Amazing! Cristal had great communication during our stay. She sent lots of photos and I could tell Bear was happy with her. I would gladly book with her again.

Cristal is a great sitter, she was in constant communication with me, sending me videos and updates before I even asked for them. Salsa was very happy in her time with her and went back the next time happily. I really recommend her.

Extremely disappointing and concerning experience — please read before boarding your dog here. This was our first time boarding our puppy, and I was extremely upfront about how important his health and safety are to us. He is a mini dachshund, so his back and preventing jumping are especially important. I provided detailed instructions and specifically explained his routines, training, treats, and safety needs. Before booking, I was repeatedly reassured that my instructions would be followed exactly. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Almost immediately after dropping him off, I received two videos of him jumping, with the sitter actively encouraging the behavior rather than preventing it. We have invested a significant amount of time and effort into his training, specifically working on eliminating jumping, so seeing this was extremely concerning. When I explained why this was unacceptable, I received an “ok ok” response. I was also repeatedly assured that our puppy would not be around other dogs. Yet one of the very first videos I received showed another dog right beside him. This was directly contrary to what I had been told before booking. There were also concerns about his treats. I had provided specific instructions regarding the treats and how much he should receive. I saw him being given what appeared to be six full-sized treats at once. When I questioned this, I was told they were his kibble. I explained that I knew what his kibble looked like and that he barely chews it before swallowing, whereas what I was seeing him eat was clearly something different and required significant chewing. At this point, I expressed how frustrated and uncomfortable I was with how my instructions were being handled. Rather than having a productive conversation, the sitter called me and proceeded to speak over me and verbally berate me. I was essentially unable to get a word in. She later claimed that I had been rude and insulting on the phone, which was particularly frustrating given that I was not actually given an opportunity to have a conversation with her. I ultimately contacted Rover Support because I no longer felt comfortable leaving my puppy in her care. Rover refunded the remaining portion of the booking and escalated the situation for further review regarding a full refund for the time he had already spent in her care. The response from Rover also strongly suggested that they did not consider this to be an appropriate sitter fit for the platform. This experience was incredibly stressful. When you leave your puppy with someone, especially for the first time, you should be able to trust that the detailed instructions you provide will be followed and that your concerns will be treated respectfully. That trust was completely broken here. I would strongly encourage other pet owners, particularly those with puppies, dogs with specific medical/safety needs, or dogs who require consistent behavioral training, to carefully consider whether this is the right sitter for them.

Cristal was very good with my dog dex. I would recommend her a day! She sent pictures and videos daily to help with my anxiety. This was the first time I ever used a dog sitter and I will be using her in the future.
