We had originally booked another sitter for our vacation, and unfortunately had to pick our 4 pups up the next morning on emergency due some issues with the sitter’s behavior and lack of communication. Rover reached out for us to get us a new sitter quickly and Eric immediately called us to assess the situation with our pups. That phone call and conversation alone showed us commitment. When we dropped them off he was so helpful in reassuring us that our pups would be taken care of. We even hung out for a good 20 minutes just chatting while the pups ran around his huge backyard to make sure everyone was comfortable. Eric is one of the kindest people you will ever meet, and he was even sweeter to our pups. Since he works from home, he was able to give them constant care and love, and they even let our pups sleep in their room & bed. I was a little nervous that one of our pups is still recovering from back surgery & an eye injury but they did phenomenal with taking care of his needs. The goal for the last year has been to find a sitter we know can always be our go to, and I truly believe we have found that in Eric and his wife. I’m a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and am actually thankful that we had issues with the previous sitter or else we may have never found Eric! About: Dogs have always been a focal point in my life. I had the honor of raising a sweet pup named Canela from 10 weeks of age until we sadly had to say goodbye to her at the ripe age of 13. Luckily, we have 2 other pups to love on that we rescued in the past 2 years. One’s name is Eddie, a 14-year-old black-and-tan dachshund. The other is named Fiona, a 3-year-old white/apricot collie mix. They are my world. Anyone I meet knows how obsessed I am with dogs and as a result, friends (and even acquaintances) often reach out to me to watch their dogs. It would be a privilege to help you with yours! My husband and I work from home so we have tons of flexibility both during the week and weekend. I am available for walks at pretty much anytime. I am also open to watching your pup at your home or ours (as long as they're friendly with our dogs!). I have a fenced yard where your pup can roam freely if that’s something you’re comfortable with. I will take your dog on a walk with the utmost care and attention, making sure leashes are secured properly before a door is even cracked open. My 4 year old havapoo is obsessed with Rachel and we’ve only met her twice! About: I am the proud owner of a cat named Amy, who has taught me the importance of patience and understanding the body language of animals. I have experience taking care of both dogs and cats, adapting to their different personalities. I make sure that each pet receives the same love and care that I give to mine, always keeping their safety and well-being as my priority. I work as a Medical Assistant from Monday to Friday until 5:00 PM, so I have full availability for evening walks and night visits during the week. Weekends are my days off and I have full availability for day care or long stays (boarding). My work in the health area makes me an extremely punctual and organized person with food and medicine schedules. As a health professional and owner of my cat Amy, safety and well-being come first for me. I am very meticulous following medical instructions or special diets. My home is a quiet and safe environment; I always make sure that all areas are clear and the doors are well closed.
