“I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Marie, she has an amazing yard and a super dog friendly house, and her dog Napo is just the sweetest. My dog is the nervous and reserved type, but by the second day of her stay she was zooming around the yard and actually enjoying herself. Marie sent lots of pictures and updates and responded to questions quickly, and she was flexible in figuring out a pick up time that worked with both of our schedules. When I dropped my boy off to her he was feeling a bit unwell which lead to a sad series of events while I was away on vacation. I am beyond grateful for the extraordinary kindness and dedication she showed my dog, Zuma, in his final moments. She went above and beyond—not only by first taking him to the regular vet while he was staying with her, but also by not hesitating to take him to the pet ER when he needed more care. She even carried him herself when he was too sick to walk, showing him the love and gentleness he deserved. Throughout it all, she remained in constant communication with me, making sure I knew how he was doing every step of the way. I am devastated by the loss of my sweet Zuma, but I could not imagine better care for him. Even though he has passed, knowing he was treated with such love, dignity, and attentiveness brings me comfort. If Zuma had lived, I know I would have been a regular of hers whenever we went on trips, because finding someone who cares so deeply is rare. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for being there for him when I couldn’t be.
