“Melissa did a great job with my Sasha & left my home in mint condition. Care instructions were followed to the letter, took lots of photos & left notes on how Sasha was doing. At one point when I checked in on them, I saw Melissa was wiping Sasha‘s eye boogies🥹 I have another trip towards the end of the year, I know exactly who I’ll be booking with. Thanks Melissa! 💐”

“Megan is so reliable, communicative, and loves our animals so much! She is very understanding and happy to follow long sets of directions. She has watched our pets multiple times and I would highly recommend her!”

About: Pet parents love leaving their dogs in my care because they know they don’t have to worry. I take the time to learn your dog’s routine, send regular updates with quality photos, and provide a cozy home sanctuary where your pup will be loved and cared for like my own. I provide exclusive and personalized care by hosting dogs from only one family at a time, ensuring a true home-away-from-home experience. I’m an artist working out of my home studio, allowing plenty of flexibility throughout the week to offer hands-on care. I’m also available most weekends for boarding. Your dog will spend the day in a calm, loving home with a large, fully fenced yard — perfect for play, sunbathing, and safe exploration. Inside, pets enjoy a relaxed environment with cozy rest areas and plenty of attention. We will enjoy multiple walks per day in a quiet and safe neighborhood.
“Wow, I can't say enough about Tori. Communicative, quick replies, on time, trustworthy, respectful, the list goes on! I won't book with anyone else. It's hard for me to trust strangers, but Tori has me worry free anytime I'm out of town.”

“Kellye is the best! She came daily to care for our new chihuahua puppy and took great care of her. She was helpful with training consistency and is incredibly communicative. She was flexible with changes in Susy’s care anytime we asked and we are sad to be moving as we will no longer have Kellye nearby. Highly recommended you book with Kellye!”

“Christi was great with my dog and sent multiple pictures of her while she was out on walks. My apartment was just as clean as what I left it too. Definitely recommend her!”

“Sarah always takes great care of my cat Cleo while I’m gone on vacation and she even spends more than an hour or two with her at each visit. Pictures are always sent and many of them and Cleo really likes her which says a lot! Highly recommend 🙂”

About: I grew up with two large German Shepherds, so I’ve been comfortable around big, powerful breeds my entire life. I’ve recently lived with a rambunctious Golden Retriever puppy & an elderly Boston Terrier. I'm active on another pet/house-sitting app called TrustedHouseSitters through which I've cared for 2 Australian shepherds (3yrs & 6yrs), 2 Goldens (5yrs & 5yrs), a Rhodesian ridgeback mix (2yrs), a a Boston terrier (3yrs), a yorkipoo (16yrs), a Chihuahua (15yrs), and a Shiba Inu (4yrs). I'm comfortable with all sizes, ages, and regimens. I work remotely which allows me to work around whenever your pet needs to be walked, fed, medicated, or entertained! I lead an active lifestyle myself, so if your dog thrives on long walks, runs, hikes, or endless games of fetch, I’m very down to be their exercise partner. If you have a couch potato who just wants to chill, I’m happy to match that energy as well. Following directions and communications are both strong suits for me! I am more than happy to jump on a quick call or video chat to answer any questions you might have, or arrange an in-person meet & greet to ensure we’re a great fit. Since I work remotely, I can fit my work schedule around any type of pet care - administering medicine, bathroom breaks, multiple meals, etc.. I exercise almost every day so adding walks/run or playing games of fetch acts as great exercise for both of us! If your pet comes to my place, it's a spacious apartment with a dog park and multiple green spaces or walking paths nearby. Communication is very important to me so you know your pet's routine is staying consistent. If I am to come to your residence, the majority of my experience has been full house-sitting for pet owners. I adhere to instructions well and quickly ask questions when needed!
About: I’m new to Rover, but not new to pets. I’ve spent years dog and cat sitting for family, friends, and people from my church while they travel so I’ve basically already been doing this, just without the app. Boarding is where I’m strongest. Whatever you’re away for a weekend trip, a long workweek, a stretch out of town your pet gets a quiet, pet free home and someone who’s actually paying attention to them, not just checking a box. It’s just me and my roommate here, no kids, no chaos, no other pets running around unless we’re talking about yours LOL. But if boarding isn’t what you need, I also do drop in visits and walks. A midday or evening walk for your dog, or a quick morning/night stop to feed and check on your cat while you’re out. My schedule’s flexible (I work fulltime but it’s not a rigid 9-5), so I can usually make mornings, evenings, weekends, whenever your pet needs me. I’m not the type to drop them off with food and a bowl and disappear for the day. I want to actually know their personality by the time you pick them up. I’ve taken care of dogs and cats of pretty much every age and energy level, from the zoomies at 6am crowd to older pets who just want someone patient around and a quiet spot to nap. Routines matter to me too if your pet eats at a certain time, walks a certain route, or has a little quirk, I want to know about it and stick to it. I’ll keep you in the loop while I’m with them. Feeding on schedule, medication if they need it, litter box scooped, fresh water, the whole routine handled the way you’d do it yourself. Photo updates too, so you’re never left wondering how things are going. Can’t wait to meet you both and hear what your pet’s routine looks like. My schedule is flexible, so I’m available mornings, evenings, weekends, and throughout the week as needed. I take the time to learn your pet’s personality, preferences, and routine so they can feel as comfortable as possible. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, so I do my best to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether they’re staying in my home or I’m stopping by yours, I follow their routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, medications, and any special instructions you provide. I provide a calm, pet free home for boarding and make sure every pet gets plenty of attention and care. I also send photo updates throughout their stay because I’d want the same thing if it were my pet. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands

“Justin has been amazing with our dogs! He stayed overnight with them and has also walked them, and we’ve had a great experience every time. He’s reliable, sends plenty of pictures and updates, and it’s clear he genuinely loves and cares for our pups. We always feel at ease knowing they’re in such good hands. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve loved dogs for as long as I can remember. I was the kid who put a dog at the top of my Christmas list every single year, the only thing I ever asked for! Since I didn’t actually get a dog of my own until my senior year, I spent all those years getting my puppy fix by caring for other people’s dogs. I started pet sitting and dog walking whenever I could, and as I got older, that turned into overnight stays, week-long house sitting, and consistent walking and care. One of my favorite experiences was taking care of my roommate’s dog while she was away at work throughout an entire year. I loved having a dog around so much that it hardly ever felt like a job! I especially love caring for high energy dogs, including breeds like Goldendoodles. I’m always happy to play, cuddle, give lots of attention, and make sure they get plenty of exercise through long walks or runs. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each dog’s personality and making sure they feel happy, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I truly love doing. I am doing my internship at a children’s hospital in orlando. My schedule for the next 16 weeks is between the hours of 7:30am-4:30pm M-F. It varies for my different rotations. I can be available early mornings or nights! I also can be available on weekend days. I love to destress or wind down by getting a walk in before, after work, or on the weekends enjoying the Florida sun! I eventually want to become a facility dog handler during my full time job and actually have a rotation during my internship for 4 weeks:) I treat every client’s home and pet with care and respect. I always make sure doors, gates, and windows are secure, keep pets away from anything they shouldn’t get into, and follow each pet’s specific routine and instructions. I’m attentive to their behavior and needs, and I make sure they’re safe, comfortable, and supervised throughout my visit. I also respect your home by keeping things clean and leaving everything as I found it.
“Davina was great! This was my first time using this service and I will definitely be using her again. I had peace of mind all weekend knowing she’d be dropping in on my fur babies”

“Christina was consistent and prompt with her visits! Our pup always looked very happy in his Rover Cards. We could enjoy our time away knowing she was taking great care of our boy!”

About: I have grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes my entire life! I enjoy being around animals and love to take care of them. I own two female German shorthaired pointers who have TONS of energy! And that’s what I love most about them. I know how important it is to meet all animals exactly where they’re at temperament wise. I truly enjoy being around animals…more than humans sometimes! I look forward to getting to walk or play with your fur babies! I work a hybrid job, so I am remote 2-3 times a week where I am fully home all day with my pups. On the days I go into the office, my partner comes home during lunch to let our dogs out. On weekends, I am home full time as well. I have a big fenced in backyard perfect for activities! My own pups love to run around and play fetch back there. Dogs are allowed in furniture and to sleep in the bed in my house.
About: I provide loving, reliable pet care. I handle every situation with calm handling, and personalized routines, ensuring pets feel safe, understood, and truly cared for. I work daily but can bring pets with me. I offer multiple walks, give meds, flexible updates, and full weekend availability for reliable, consistent care. In my home or yours, I follow each pet’s routine—feeding, walks, meds, playtime, and updates. I keep their space clean, safe, calm, and comforting at all times. I can create pets as well I have one already on hand
“Incredibly helpful and quick to assist in a pinch. Adapted to my dogs’ usual schedules for a few visits while we were out of town. We’ll definitely reach back out (with more of a heads up next time)!”

“Jereny is incredible and super reliable. Our puppy is an escape artist and Jereny went early to keep the pup safe and found a good way to secure the crate for us in the first week. She has been flexible with the schedule when we randomly have a change. She has also work led on many training things with the pup and describes the techniques so we can repeat. Great service!”

“Sydnie has taken amazing care of our pups! She is trustworthy, professional and very dependable. I am so happy she was able to pet sit for us again and I am looking forward to many more.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Maitland
Emma was absolutely wonderful with my pets! She provided drop-in visits twice a day on the days when my boyfriend or neighbor wasn’t able to be there, and she handled all of their complicated little routines so easily. I was honestly a little nervous about finding someone who could keep up with everything, but Emma was fantastic. Her daily reports were incredibly detailed, and I really appreciated knowing how each visit went and how my pets were doing throughout my trip. She made me feel completely comfortable knowing they were being checked on, cared for, and getting everything they needed while I was away. I would absolutely recommend Emma and would happily book her again! ❤️

We had a wonderful experience with Isabella. She took excellent care of our dog and was very attentive to all of her needs. I really appreciated receiving updates and photos after every visit—it was always so nice to know how Savannah spent her day. Isabella is reliable, caring, and truly professional. She gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. We would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter, and we will definitely book with her again!

Anna has been wonderful with our puppy! She’s kind, reliable, and always keeps us updated with photos and messages after her visits. We’re very grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy pet sitter or dog walker.

Luna is a very structured sitter. She keeps my pets on schedule and gives them love and attention while I’m away. She also cleans any messes they make which is not a fun thing to do. I have no worries when I’m away which allows me to enjoy myself. I highly recommend her! 😊

I feel so lucky to have connected with Carolina on my first use of Rover! I have a senior French Bulldog who can't be alone all day. Carolina did a meet and greet with us and then two drop in visits while I was gone all day. My dog, who can be pretty grouchy and protective, has been won over! We will hire Carolina again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
