school. However, I have Fridays available after 2 PM and am fully available on Saturdays and Sundays. That means I can dedicate my weekends to providing attentive, loving pet care, whether that’s dog walking, drop-in visits, or overnight sitting. Since I’m not juggling work during the week, I treat pet care as my weekend job and always show up with energy and focus. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always respect their space and follow any instructions closely. I make sure pets stay on their usual schedule for meals, walks, and playtime to reduce stress and keep them comfortable. I take safety seriously, doors stay locked, leashes are checked for security, and I never leave a pet unsupervised outdoors. I also believe trust is earned. I give regular updates (photos, messages) so pet parents know their fur baby is happy and safe. I treat every home and animal like my own, with care, responsibility, and love.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Buena Ventura Lakes
We had a wonderful experience with Melissa and highly recommend her! She was incredibly kind, attentive, and truly went above and beyond while caring for our pets, Bella (our dog) and Kodi (our cat). Melissa remembered every detail and instruction we provided about their care, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. After each visit, she sent us photos and kept us updated on when she arrived and when she left, which we really appreciated. She even went the extra mile by providing very detailed updates about each of her visits, and asking thoughtful questions, like whether we wanted lights left on for the pets while we were gone. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about animals and takes her responsibilities seriously. Having someone come into your home to care for your pets requires a lot of trust, and we felt completely comfortable and confident with Melissa. We are so grateful for the care she gave Bella and Kodi and would absolutely book with her again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
