About: I have utmost respect (and lots of love!) for all animals. I truly view them as real friends and equals. With experience, I have also learned how to set and maintain good (and firm - when necessary) boundaries. Dogs have been trusted members of my family since I was a child. I have cared for senior rescue dogs; I have socialized puppies; I have taught reserved dogs new tricks; and I have taught stubborn dogs to sit and wait. I have admittedly less history with cats, but just as much respect and care for them as any other animal. I do currently have one close cat companion (we used to be roommates, and have been best buds ever since). As with all animals, I find that the respect and love I give to the pets I interact with is reciprocated - and often multiplied! As a person who is both adventurous and empathetic, I am generally very well attuned to the health and wellbeing of those around me, and I really enjoy taking dogs for walks almost as much as they do! About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with both dogs and cats and genuinely can’t imagine a home without them! 🐾 My love for animals also led me to volunteer at the Humane Society, where I’ve had the opportunity to spend time with pets of different breeds, personalities, and backgrounds. I also have previous pet-sitting experience through Rover and understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet. I’m patient, attentive, and truly passionate about making every animal feel safe, loved, and comfortable. Your pet won’t just be another booking to me. I’ll care for them like I would my own and make sure they get plenty of attention, affection, and fun while you’re away! I work fully remote from home, which gives me lots of flexibility and allows me to be present with your pet throughout the day! I’m able to provide frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of attention rather than leaving your pet alone for long stretches. My schedule is flexible, so I’m happy to work around your pet’s normal routine as much as possible. I want every pet to feel safe, comfortable, and at home while they’re with me. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine and any instructions you provide regarding feeding, walks, medications, or other needs. I’m attentive and will make sure your pet is supervised, secure on walks, and given plenty of love and attention. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you can feel comfortable knowing how your pet is doing!
“My dogs LOVE to go to Rebecca’s! They run to her and Cosmo. She’s good with them. Her house is clean, nothing for them to get into. Backyard is huge! My large breed loves to run around back there.it’s all secured with fencing but also has a long leash they can clip to if they can jump fences (my Ella) . My other dog has separation anxiety but was not in a panic when I picked him up, which says a lot! I could go on and on, but she’s great, her boyfriends great, house/yard wonderful! My dogs have gone multiple times and I feel 100% comfortable dropping them and going.”
