“Tiffany was so great! She arrived as promised and even took our dog out one extra time for us since we were returning late. The dog was happy and well- cared for, left the house in great shape. Will definitely use Tiffany again and highly recommend!”

“Logan was absolutely fantastic with our dogs! Leaving them behind is never easy, especially because they are highly active and each have their own unique personalities, but Logan made the entire experience stress-free. He gave them plenty of attention, kept up with their energy levels, and made sure they were well cared for while we were away. We loved receiving updates and could tell our pups were happy, comfortable, and in great hands. It’s clear that Logan genuinely cares about the animals he watches, and that peace of mind is priceless. We came home to happy dogs and a well-cared-for home. We highly recommend Logan to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, and caring dog sitter. We would gladly have him watch our dogs again!”

“Under unexpected and difficult circumstances during her stay, Yelena cared for my dogs in an extraordinarily special manner…an effort I won’t forget and remain thankful for”

“Danielle was amazing with Skai and very communicative. She sent me pictures throughout the stay and I felt very secured. She took amazing care of Skai and I would definitely book again!”

About: As a proud pet parent to two dogs and two cats, I know every pet has their own personality, routine, and way of showing love (or attitude! 😸). I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave them with someone else, so my goal is to make you feel just as cared for as your pets. I’m dependable, detail-oriented, and believe communication is everything. You’ll get regular updates, photos, and honest check-ins so you can actually relax while you’re away. Whether your pet wants a long walk, a game of fetch, a quiet cuddle, or simply someone to respect their space, I’m happy to meet them where they are. I treat every pet like family and every home with the same care and respect I’d expect for my own. I work from home full-time, which gives me the flexibility to provide consistent care throughout the day while house sitting. Your pets won’t be left alone for long periods, and I can easily fit walks, playtime, potty breaks, feedings, medications, and cuddle sessions into my schedule. Whether you need drop-in visits, walks, or overnight care, I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine. I’m happy to schedule meet and greets to make sure everyone (especially pets) is comfortable. I know that keeping your pet’s routine as normal as possible helps them feel comfortable while you’re away. If you have a schedule, I’ll stick to it! Whether it’s feeding times, medications, walks, bedtime routines, or favorite playtimes, I’ll follow your instructions closely. I treat every home with respect, keep things clean and secure, and provide regular updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is for you to come home to a happy pet and the peace of mind that everything was well cared for.

“Thanya took great care of Tuco and the house. She is very responsive and sent updates twice a day. With her knowledge and experience with animals I felt very comfortable leaving Tuco in her care.”

About: Many have said that I am a dog whisperer. I enjoy walking dogs or just being a companion for cats and dogs. I also have senior care training to include giving meds. Right now this is my only job so I am available at all times of morning, mid day and evenings. I always accept positions that leave enough time in between sittings. I have a huge fenced in back yard. I do have a Staffy and he loves making new friends. H had a small dog for 6 of his years in our home and he was so good with him.
“Amazing! Devona stayed with my pup when i was away for a weekend. She kept me informed of everything, sent me photos daily, and was very quick to respond. I will definitely call her again for house sitting.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 12 years old, and they’ve always been a huge part of my life. Over the years, I’ve had experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities, including Pit Bulls, French Bulldogs, Yorkshire Terriers (Yorkies), Cane Corsos, and many others. My love for animals goes far beyond simply caring for them—they truly become family. I understand that every dog has their own unique personality, routine, and needs, and I take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I’m committed to providing the same level of care and attention that I would give my own pets. If you choose me as your pet sitter, you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member will be treated with patience, compassion, and plenty of love every step of the way Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine. I currently work part-time, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., which allows me plenty of time each day to provide attentive care before and after work. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply companionship, I’m available to give them the love and attention they deserve. On the weekends, I’m completely off, giving me even more flexibility to accommodate your pet’s schedule and spend quality time with them. I understand how important it is to maintain your pet’s routine, and I’m committed to making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while you’re away. I care for every pet as if they were my own, making their comfort, safety, and happiness my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and specific needs so they can feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. In my client’s home, I strive to keep your pet on their normal schedule by providing fresh food and water, walks or potty breaks, playtime, exercise, medication (if needed and with instructions), and plenty of affection. I also make sure your home is respected and kept tidy while I’m there. To give you peace of mind, I’m happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can see how your furry family member is doing. Whether your pet is energetic and loves to play or prefers quiet companionship, I’ll provide patient, loving, and reliable care tailored to their individual needs.
“Steffanie took such great care of our husky/shepherd mix, Jase, and home while we were away! She left our home spotless, administered all of his medication and supplements as requested, and took him on multiple daily walks. Would love to hire her again!”

“Jonathan did an incredible job as always! Great communication with pictures each day, and the recaps he sends reassures you that your pets are in great hands. House was in impeccable shape when we returned and we will continue to use his pet services again!”

About: Loved all animals for a very long time. I have enjoyed caring for family pets and have loved every second of it. Now I’m ready to treat your pet like another family member! Currently working part-time and a UCF student. I love animals and always have! One fun fact is a lot of owners that say their animals aren’t usually nice to new faces, their pet has liked me automatically I respect your extra member of the family and am eager to help out any way I can. I follow clear instructions even if some may believe it’s “too much” I don’t.
“Colleen did an amazing job caring for our 2 cats and house for almost 2 weeks! Also, she kept us updated with photos and messages throughout our trip, which gave us peace of mind. We came home to happy cats and a spotless house. We will definitely be booking with Colleen again!”

“Autumn was absolutely phenomenal! She stayed at our house over the Thanksgiving holiday and took incredible care of our two dogs. She sent daily photos and videos, kept them active with walks, and gave them so much love and attention. On top of that, our home was spotless when we returned. We felt completely at ease knowing our pups were in such caring hands. We’ll 100% be using Autumn anytime we go out of town — and the dogs give her all the tail wags! 🐾”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Pine Hills
We had a fantastic experience with Aaliyah. Our dogs were well looked after, and she kept us updated with consistent photos and messages throughout the stay. She also left our home clean and tidy, which we truly appreciated after traveling. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a reliable and caring sitter.

Paula (aka Maria) was excellent! Another sitter that I had booked months ago for a trip out of the country cancelled at the last minute (2 weeks before departure) and that's when I found Paula. She came for a meet and greet, asked all the right questions and we agreed we were a great fit. She took exceptionally great care of my home and my pup while I was away. She updated me daily with pictures, took care of getting the mail, watching the pool water levels and all the little things that needed attention while I was away...including making sure I had enough food for my pup when I got back. She made sure the house was left "better than she found it", something not all sitters do. I am most grateful for the peace of mind I had while away.

This was our 2nd booking with Alicia. As with our first booking, Alicia radiates with warmth, and kindness. We appreciate that we can be away, and know that our fur baby’s routine continues. Received daily updates, pictures, and videos. We can’t imagine using anyone else. Alicia feels like part of our family!

I can’t even begin to stress just how amazing Taylor is, but I’ll give it a go. This was our first time ever using a non family member to watch our pup, who is a bit older and has some medical issues. It was our wedding week, so naturally we were stressed, but from day 1 Taylor was so communicative. Photos, updates, questions all throughout the day - it was incredible! The really big thing for us though, was just how she followed the schedule we left for her and nala to the minute! We will absolutely be using Taylor again!!!!

I don’t have enough words to express how grateful we are for Mariza. This was our first time having a pet sitter and Mariza eased our worry. She sent photos and updates of our girls throughout the day. When we came back home the girls were happy not only to see us but you could tell that they were left in awesome hands. We will be reaching out to Mariza for any future house sitting.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Pine Hills walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Pine Hills maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Pine Hills choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
