About: I got my first dog when I was in 6th grade and he was a shitzu. He was the calmest dog I ever had and people told me he kind of resembled me. That was 14 years ago and I have learned a lot of patience, love, and care throughout that time. After he passed 6 years ago, I’ve continued to love animals through fostering (longest was 2 months) and dog sitting both short term and long term. While your pet stays in my home overnight, I will give all my attention to whatever needs they have. I will play with your dog as if they were my own because that is how much I I love them. My special skill is that I am patient with pretty much everything I do so when it comes to your pets, I will keep a cool head when things get “hairy”. I am currently working part time and will have plenty of time to give them attention and company. I also live in a dog friendly neighborhood with plenty of walking trails that will be perfect to explore! I try my best to treat all pets as if they were my own. About: I've grown up around animals my whole life, so taking care of pets has always been second nature to me. We always had three cats and a dog at home, so I'm used to everything from daily walks and feeding to playtime, cuddles, and cleaning up the occasional mess. I needed more than a boarding option, I needed a family to care for my dog while I had to be out of town. That is what Kallee and Daniel provided, a family that loved her while I was gone. They went beyond what a boarding facility could offer and personally cared for my dog while she went through separation anxiety and missing her family. Sailor became the older sibling she needed and I received not only daily communication but updates and responses as I was going through my own separation issues from her. I couldn't have asked for a better home for my dog to be in while I was away. Their home is a perfect place for an active dog and they are the perfect family to care for an energetic dog especially one who needs support to come out of her shell while her family is away. I currently am blessed with a beautiful domestic long hair cat named Misty that has extra grooming needs and requires extensive daily brushing. My professional lifestyle allows me plenty of available time to meet the needs of any unique or variable schedules for both my own and your pets sitting and walking needs. I’m an experienced dog walker and actively engage with animals to keep their attention and gain their trust. For cats I groom and brush daily as well as reinforce positive behavior through praise training.
