Keeping Little Ones Happy & Healthy
Beginning in childhood, I’ve had several dog breeds (over 20!) that I’ve been tasked to take care of, play with, keep healthy and whose needs I’ve grown to pay attention to and understand. I adore animals and I approach them gently and mindfully, always considering what support will help prolong their lifespan and keep them happy, yet trained and behaved. My friends and family often call on me to either keep their pets company, train or housesit them, and I’m always more than happy to spend time with their animals. I firmly believe pets are not toys, and much more like our own kids, deserving of care, compassion, joy and attention. I have 17+ years experience taking care of and loving French bulldogs and pugs, who notoriously require extra responsibility, attention and instruction, as they can be stubborn and prone to health and breathing issues (often brought on by heat). I have cared for senior dogs who deserve nothing but love towards the end of their lives, and also puppies who need time spent on training and feeling safe, and lots of play and activity to stimulate their growing minds.

She was an excellent sitter! Was very caring and sweet with my dog and made him feel comfortable in a new environment. She was very accommodating and gave me multiple updates, which I appreciate and looked forward to during my trip. I recommend her to all my pet parent friends and would recommend you to a book with her as well.

Nour was friendly and communicative, and Mazie was cared for during her stay. The day after the stay, Nour reached out regarding compensation for damage to her blinds that she believed was caused by Mazie. Given Mazie’s history and behavior on Rover (she’s never damaged anything before), I was surprised to receive that claim and request for money. Rover clarified the policy and we resolved it, but I want to note this experience so future pet parents have the full picture.
Super accommodating, especially with a last minute notice!
My puppy had the best time staying with Nour! From the very beginning she was kind, welcoming, and attentive. She sent me updates and photos throughout the weekend, which gave me so much peace of mind. My pup came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s obvious how much she loves dogs and treats them like her own. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely be booking with her again!
Nour steps up to take care of our special needs Sunny, a Frenchie who got treated badly before we took her in. Sunny has trust issues around people but with how much Nour is devoted to animals and patient, they became close and Sunny let guards down. Nour makes spaces very safe for timid dogs, and she isn’t pushy with them. I’d love to recommend her to take care of dogs in her community, I’ve seen her love for dogs up close.

Zeitplan
I am a graduate student, with flexible availability between Saturday to Tuesday, during my off days, when I’ll be studying from home, often lounging and relaxing in my space. Having a pet to look after, feed and care for would not only be a very welcomed time commitment, but would make my space feel even more homely and bring me joy. I have enough time to play with dogs, pay attention to their unique needs and keep them active and joyful, or to simply accompany them while they rest and rejuvenate.

I have a spacious apartment and a shaded dog park within my apartment community, as well as a dog wash corner next to the park - helpful during hot days in Florida. I am extremely mindful towards any pet staying with me, and provide them with a comfortable, safe and cooled space, in which I am committed to staying aware of their habits, likes and dislikes, and learning to understand their groove. There are several areas for them to use the bathroom outside, take a walk within the apartment community, as well as designated pee pads inside the apartment. I am happy to be in touch with the clients as often as needed, to help them feel at ease about letting their little one stay with someone new. I care about building trust with a dog, and taking the time to grow our bond, so they can be at ease in their surroundings and reduce any anxiety from a new environment.
Ein typischer Tag
Each dog and owner have different needs and goals, depending on the energy level, age, health status previous trauma and personality of the dog. I love to be playful with dogs, keeping them entertained and curious, with toys or engaging games. Sometimes simply telling them they’re a good boy or girl, and several other compliments and sweet nothings, will help them feel more relaxed and lean in to playing. I also take them for walks, with the length of walk depending on the weather and mood/disposition of the dog, for pee breaks, and to the dog park in my apartment community where every dog is leashed and pre-approved. The pet with me can explore their new surroundings, take in new sights and smells in the apartment community and neighborhood, and enjoy treats for good behavior (if that’s okay with their owner of course). Sometimes I also play calming nature documentaries that often pique the interest of attentive dogs, who enjoy the new sounds and visuals of other animals. Cuddles with dogs who enjoy them, are always a highlight.
