About: I recently moved to the area and am a retired softball coach that owns a private practice working in sport psychology & mental performance. As you can imagine, marketing & finding new clients owning your own business takes time!! While making connections in the area, I thought back to how I made money as a kid… cue pet sitting! At the mere age of 8 I started to hustle by starting my own neighborhood dog washing business, and eventually this bloomed into being the first call any neighbor made when they were going away for vacation. On top of always having a variety of pets in my home (cats, dogs, reptiles, hedgehog, fish, etc.), I've picked up on a lot of the necessary skills needed to keep animals happy & healthy through diet, exercise, play, & affection. Pet sitting is a lot more than filling up their bowl and sitting on the couch watching tv- it's about being a temporary replacement for an animal's loved one while they are away. I currently have a VERY flexible schedule, I work from home so would be available to do any drop ins/boarding as necessary throughout the day. I currently live in a neighborhood with a ton of families that I see walking their pets daily! It allows for a lot of space to walk my home has a secure, fenced in back yard! About: I’ve taken care of everything from Great Danes to Shih Tsu and numerous cats. Most of my clients are repeat customers. My passion for animals comes through the way I care for them I work full but my daughter 15 and son 13 after school help me with the pets with whatever it needs to be done. About: Paws & Claws Pet Care of Lake Mary I am mom to an adorable 18lb pup who I raised using the positive reinforcement method. In addition, I've always had pets since I was young. On most days I am currently available for drop-in visits from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm Monday to Friday. On Saturday and Sunday I have more flexibility. In June 2026 my schedule changes to Thursday and Sunday with open flexibility and 9:30 am to 10:00 am on Monday to Wednesday and Friday to Saturday. Safety is a priority for me. For boarding, dogs must have updated vaccines, be clean, and free of fleas, worms, mites, etc. During boarding with more than one dog, I always make sure that the new dog gets along well with the other dogs before the pet parent leaves. It’s best to know your dog’s personality. If your dog shows signs that they do not respect other pets boundaries even during play then group boarding may not be the best fit. For everyone's safety, health, and happiness, if the dog does not get along then the pet parent may need to make back up arrangements. For best practices, parents should always have a back up option in case things don't work out or if there is an emergency. To prevent the risk of dogs not getting along, the pet parent can offer to buyout the sitter at their full capacity. Other best practices to consider: For pups who are sensitive to minor sounds, it may be best to book them with a sitter who lives in a house versus an apartment. For dogs who are prone to potty accidents or excessive drooling, it may be best to book them in a home that has wood floors versus full carpeting. Pups who don't like to share attention would match best with sitters who except one dog at a time. Pets who have extremely high energy may be happiest with sitters who have a fenced in yard for them to run around freely.

About: I've always felt more comfortable with animals rather than people. I've worked with horses off and on for years. I like dogs more than most people. I feel comfortable around dogs that many people are afraid of. I take a cautious approach to dogs and let them get comfortable with me before petting them. I enjoy letting cats be themselves and slowly come out of their shell. I'd like to think I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable around me. I'm eager to help you with your pets. Monday through Friday, I'm available from 4pm until midnight. On Saturdays and Sundays, I'm available from 7am until midnight. I love to take dogs for walks. I take my dog for a walk every day to my apartment's dog run where we play for at least 30 minutes. If your dog is staying overnight with me, I can make sure to take your dog to the dog run when it's cooler, right before sunset. I can watch cats in my apartment, too.
About: I am a lover to all pets, but especially big dogs. Some people are scared of them, but I think that they’re the biggest babies ever. I’ve had one of my own so I know from personal experience. I’ve handled pets from the tiniest to the biggest so I love them all. I currently work full-time. But I’m a very flexible person and I have no problem with early mornings or late afternoons. I’m honestly OK with any time upon discussion. Just reach out! I care for pets in their own environment so they stay comfortable and stress-free. I follow their daily routine, give plenty of attention, go for walks or play sessions, and make sure they’re fed and happy. I also keep the home tidy and secure while you’re away.

About: I recently moved to the area and am a retired softball coach that owns a private practice working in sport psychology & mental performance. As you can imagine, marketing & finding new clients owning your own business takes time!! While making connections in the area, I thought back to how I made money as a kid… cue pet sitting! At the mere age of 8 I started to hustle by starting my own neighborhood dog washing business, and eventually this bloomed into being the first call any neighbor made when they were going away for vacation. On top of always having a variety of pets in my home (cats, dogs, reptiles, hedgehog, fish, etc.), I've picked up on a lot of the necessary skills needed to keep animals happy & healthy through diet, exercise, play, & affection. Pet sitting is a lot more than filling up their bowl and sitting on the couch watching tv- it's about being a temporary replacement for an animal's loved one while they are away. I currently have a VERY flexible schedule, I work from home so would be available to do any drop ins/boarding as necessary throughout the day. I currently live in a neighborhood with a ton of families that I see walking their pets daily! It allows for a lot of space to walk my home has a secure, fenced in back yard! I personally do have 2 cats in my home that are both good with dogs. I had recently introduced the kitten to my adult cat so have experience with introducing new animals to each other! In your home, I'd be sure to follow all instructions and keep your animal comfortable during your time away.
