About: I got my first dog when I was in 6th grade and he was a shitzu. He was the calmest dog I ever had and people told me he kind of resembled me. That was 14 years ago and I have learned a lot of patience, love, and care throughout that time. After he passed 6 years ago, I’ve continued to love animals through fostering (longest was 2 months) and dog sitting both short term and long term. While your pet stays in my home overnight, I will give all my attention to whatever needs they have. I will play with your dog as if they were my own because that is how much I I love them. My special skill is that I am patient with pretty much everything I do so when it comes to your pets, I will keep a cool head when things get “hairy”. I am currently working part time and will have plenty of time to give them attention and company. I also live in a dog friendly neighborhood with plenty of walking trails that will be perfect to explore! I try my best to treat all pets as if they were my own. I also don’t mind if they snuggle next to me on the bed or if they want to relax on the couch.

“We were gone for a week in April, 2024. Our two dogs stayed with Cristy and had a great time. Both of them are special cases. Lola is an 18 year old dachshund who is deaf and partially blind. Pepper is an eight year old Dalmatian/American bulldog mix who was a street dog rescue. Her background is unknown, but there are several clues that she had been abused. Both dogs needed special attention, and they got it with Cristy. We would not hesitate at all to trust Cristy to watch our dogs again any time.”

“Ingrid was amazing with our dog, Morty! She kept us updated with plenty of pictures and made sure he was comfortable and happy the whole time. She was very attentive to his needs even giving him his ear meds which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. “Lee-Anne was great! I got daily updates and pictures. She only takes one dog on at a time (which is important for my dog who doesn’t get along with others). She was attentive to my pup and my dog bonded with her. You can really tell she is a dog person and enjoys watching pups.”
