“This was our 1st time leaving Dodger with anyone other than family and our 1st time booking thru Rover. Our Dodger has some issues with trust/anxiety of strangers so I wasn't sure if this was going to work or not, but when I messaged Ginni and Tom and explained the concern they were more than willing to give it a try. Ginni reassured us that they have taken care of other dogs with the same issues and so we set up a meet and greet a couple days before the actual booking date. From the 1st moment we met Ginni and Tom I had a good feeling about them and their house and yard. They were so welcoming and made Dodger feel so relaxed. He played in their fenced in backyard for a bit then went inside the house where we visited in the living room. Dodger even snuggled up to Ginni while we chatted. We booked for 3 nights and they were so accommodating to our (somewhat picky) miniature schnauzer. I received photos and updates once a day and that really put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Ginni and Tom and we will be booking again with them.”

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets growing up through childhood, always had dogs and cats especially. Worked at a vet clinic for 2 years, loved it and miss it. About: I've been around dogs my whole life- growing up, our family dogs always slept in my room, played hide and seek with me, and I've always been the one naturally drawn to caring for and protecting animals that crossed my path. I currently have my own furry kid, a Shih Tzu/ Bichon mix with a pink tail, so daily walks, feeding/ potty routines, playtime, and lots of love is my joy, my connection with my soulful self. I was a schoolteacher for 8 years, elementary and middle school. I'm patient, attentive, kind, and treat every pet like I'd want a human to treat my baby. I'm comfortable with puppy care, the frequent potty schedule, supervision, and playtime. I'm also comfortable caring for senior dogs (as my Boston terrier lived beautifully until the age of 15). Taking extra time on walks, giving meds, making sure they feel safe and comfy, just how I'd hope someone would care for me and/or Madi. I think I'm unique in the way that I see that every dog just like all of my former students, they're all different. They each have their own little mind filled with thoughts in their own little world. The kids and 4 legged kids, they need the same individualized care and attention, and also to feel accepted and understood. I run a small truckling company which allows me to have pretty flexible hours during the day, which is why I decided to get on Rover. Madi and I are pretty routine, as we prefer less chaos lol. I would request detailed instructions on routines, fun games, food/walk/play schedules, anything that makes this unique boy or girl the most comfortable they can be!, which will be a win/win for paw parents.
About: I recently moved near Lake Eola, so I’m a new local! About a year ago, I lost my sweet pup and while I’m not quite ready to open my heart to getting another dog of my own, I’ve realized just how much I miss the little things 🥺 seeing tails wag when I walk through the door, the smell of Frito paws and somehow always finding fur stuck to my clothes. I also have experience working over two years in an animal shelter taking care of both dogs and cats. About: I have over 15 years experience. Growing up I had 4 dogs, 3 cats, 2 horses, and 4 birds. Recent days, I specialize in puppies, high energy breeds, and seniors. Got a couch potato? No problem! I'll make sure they get all the snuggles they need. Got a high-energy baby with a frequent case of the zoomies? Good thing I'm high energy too! I'll walk and play with them as much as they want. Got a senior who deserves all the care in the world? They will recieve all my attention and love as if they were my own. I work fully remote at home so as long as you have wifi - I can stop by any time or day! If you need me last minute - let me know! I can make something work.
