“First time with Sarah and she was great with my dogs. I was able to enjoy my vacation and saw pics of my dogs playing with others. I won't hesitate to bring them to her again!”

“This was my first time using Rover or getting a Dog sitter for my little guy. He's kind of a dramatic dog so I was extra anxious but Richard was awesome and went out of his way to make the experience smooth and easy.”

“There aren’t enough stars to rate how incredible Kim is. I was very nervous about leaving my 9.5 month old puppy Izzy while I went away. I needed someone who would only watch one dog at a time and who is home during the day. I did a search and found that people say they only do one pet at a time but after initial contact, they disclosed that they won’t. Kim, on the other hand, was VERY firm that Izzy would be her only guest. I was able to meet Kim prior and see where Izzy would be. Izzy quickly made herself at home because Kim’s home has dog toys, beds and comfy places for any size dog. I knew I made the right choice. Kim is amazing. I dropped Izzy off at our agreed upon time with personal food, favorite toys and treats and favorite bedding. and I felt really comfortable leaving. And Izzy was thrilled with this situation! She had the run of the place. The two of them bonded and Kim loved my baby while I couldn’t. And it is genuine. She really did enjoy having my girl as company. I received many updates with pictures. Izzy was sleeping in the bed, allowed on the furniture, cuddling and loving Kim just like at home. It was clear that Izzy’s vacation might have been better than my time away! When I picked Izzy up she was happy to see me but was a bit reluctant to say goodbye to Kim LOL. That’s when you know your pup is telling you they had a great time. If you need a dog sitter, I can’t recommend Kim highly enough. She will do all she can to make your pup her priority and to love your fur baby as if s/he is hers. Infinite stars if possible. 💜”

“We have booked Mia & Jason twice now for several days at a time and they have taken such great care of our girl Yara, treating her like their own. They follow our care instructions and have sent updates and cute pictures of Yara enjoying her stay. She always comes home happy and tired (which is a good sign that she's getting lots of playtime!) We would not hesitate to book them again!”

About: I grew up caring for multiple large dogs and cats simultaneously. One of the two labs required extra care as he lost a rear limb when he was a puppy. I currently am blessed with a beautiful domestic long hair cat named Misty that has extra grooming needs and requires extensive daily brushing. My professional lifestyle allows me plenty of available time to meet the needs of any unique or variable schedules for both my own and your pets sitting and walking needs. I’m an experienced dog walker and actively engage with animals to keep their attention and gain their trust. For cats I groom and brush daily as well as reinforce positive behavior through praise training.
“Brutus was well loved by the Heather & Brenden family! I appreciated the daily photos and updates and seeing our big guy relaxed and enjoying his time!”

“Absolutely amazing!! From the moment I dropped him off, I could tell Milo felt comfortable and was in great hands. I was updated throughout the day with messages, videos, and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind! When I picked Milo up, he was so happy and looked like he had an absolute blast! It was obvious he was well cared for and had plenty of fun while I was away. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I would definitely book with Charles R and his girlfriend again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a caring, reliable sitter!”

“My dogs LOVE to go to Rebecca’s! They run to her and Cosmo. She’s good with them. Her house is clean, nothing for them to get into. Backyard is huge! My large breed loves to run around back there.it’s all secured with fencing but also has a long leash they can clip to if they can jump fences (my Ella) . My other dog has separation anxiety but was not in a panic when I picked him up, which says a lot! I could go on and on, but she’s great, her boyfriends great, house/yard wonderful! My dogs have gone multiple times and I feel 100% comfortable dropping them and going.”

“Destiny did such a great job with our chico! She would send us pictures twice a day, and told me not to worry when I would text! 😁 He came home a happy camper! She is great!”

“This was the first time we were with Brian and his boys. We met in March to "check each other out" and it went very well and Brian accepted Brooklyn as a guest in May. Brian was very attentive and sent me daily updates and photos. I fully expect Brooklyn will visit again in the future. If you are looking for a loving temporary home for your baby don't hesitate, glad I didn't.”

“We love leaving Chloe with Kevin & Gaby knowing she’ll be well taken care of. They make sure she gets plenty of exercise, her walks, and her meals. They send me updates and pictures. Love this family!”
“I can't say enough good things about Troy and Melanie. This was the first time in my 6 year old dog's life that I have left him anywhere. He has to eat a special diet. Troy and Melanie took great care of him and sent me pictures everyday. He got daily walks and lots of attention. Toby was a happy dog. I would recommend these folks to anyone needing dog care in the Orlando area.”

“Amanda was so welcoming and gentle when first meeting them! She’s a very active sitter and that was perfect for my dogs because they LOVE their walks and they love to play. She communicated multiple times throughout the day with pictures and videos and even let us keep a tennis ball! I would absolutely bring them back to her again. They loved their stay!”

Kevin did an amazing job taking care of our dog while we were out of town. He is extremely knowledgeable and kind. You can easily tell that he is passionate about taking care of dogs. We did not feel any worry about our dogs well being or enrichment needs being met. Kevin made sure we were in the loop why sending multiple pictures of our dog daily. We will definitely be using his services moving forward!

Abigail is AMAZING! Our pup is a mini poodle and just over one year old. He was recently adopted (3 months ago) and very nervous and barky with people he doesn't know. When we met Abigail, he instantly took to her. She made him feel safe and at peace while we went on our 2 day vacation. We are so thankful for Abigail and will book again!!

Jomarie was so amazing! We had to book pretty last minute, but she was so accomodating and kept us updated throughout the trip. We even had some weather delays that changed our plans, and she was more than happy to help us out. The dogs came back healthy and happy. We will definitely be booking with Jomarie again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
