I was sad about leaving her, but it made it a lot easier knowing she was in a home environment (as opposed to a kennel) with another dog as a buddy and two people who were going to walk her and tire her out and give her lots of pets and attention. Libby doesn’t need to be crated at night or when you leave the house, and Amanda and Naveen let her have the run of the place and choose where she wanted to sleep. Libby unfortunately had issues with throwing up when she drinks water too fast and they handled those incidents without an issue. Amanda and Naveen also accommodated a last-minute schedule change when plans for my trip changed, which I greatly appreciated.”

Now, our family includes Moose, our sweet toy poodle, and three adorable guinea pigs. We prioritize the health and well-being of our pets. My husband even built a large custom cage to give our guinea pigs plenty of space and comfort. Moose, who completed three obedience classes as a puppy, is gentle, loving, and well-behaved. We both work from home, so we spend a lot of time with our pets and have a lot of experience administering oral medication and caring for dogs with special needs. After moving from Pennsylvania to Florida three months ago, Moose has missed his old friends, so we’re excited to help him make new ones. Our neighborhood features a nice dog park, walking trails, and sidewalks, and we also have a small fenced yard for safe outdoor play. We’ll pamper your pup just as we do with our own pets. We can’t wait to meet you, and Moose is ready to make new friends! We both work from home, but we do have meetings during the day. Before we get to my experience, I just want to mention that I am wheelchair bound, so I prefer to stick to walking smaller dogs unless they are well-mannered on a leash! The size of animal is not a concern if a walk is not a requirement! For drop ins, it would require a mostly accessible entrance into the home. I can do a single small step, but otherwise zero-entry would be the most ideal! I have worked alongside a dog trainer who also offers boarding services for the past 4 years, I have volunteered for many animal shelters, including Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for 2 years, I have been training my own dogs for the past 14 years, including training my current service dog, and I have previously shadowed veterinarians in a clinic environment. I absolutely love both dogs and cats, and I can assure you that they will be in great hands! I truly can’t wait to get in touch with you and meet your fur baby!! I currently work a part-time job, but often get scheduled full-time hours. I usually work between the hours of 8 and 6:30, so I can do night checks on my work days. My guaranteed days off are Monday and Tuesday, and I could complete as many drop ins as needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy! I want to make sure that your baby stays comfortable, especially with a stranger coming into the home. I am very well versed on animal behaviour and body language, so I will never rush or force an interaction. I plan to follow the same schedule that you would as an owner, so that their schedule remains the same, even without a family member present. I do have dogs of my own 2 small beagles they are supper friendly with any other breed and size of dog. Since i have been around dogs ever since i was little I do have quite a bit of knowledge on dealing with many different dogs and any needs they could have, also including a lot of patience always no matter the situation. I was sad about leaving her, but it made it a lot easier knowing she was in a home environment (as opposed to a kennel) with another dog as a buddy and two people who were going to walk her and tire her out and give her lots of pets and attention. Libby doesn’t need to be crated at night or when you leave the house, and Amanda and Naveen let her have the run of the place and choose where she wanted to sleep. Libby unfortunately had issues with throwing up when she drinks water too fast and they handled those incidents without an issue. Amanda and Naveen also accommodated a last-minute schedule change when plans for my trip changed, which I greatly appreciated.”

About: I have had dogs and cats my whole life. I dedicate as much time as possible with my babies. We have so little time with them and we are all they have. I will always spoil and love my pets with everything I have. I work full time at a theme park but have organized my schedule to optimize my time home. I can also adapt and change schedule throughout the seasons. I have protected my home to keep dogs downstairs so there is a separation between the levels of the house. Their toys and spaces are sanitized especially when brining a new puppy home in summer 2025. I keep up with house care to combat the fur and love a cuddle puddle on our massive couch. All food is inaccessible and have options to let them play in areas around the house inside and out.
