About: My husband and I live in SoDo next to Lake Davis which has a wonderful walking path, wildlife and lots of neighbors walking their own dogs. We have two mini dachshunds named porter and Barley, and we love our fur children. We have a big, fenced-in backyard for zoomies. Barley is the co-founder of Dachshunds of Orlando meet up group every 1st Sat and 3rd Sun of the month at Lake Druid Dog Park. Find us on Facebook! About: Beginning in childhood, I’ve had several dog breeds (over 20!) that I’ve been tasked to take care of, play with, keep healthy and whose needs I’ve grown to pay attention to and understand. I adore animals and I approach them gently and mindfully, always considering what support will help prolong their lifespan and keep them happy, yet trained and behaved. My friends and family often call on me to either keep their pets company, train or housesit them, and I’m always more than happy to spend time with their animals. I firmly believe pets are not toys, and much more like our own kids, deserving of care, compassion, joy and attention. I have 17+ years experience taking care of and loving French bulldogs and pugs, who notoriously require extra responsibility, attention and instruction, as they can be stubborn and prone to health and breathing issues (often brought on by heat). I have cared for senior dogs who deserve nothing but love towards the end of their lives, and also puppies who need time spent on training and feeling safe, and lots of play and activity to stimulate their growing minds. I am a graduate student, with flexible availability between Saturday to Tuesday, during my off days, when I’ll be studying from home, often lounging and relaxing in my space. Having a pet to look after, feed and care for would not only be a very welcomed time commitment, but would make my space feel even more homely and bring me joy. About: I got my first dog when I was in 6th grade and he was a shitzu. He was the calmest dog I ever had and people told me he kind of resembled me. That was 14 years ago and I have learned a lot of patience, love, and care throughout that time. After he passed 6 years ago, I’ve continued to love animals through fostering (longest was 2 months) and dog sitting both short term and long term. While your pet stays in my home overnight, I will give all my attention to whatever needs they have. I will play with your dog as if they were my own because that is how much I I love them. My special skill is that I am patient with pretty much everything I do so when it comes to your pets, I will keep a cool head when things get “hairy”. I am currently working part time and will have plenty of time to give them attention and company. Throughout the stay, he kept me updated with messages and videos, so I always knew how my dog was doing. It was clear that he genuinely cared for my dog, taking him on walks, paying attention to his behavior, and treating him like one of his own. His communication was excellent before, during, and after the booking, and he was always friendly. Eeyore came home happy, relaxed, and well cared for. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience, especially on such short notice during a busy holiday weekend. I highly recommend Charles to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, caring, and dependable to watch their pet. I will definitely be booking with him again!”

“Janniqua and Steven are absolutely fantastic! We had a bit of a last-minute boarding request, and they kindly welcomed us over for a meet and greet. It really put our minds at ease about leaving our dog. Our pup is quite the picky eater, so getting him to eat can be quite a challenge. They went above and beyond to ensure he ate well and took his medicine. They communicated with us and kept us in the loop about anything that popped up. When we picked him up, he looked so happy and relaxed — a complete contrast to our experiences at our pups boarding facilities. We will definitely be using them again…if they will have him back. 😅”
