Jesse is an elder statesman, with elder statesman needs. Ehimare was great with him. I asked Ehimare to overnight board Jesse on two separate occasions while I was traveling. Ehimare graciously welcomed Jesse into his home, and I truly appreciate the care, patience, and subtle approach Ehimare gave to Jesse. He seems to understand dogs and truly care about them. To me, that means a great deal.
Ehimare was great with Zeus, very responsive, shared great pictures and the two of them had fun together with several outdoor activities.

I found Paul almost at the last moment…my regular cat sitter wasn’t available but Paul was interested in watching my cat, though he usually watches dogs. It was a short visit but it turned out well for both him and my cat. I would highly recommend Paul for both cats and dogs due to his calm and friendly demeanor.

I care for pets in my home by providing a safe, calm environment with plenty of attention throughout the day. I work from home full-time, so pets are rarely left alone. My fenced-in yard allows for secure outdoor time, and I take dogs on daily walks through the peaceful, red brick streets and parks of Lake Ivanhoe. I follow each pet’s routine closely — from feeding to play to any special instructions — and I’m especially mindful of creating a stress-free space, especially since I also have a young daughter at home. Only non-aggressive pets are accepted for everyone’s safety.
A typical day
A typical day starts with morning walks through the scenic Lake Ivanhoe neighborhood — lots of green space, red brick streets, and quiet surroundings. After breakfast, pets relax with me while I work from home. Dogs enjoy supervised time in the fenced yard, while cats have cozy spots indoors to explore or nap. Throughout the day, there’s plenty of playtime, affection, and companionship. In the evening, we go for another walk or wind down with some gentle attention and treats. I make sure each pet’s routine and personality are respected so they feel at home and cared for.

Since I have a young daughter at home, I only accept non-aggressive pets for everyone’s safety. For dogs, I’d love to know their leash habits and energy level. For cats, any preferences around space, litter, or handling are helpful. The more details you share, the better I can make them feel comfortable and cared for!
