“Zach was absolutely awesome! From the very first meet and greet, he was thorough and professional—he took the time to ask all the right questions and made sure he fully understood our dogs’ routines and personalities. It was clear right away how comfortable the dogs were with him, and his calm, friendly energy won them over instantly. While we were away, Zach kept us updated with plenty of pictures and messages, which gave us total peace of mind. The dogs looked happy, relaxed, and well cared for in every update. When we got home, the house was spotless and exactly as we left it—he went above and beyond to keep everything in order. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. Highly recommend Zach to anyone looking for someone responsible, caring, and attentive to both pets and home!”

“Taylor looked after my fur baby while i went away for a weekend trip. She stayed at my house, and everythihng was good when i returned. My fur baby looked happy. Some initial issues with communication and amendments to dates, but worked with Taylor to resolve the issue and everything, thankfiully, worked out.”

“We were very grateful to have Jennifer's help with our three pets while out of town (an adult dog, a puppy, and a cat). We appreciated her enthusiasm to be there for our pets, be a presence for our home while we were gone, and it gave us a lot of peace of mind. She was very communicative and respectful of our home, and she took good care of our animals. Thank you, Jennifer!”

“Alexa was great with housesitting my 2 dogs! She is responsible and friendly, arrived on time, and kept me updated throughout her stay with messages and photos. I would definitely trust her to watch my doggos again!”

“Phoebe was phenomenal! She stayed at our home with our cat and dog while we traveled. Both are animals are older and have several medications, and one has weekly treatments with our veterinarian. Phoebe provided all of their medications and appointments easily. She went above and beyond taking precautions to help protect the pipes from freezing at the house since there was a hard freeze for several days while we were away. Phoebe sent us lots of pictures and kept us updated on how our babies were doing while we were away. We returned to a clean home and happy babies. We are so grateful for everything Phoebe did and would absolutely recommend her for any house sitting needs!”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life and have never lived in a home without pets. I’ve had four dogs over the years and have cared for many different types of animals since I was a kid. Animals have always been a constant part of my life, not just something I do occasionally. Throughout my life, I’ve also continually volunteered at animal shelters and farms, which has given me hands-on experience with animals of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. Currently, I care for a Great Pyrenees and seven cats, so I’m very comfortable with large breeds, multi-pet households, and managing different routines and personalities. I take pride in being patient, attentive, and dependable, and I treat every pet as if they were my own while keeping owners informed and at ease. My weekly schedule is finalized the day prior and can vary slightly, but my daily commitments are usually limited to a short portion of the day. This gives me flexibility and availability for consistent pet care. I communicate clearly once my schedule is set so routines are always maintained. I focus on creating a calm, safe environment and follow all care instructions closely. I respect pets’ routines, keep spaces clean and secure, and take a gentle, patient approach—especially with cats or shy pets. I also treat clients’ homes with care and communicate clearly for peace of mind.
“Hailey was so awesome! She treated our puppy like she was her own, and even taught her tricks and gave her special treats. Our dog was in great spirits and better behaved when we got back from our trip than when we left. Hailey even brought in our mail, took out our garbage, and fed our fish. It was so wonderful. We would have Hailey back anytime, and I’m sure our pup would love to see her. Thank you so much, Hailey!”

About: I've been pet sitting/dog walking for 6 years and I've been working in the animal industry for 9. I have worked in general and emergency medicine, as well as physical rehabilitation. I enjoy working with nervous pups who aren't sure of. I like building a safe and comfortable relationship they a can rely on. I am working part time so I can focus more on my pet sitting / dog walking business. My part time job is work from home so my hours/availability are flexible during the week. I always ensure that whatever harness/collar is being used for a walk is on correctly prior to leaving the house. I also will ask for any tips/tricks to know before going on a walk or watching your pet while you're away to ensure a happy and fun time.
“Mary was absolutely amazing! From the moment we left, she made us feel completely at peace about being away for a full week. She cared for my fur baby with so much love and attention, sending thoughtful updates and sweet photos that showed how well he was doing. You can truly tell she has a heart for animals — patient, gentle, and so attentive to every detail. Coming home to happy, relaxed dog was the best feeling. We are incredibly grateful for her care and would trust her again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend Mary to anyone looking for someone who treats your pets like her own!”

“Maria was absolutely incredible with our two dogs, Finn and Chai! She went above and beyond—giving them tons of love, exercise, attention, and even handling medications with care. We came home to two very happy pups and a tidy space. She kept us updated the whole time and truly treated them like her own. We can’t recommend her enough and are so grateful to have found someone we trust completely!”

“Raechel was great! This was my first time using the app and I was in a bit of a time crunch and this was also the first time I needed a house sitter for my animals. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats so the job was large and Raechel did not blink an eye to it! Her communication is fabulous as I was sent multiple pictures each day of the crew. Even my most reclusive cat seemed to love her new sitter which totally surprised me! Overall the dogs and cats seemed to love their new friend for the week and I felt completely confident in Raechel while I was gone.”

“This was our first time using Kaylee and she was beyond fantastic! She regularly texted us and had pictures too. You can tell she really loves what she does. We will definitely be using her in the future!”

“Elizabeth was excellent, she took our pup for a walk multiple times a day, she updated us regularly with pics and messages about how she was doing. We have a very independent dog and from all the pics, our dog Liberty seemed like she was living her best life and enjoying and spending more time with Elizabeth than she does with us! We couldn't have been happier and highly recommend her!”

About: I have two dogs. I’ve grown up with dogs and I love caring for them. I volunteer at the humane society and have years of experience caring for animals. I work from home. My dogs get walked three times a day and we typically go to the dog park as well. My dogs are built into my daily rousting. I can handle most situations regarding the pet. I can walk them or just let them out. It’s easiest for me to take them to my residence and care for them but I can do whatever the client needs. I work from home so pet care is easy and not time consuming. I can work with any schedule as long as I have enough notice. I work from home so pet care is easy and not time consuming. Alaqua Lakes pet parents share their Rover experiences
Zach lived up to all the amazing reviews house sitting our two fur babies (Golden doodle and Aussie doodle) for the past 4 nights. We came home to an immaculately clean house with two happy boys. Zach was very detailed throughout the whole process from the initial meet n greet ensuring he knew the ins n outs of their routine, behaviors, likes/dislikes and everything in between. Zach sent multiple picture and videos with updates every day all the way up through the last day. We will absolutely be using Zach for future occasions from walks to house sittings and can’t recommend him enough.

We love Heather! If you can’t be there, she is the person you want to take care of your pets. She watched our dogs for 4 nights in our home. She embraced all of their quirks and treated them as if they were her own pets. She communicated regularly via text. She even sent some videos, and got some great pictures of our pups. We are looking forward to more trips since we’ve found a great sitter for the girls!
