“This was our 1st time leaving Dodger with anyone other than family and our 1st time booking thru Rover. Our Dodger has some issues with trust/anxiety of strangers so I wasn't sure if this was going to work or not, but when I messaged Ginni and Tom and explained the concern they were more than willing to give it a try. Ginni reassured us that they have taken care of other dogs with the same issues and so we set up a meet and greet a couple days before the actual booking date. From the 1st moment we met Ginni and Tom I had a good feeling about them and their house and yard. They were so welcoming and made Dodger feel so relaxed. He played in their fenced in backyard for a bit then went inside the house where we visited in the living room. Dodger even snuggled up to Ginni while we chatted. We booked for 3 nights and they were so accommodating to our (somewhat picky) miniature schnauzer. I received photos and updates once a day and that really put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Ginni and Tom and we will be booking again with them.”

About: Dogs have always been a focal point in my life. I had the honor of raising a sweet pup named Canela from 10 weeks of age until we sadly had to say goodbye to her at the ripe age of 13. Luckily, we have 2 other pups to love on that we rescued in the past 2 years. One’s name is Eddie, a 14-year-old black-and-tan dachshund. The other is named Fiona, a 3-year-old white/apricot collie mix. They are my world. Anyone I meet knows how obsessed I am with dogs and as a result, friends (and even acquaintances) often reach out to me to watch their dogs. It would be a privilege to help you with yours! My husband and I work from home so we have tons of flexibility both during the week and weekend. I am available for walks at pretty much anytime. I am also open to watching your pup at your home or ours (as long as they're friendly with our dogs!). I have a fenced yard where your pup can roam freely if that’s something you’re comfortable with. I will take your dog on a walk with the utmost care and attention, making sure leashes are secured properly before a door is even cracked open. I will follow any instructions you provide me with to a T.

About: Hello. My name is Martha and I can't wait to meet your best little friend. I have been taking care of my own pets for the last 40 years and would love help take care of your fantastic four legged babies. My current doggie Zoey is a 1 year old Jackabee who requires lots of activities and exercise that I happily give her daily in our large fenced in back yard and multiple trips to a near by Dog Park at Park of the Americas. Currently I am between jobs so I am able to give full time care for your sweet puppy, which is great for those potty emergencies. Even in the event that I would have to leave it's never longer than an hour and my Mother or Husband would be home to help. I have a big fenced in yard that is perfect for play and exercise. Rainy days aren't a problem cause we have a spacious screened in porch. Overnight we keep our Zoey in a crate near our bed and we are able to divide space in the house if your fur baby needs quiet time. There are two beautiful parks within walking distance, one with a Dog Park. I have two kids that love dogs and are eager to help play with there new Puppy Dog Pal. I have taken care of several older dogs in my time including giving medication, appropriate exercise and proper diet. I do ask that your pet be potty trained Please. I am in between jobs right now so I've got plenty of time to look after your sweet puppers. They will have plenty of open spaces, either in our yard or at the Dog Park that's within walking distance. We have a very large fenced in back yard. For rainy days we can play on our spacious screened in porch. In my life I've taken care of older pets too including giving medication, appropriate exercise and proper diet. Our Pup and all her furry friends get all the love and affection they'll ever need, and then some more.

About: I've always been the one to take care of family and friends pets and when rover came around it was a great way to get to know many different pups I work from home so it makes it easier to be with them and care for them the right way. Walks and feeding and playing I live in a closed community and so they are safe to walk . Also have a fenced in dog park so they can play

I love animals in general. I've had numerous animals over the years. I've bottle fed kittens and puppies. I've potty trained and have taken care of 3 puppies of my own. I've taken care of senior dogs. Some of my own and I am comfortable administering medication to senior or any age dog. About: I got my first dog when I was in 6th grade and he was a shitzu. He was the calmest dog I ever had and people told me he kind of resembled me. That was 14 years ago and I have learned a lot of patience, love, and care throughout that time. After he passed 6 years ago, I’ve continued to love animals through fostering (longest was 2 months) and dog sitting both short term and long term. While your pet stays in my home overnight, I will give all my attention to whatever needs they have. I will play with your dog as if they were my own because that is how much I I love them. My special skill is that I am patient with pretty much everything I do so when it comes to your pets, I will keep a cool head when things get “hairy”. I am currently working part time and will have plenty of time to give them attention and company. About: About Me I’ve been a dog lover for as long as I can remember! Over the past 12 years, I’ve helped care for my sister’s Staffordshire mix, and I still look after him several times a year. Together, my sister and I also rescued a 16-year-old pit bull to give her the loving end-of-life care she deserved. Adopting her at such an old age gave me 9 months of experience with a dog full of needs but with so much love to give. In June 2023, my husband and I adopted our first puppy—a Rhodesian Ridgeback mix—when he was just 4 months old. We took training him very seriously, working on a range of skills from door manners to leash walking. Over a year later, we still train regularly to keep his skills sharp and make learning fun. Beyond family pets, I’ve cared for the dogs and cats of many friends, coworkers, and neighbors. In fact, I visit a neighbor’s dog every weekday for check-ins and playtime. Dogs have been part of my daily life for years, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! Our Lifestyle Our family loves spending quality time with our pup—whether it’s trips to the dog park, road trips, beach days, small hikes, or long walks around the neighborhood. We do our best to include our dog in everything we can, because he’s truly part of our family. I am currently working part time from home and have plenty of time to spend with your pup! I am available weekdays for drop ins and walks. I live in a very dog friendly apartment complex with two large fenced in dog park. During the weekdays, the parks are often empty or next to. I also have a friendly pup who loves all dogs. In your home, I am happy to take dogs into their yards and closely monitor or take on leashed walks around the neighborhood.

About: I have grown up with all types of animals from dogs and cats, to birds and horses. I have a cat, two guinea pigs, a leopard gecko, and a dog myself. I also have experience working over two years in an animal shelter taking care of both dogs and cats. I adopted my current dog at 5 months and we have spent the last year training, so I am comfortable using various commands to communicate with your dogs. I am currently a post grad taking a semester off so I am available full time to take care of your animals. I can drop in, do dog walks, and doggy day care or overnights. I have a large fenced in yard but live with multiple cats and a dog (who is very friendly but hyper). If that environment would not work for your animal I could do day care or drop ins at your residence, although i can only do overnights at my house.

I have a reliable means of transportation and plenty of local dog parks I know of where I can take them to run around and play. Since I have a lot of free time I’m willing to travel or house sit if your pet feels more comfortable with someone there at night. I’m able to either stay at the home or come back a few times a day to feed and walk your pet and give them plenty of attention and love.
