About: As a former animal trainer (PetSmart, US Navy's Marine Mammal Program, and SeaWorld Orlando) with a combined 15+ years of professional animal caretaking experience, I am looking to do some pet sitting and dog walking after sending my heart dog, Buddy, over the rainbow bridge in September 2023 🌈 I work from home full-time with the occasional in person event, so I am home the majority of the time! About: I've been around dogs my whole life- growing up, our family dogs always slept in my room, played hide and seek with me, and I've always been the one naturally drawn to caring for and protecting animals that crossed my path. I currently have my own furry kid, a Shih Tzu/ Bichon mix with a pink tail, so daily walks, feeding/ potty routines, playtime, and lots of love is my joy, my connection with my soulful self. I was a schoolteacher for 8 years, elementary and middle school. I'm patient, attentive, kind, and treat every pet like I'd want a human to treat my baby. I'm comfortable with puppy care, the frequent potty schedule, supervision, and playtime. I'm also comfortable caring for senior dogs (as my Boston terrier lived beautifully until the age of 15). Taking extra time on walks, giving meds, making sure they feel safe and comfy, just how I'd hope someone would care for me. I think I'm unique in the way that I see that every dog just like all of my former students, they're all different. They each have their own little mind filled with thoughts in their own little world. The kids and 4 legged kids, they need the same individualized care and attention, and also to feel accepted and understood. I run a small truckling company which allows me to have pretty flexible hours during the day, which is why I decided to get on Rover. Madi and I are pretty routine, as we prefer less chaos lol. I would request detailed instructions on routines, fun games, food/walk/play schedules, anything that makes this unique boy or girl the most comfortable they can be!, which will be a win/win for paw parents.

About: Come stay with us at Lola’s (Grandma’s) house! I’m semi-retired and I share my home with my daughter, Christina and my two teenage grandchildren (13 and 16). Together, we provide a loving, active, home away from home for your sweet pups. We love walking and being outdoors and treat all fur babies like family! We have a large home with a fenced yard in a beautiful, dog friendly neighborhood. The whole family loves to help with our furry friends so your precious pup will rarely (if ever) be alone. We have separate spaces for resting and mealtimes and can accommodate crate trained and non crate trained pets. We know that meeting new friends can be intimidating so all doggie introductions are supervised, in the backyard with just one or two other dogs at a time. We have extensive experience with senior and special needs pets and are comfortable administering medication, feeding on a specific schedule and can even administer SubQ fluids. Please note that there may be an additional charge for certain types of special needs services. My dogs are my babies! I love to stay active and enjoy walking the neighborhood and working in our fenced-in yard with my pups by my side. My daughter and my two teenaged grandchildren enjoy lending a hand so your pet will always have someone to shower them with attention while they’re with us. We offer a loving, family environment with lots of exercise, attention and care. We have a fenced in yard and a dog friendly neighborhood for walking along with plenty of space in our home to safely care for your precious pup. Our family LOVES all animals and we can devote lots of time to love and care for your fur baby.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dog for over 5 years now, and I currently work a dog daycare/boarding facility, and have experience with lots of sizes/breeds of dogs! I’m currently working at a dog daycare/boarding facility, and get my work schedule on a biweekly basis. If I need to request time off for a booking, I just need to know at least 2 weeks in advance ◡̈. Other than work, I have no commitments (excluding my own pup, who can be watched by family if need be!) I care for my own pets like my children, making sure they aren’t just sitting around all day, i try and give them some sort of play time/ or mental stimulation (i.e kong’s, lick mats, etc. ) if i cannot provide play time right then and there! I’m also great at respecting boundaries/ reading body language in both dogs and cats.
