About: I ran a local pet sitting business for six years until moving to UCF where I am pursuing a business degree to eventually run my own equestrian business. I have grown up caring for lots of my own animals as well as working as others pets. I have experience with horses, dogs, and cats and basic obedience training. This summer I will be working four days a week in Tampa and will be in Orlando Fridays-Sundays with an open schedule. I would love to fill my time with pet sitting and want to make money to help take care of my senior horse. I always do everything I can to make the animals I’m caring for feel safe and comfortable. I think it’s important to always be patient with animals and give them love.
“Colleen has already been amazing with our pup! Our last dog walker moved away and we were worried about finding someone just as great. Then came Colleen. Responsive, communicative, and dependable!”

“Michelle was great with our pups. She gave them lots of attention and made sure they got fed and taken out. She kept us up to date on what was happening and sent us cute pictures.”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of our lives. Together, my partner Beny and I have owned and cared for both dogs and cats for as long as we can remember. Seven years ago, I adopted my own little furry family, and today we share our home with our own crew of wonderful cats ranging in age from one to twelve. Over the years, we’ve become the go-to pair for friends and family who need someone they can trust to care for their pets, whether that’s daily walks, weekend stays, or simply giving their animals love and attention when they can’t be there. We’ve cared for pets of all ages, from 1-week-old kittens and puppies to senior cats and dogs as old as 17. We’re comfortable administering medications (both pills and liquids), following special routines, and working with pets of all temperaments. Every animal is unique, and our goal is to make sure each one feels safe, happy, and loved, just like they would at home. Whether you have a playful puppy, an affectionate cat, or a senior companion, we’d love the chance to get to know them and provide the attentive, reliable care they deserve. I work as an interior designer just minutes from our house, and Beny is a student with a flexible schedule. I’m home every day during my lunch break, and Beny is home most of the time, which means your pet will rarely be left alone. Together, we make sure every animal in our care gets plenty of attention, companionship, and supervision throughout the day. We prioritize every pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness. From walks and playtime to crating when needed, we follow your instructions closely and maintain a secure, loving environment. Whether it’s exercise, affection, or calm companionship, we’ll make sure your pet feels relaxed, cared for, and right at home while you’re away.

About: I started raising a dog when I was 15, a Bichon Frise. Now I have two cats, one is 7 years old and the other is 5. Both cats have been raised since they were kittens. I have plenty of time to take care of pet. My son goes to summer school from 9:30-4:30,so I’m available between these time. I have a big fenced yard and multiple cat trees. I vacuum daily and keep plastic items away from them. I also cover the second floor railing in case cats jump.

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for my own pets and helping family members with theirs. This includes feeding, walks, playtime, cleaning up, and following daily routines. I’m attentive, patient, and treat every pet with the same care and responsibility I give my own. I currently have a very flexible and open schedule, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for pets. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop-ins, pet sitting, and extended care. I’m able to work around each pet’s normal routine and can accommodate morning, afternoon, and evening care as needed. I love spending time with animals and enjoy being able to give each pet plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away. I take pet safety and trust very seriously when caring for animals in a client’s home. I will follow all care instructions closely, respect household rules, and keep pets in familiar, comfortable environments. I prioritize clean spaces, secure doors, and calm, attentive care to help pets feel safe while their owners are away.
About: My name is Valentina and I am a Physician Assistant Student here in Orlando! I am constantly surrounded by pets since I have a bunch of friends that own them and I occasionally pet sit for them when they are away on trips. My services include dog walking and drop in visits! My schedule varies, as I am on rotations for school, but am able to be flexible when I can. I understand that pets are very important to the owners so I will take care of them and treat them with love! I have my own mode of transportation so that will not be an issue in case of an emergency. I am currently on rotations, so my schedule changes every 6 weeks. I am flexible to changes in time as long as the clinic/hospital time allows! We can chat as to what that looks like, but I can be adaptive! I have had a dog in the past, she was my family’s baby! Other than that, I am constantly surrounded by pets, as all of my friends have either dogs or cats! I often dog and cat sit for them.
“There is no better sitter than Carolina. Firstly she is one of the kindest people I have ever met. I met her daughter who was equally as sweet! She took amazing care of my kitty, sent lots of pictures and kept me worry-free on my trip. I also came home to a holiday toy for both my dog and cat! As hard as it is to leave your pets for a trip, it felt a lot better knowing they were in such great care. A+ experience with Carolina!!”
“Priscila was great with Bruno while I was out of town! I got pictures and she spent time with him outside. Thank you so much for watching him, I will definitely reach out again for future services for Bruno!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Chuluota
Elizabeth was wonderful with our animals while we took a Christmas vacation... she went above and beyond to put my mind at ease and to be sure our fur babies were happy and got lots of love and pets... she provided me with plenty of messages and pictures... then when the snow storm hit and our flights were canceled she was amazing in being able to add another day... I'm going to plan another couple days away soon cause I now know I can do that without worrying about the dogs...

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Chuluota. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
