About: I understand your pets are your babies and they need to be treated as such! I’m ready to do any task so matter how small or silly it may seem with my full heart and I can’t wait to meet everyone’s fur babies!! I also have extensive training and research in animal behavior and how to react to it and occasionally work at a doggy daycare. And I have grown up around animals and know how to handle reptiles, birds, rabbits, and other common pets. Pets are always welcome in my weekly routine! I’m a university student and I have classes 2 days during the week so I have plenty of time to take care of your babies! I also take care of the pets of my family and friends whenever they’re away and have boarded and does a home stay! I would approach the pet calmly using a calm voice and positive reinforcement to provide a loving relationship with them. I would also do everything I could to make them more comfortable, whether it be doing something silly that’s in their daily routine or give them extra special attention. I will always try my best to help them feel safe and taken care of!
“Caroline was wonderful! Our kitty doesn’t warm up to everyone but Caroline must be a cat whisperer because he loved her! She was excellent with the check ins, following all our instructions, and sending great pics and videos! Highly recommend her services.”

About: I have been a life-long pet owner. I love hanging out with animals, getting to know their nature and offering them fun playtime and comfort. I am in freelance, so I make my own daily and weekly schedule most of the time. I am able to work around my other jobs to meet your pets when you need. After a calm greeting, I can easily follow any routine needed, whether that is taking a walk, playing with toys, or simply checking in on them. I always want to make sure they are receiving the care they need.

“We cannot say enough good things about Kayla! She took care of our cats, Taxi and Boba, while we were out of town, and she was absolutely amazing. We were particularly anxious about leaving because one of our cats is currently sick and undergoing chemo treatment. Kayla handled the situation with so much compassion, thoughtfulness, and attention to detail. She cared for them exactly as if they were her own, and it gave us such peace of mind knowing they were in such capable hands. If you are looking for someone who is reliable, communicative, and truly cares about animals, look no further than Kayla. We love her and will definitely be booking her again!”

“Ashley always does such a great job with my girls!! She truly cares about each of their unique needs and communicates so well! We feel very lucky to have found Ashley!”

“Shirel is super dependable and great with my boys! She communicates any changes and is great at following up with anything needed! I receive daily reports and photos of my boys and that eases my mind knowing they were taken care of. Highly recommend her :)”

About: My experience with pet sitting includes two lovely Labrador, one clingy Golden Retriever, one energetic Pit-bull mix and one sleepy frenchie. Each one thought me how unique each pet can be and showed how much their owners loved each and every pet. Regarding experience with specific services I did give oral medication to the frenchie and carpooling the two Labradors. So if your pet needs any specific assistance or services please let me know and I will try to accommodate as best as possible. Since I am College Student, my availability is limited to Friday to Sunday. My services will be House sitting with your pet, dog walks, and even playtime if needed. I am open to pet specific requests and will try to accommodate as best as possible. Regarding potential weekday availability please reach out personally to me and I will try to accommodate as best as possible. Unfortunately due to my apartment’s no pet policy I can not pet sit from my own home. I do not mind having to travel to full-fill client needs as I do have a vehicle. If your pet has any unique needs I will be happy to meet them. I will try to keep your pet from and potentially precarious situations and care for them as they were my own.

Jennifer was absolutely wonderful with Toby and Francesca. My cats can both be shy, but they warmed up to her so quickly. I came home to two very content, happy cats, which says everything! Knowing they were loved and cared for while I was away gave me such peace of mind. I’m so very grateful to Jennifer and would absolutely have her care for them again. 🤍🐾

Alexei is a great pet sitter. She cared for my Beanie girl while I was out of town and she did a great job. My kitty was so happy to see her every day. Alexei was flexible, attentive, and most of all very responsive. Answered any of my questions and followed Beans routine very carefully. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible pet sitter.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
