Pet care experience
Special TLC for all visiting pets
With over 35 years experience with four-legged (and some two-legged) pets. My clients refer to me as a pet whisperer. Senior fur babies and those with special needs, i.e. rescues, medical needs, separation anxiety, etc. are my specialty. They love my fenced-in yard and will even let them on my furniture, if allowed at home. I look forward to giving hugs and kisses to your baby.

Ratings and reviews
We took our 11 year old Rufus to Rita’s over 4th of July. He is always frightened by loud noises and needs lots of comfort! Rita did a good job keeping him safe and secure during the July4th holiday. We highly recommend Rita and will use her again for Rufus!

Rita has been a wonderful resource for my pups….

We were so nervous about leaving Rufus with anyone since we just adopted him 2 months ago and he is 11 years old. Rita was great! She was very calming and had all under control. She kept us informed daily with photos and descriptions of his activities. She really know what she is doing!

Rita is so sweet BOOK her!!

Irene is a rescued dog who has been with us for over a year. She’s naturally skittish and gets stressed easily, so finding the right person to care for her was very important to us especially after the loss of our beloved Sophie, who was with us for 14 years. Before choosing a sitter, my husband and I carefully reviewed several Rover profiles, and Rita’s immediately stood out. We were drawn to her empathy and experience with rescue dogs and those with medical needs. After a meet-and-greet that went very well, we felt confident giving it a try. Over the past few months, Irene has been in Rita’s care several times, and each visit has only reassured us. We can see that Irene is becoming more comfortable, which speaks volumes about Rita’s patience and compassion. She keeps us updated with pictures throughout the day and always sends a detailed report card afterward, which we truly appreciate. Rita is kind, attentive, and genuinely dedicated to the well-being of the dogs she cares for. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate caregiver for their beloved pet. 🐶

5 stars!!! Rita and her sister are so sweet to my Callie

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced-in yard in a single-story house. I have a 13 year old blind Yorkshire Terrier, who thinks she's a puppy and is very spoiled. Maggie Mae loves her toys and she has lots of them to share. We are able to work with all meal routines and play time.
Pets
A typical day
Since I am generally home throughout the day, your baby gets lots of potty breaks. We have lots of toys and don't mind sharing. It's not unusual to find toys all over the house. Most of them have not yet learned to put them away (haha).

- Let me know if your fur baby has any special needs. I have taken care of senior dogs and visually-impaired and hearing-impaired pets. I have also taken care of diabetic dogs and administered their insulin and given oral medication to them.
