“Our 4 year old dog seemed to have a great time staying with Sarah! She sent pictures of him running around, sitting, smiling. Sarah was communicative, responsive, and prepared, which made me feel more comfortable leaving my "child" with her. I would use her again.”

“Awesome experience! Definitely made me feel like my baby was in a safe place. Super friendly! Close to the airport so convenient too. They sent updates and pics so I could see how my little girl was doing. Allowed me peace of mind to truly enjoy my vacation without worrying!!!”

“Andrea was a God send! My husband and I did and 8 day roadtrip through yellowstone and Grand Teton. She and her husband kept our maltipoo Joon. Joon made friends with their 2 dogs and had the best time playing the entire time. Andrea sent updates and pictures everyday and I felt so relieved to know she was in such good hands. We will be using her in the future. Highly recommend!”

“We are very blessed to find MJ for Armani. MJ truly loves and cares for dogs. Armani loves going to MJs house and misses her when back home. I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. We love MJ 🤗”

“Bryan was great. Davy loved his home and family and dogs. He was able to go in and out as he pleased. He came home happy and healthy and I’ll definitely use Brian again.”

“This was my third time booking with Carla. She always treats my dog so well and makes him feel at home. She is great at communicating and sending pics! I already have her booked again for the future.”

“Mary is a wonderful pet sitter! I boarded my three dogs for 10 days with her & they were extremely well cared for. She has a very kind, gentle and friendly demeanor, lovely home and beautiful big backyard. All three dogs were happy, healthy, and very comfortable in their setting .I would highly recommend Mary!”

“Maria was great at keeping me updated with clear communication and photos/videos throughout the stay. As it was my first time booking, she made the experience very reassuring. I’m definitely looking forward to booking with her again.”

“Amber was absolutely incredible with Champ! It’s always nerve-wracking leaving him behind, but Amber sent frequent updates and the cutest photos, which totally put my mind at ease. She followed all his care instructions perfectly, and I could tell Champ was genuinely happy and well-loved while I was away. I highly recommend her!!! ❤️❤️”

“This was our third time using Rover, and once again, it was a great experience! We left Zeus with Nathaniel, and we couldn’t be happier with the care he gave him. He is very kind and friendly, and he made both of us feel completely at ease from the very beginning. Nathaniel is reliable, responsible, and honest—everything you could hope for when leaving your pet with someone. He treated our furry friend like his own, which we truly appreciated. A big plus is that he’s located very close to the airport, which made drop-off and pick-up super easy and convenient on our way home. We highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and we would definitely leave our big dog with him again!”

“Zuleica was just great with our Fluffy. I felt really at ease with her, she communicated very well and kept us informed on everything. Will definitely recommend her and will definitely keep her in mind for any other needed stays for our Fluffy.”

“Rebecca took great care of our dog, Cookie. Our pup made a new friend in Rebecca’s dog and received great exercise, attention, and care during her boarding stay. Thanks, Rebecca!”

“Martha is awesome! This was my first time using Rover and I was a little nervous leaving Bennett with someone new but Martha couldn't have been better with him. I received many photo updates throughout the long weekend and she reached out to me with any questions and concerns, even including if his eyes watering was normal or if he was comfortable if she took the stickies out of his paws after playing. I appreciated that she was considerate with the small things since we all worry about our fur babies being okay when we're away. He got to go on many walks to the park and she checked with me beforehand what he is comfortable with. She really treated him like her own and he enjoyed playing with the other dogs. I definitely recommend and will use her in the future! Thank you Martha!”

“Natasha was so sweet and easy going. I was running late to the airport and luckily she was conveniently close to the airport. Due to my lateness I forgot their bowls, she was too kind to share a water and food bowl with our puppies. I am so appreciative of her help in such a stressful time. She had great communication and shared pictures of the puppies while we were gone. I recommend her 100% to all looking for a responsible care taker. Will consider using her in the future!”

“Max loved staying with Cheri! She was professional, drop off/pick up were seamless, and I appreciated the picture updates Cheri shared daily - plus I could tell Max liked her right from the start.”

“Kelsey was awesome!!! We left our six month old puppy with her for five days and he had a great time! He was well taken care and she made sure he had lots of love and attention. She also kept us updated with pictures. We had the peace of mind that he was in good hands. He came home happy and content. We are so happy we booked with her and we are looking forward to using her services again in the future.”

We have used Kevin numerous times over the years and I always feel like our pup is in great hands with him. We greatly appreciate his daily texts and picture updates. After a 9 night stay, our pup returned to us looking and smelling clean, had a nice balance of play and rest time, and Kevin was kind enough to trim our pup's nails which Kevin was happy to provide with our request/inquiry. We will definitely reach out to Kevin again for future needs. Thanks Kevin!

Carla took excellent care of our Senior Beagle, Cricket. She sent regular updates and kept meticulous notes of her daily care. We are so thankful to have found a thoughtful caregiver. Our beagle was a rescue and she is extremely stressed if she has to be kenneled. We could tell she was happy and loved while we were away. We would highly recommend Carla as a caregiver and plan to rebook in the future.

Nour provided the exact calm, caring environment our senior dog needed. We are beyond grateful for her patience and attention to detail, which allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worrying if Scraggle was okay. If we need to board her again in the future we will be asking Nour first! 💗

Amanda was so welcoming and gentle when first meeting them! She’s a very active sitter and that was perfect for my dogs because they LOVE their walks and they love to play. She communicated multiple times throughout the day with pictures and videos and even let us keep a tennis ball! I would absolutely bring them back to her again. They loved their stay!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
