“This was our 1st time leaving Dodger with anyone other than family and our 1st time booking thru Rover. Our Dodger has some issues with trust/anxiety of strangers so I wasn't sure if this was going to work or not, but when I messaged Ginni and Tom and explained the concern they were more than willing to give it a try. Ginni reassured us that they have taken care of other dogs with the same issues and so we set up a meet and greet a couple days before the actual booking date. From the 1st moment we met Ginni and Tom I had a good feeling about them and their house and yard. They were so welcoming and made Dodger feel so relaxed. He played in their fenced in backyard for a bit then went inside the house where we visited in the living room. Dodger even snuggled up to Ginni while we chatted. We booked for 3 nights and they were so accommodating to our (somewhat picky) miniature schnauzer. I received photos and updates once a day and that really put my mind at ease. I would highly recommend Ginni and Tom and we will be booking again with them.”

About: I've taken car of dogs my whole life! We have always had at least one dog in our house. Growing up my family was a very dog oriented house we had rat terriers, shih tuzs, schaunzer, golden retriever. Right now my family back at home has a couple of dogs from the shelter a beagle named Nikki, a yorkie/jack Russell mix named Bob and a cute one eyed shih tzu named Dee. Ever since I was old enough I was the one who trained our dogs. I taught them how to be potty trained, how to stay in the yard, as well as cute tricks. Bob is the best at this he even can play dead dramatically by walking around and rolling onto his belly after some dramatics. Since my family has always had shelter dogs we have had puppies all the way to mature dogs. I have learned through experience how to deal with many different types of dogs who have had many different personalities. I also had experience of giving our different dogs different medications on schedule. I miss my dogs at home and can't wait to give your pup lots of love and attention! I work from home part time and am a gig worker. I am home a majority of the time besides a little bit of errand running and when I have gigs. I'm pretty flexible and have lots of free time for walks, belly rubs, playtime and anything else your pup wants. I live in a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom luxury apartment that has a special pet area on site. I moved down to Florida six years ago and my dogs stayed with my family and I miss them a ton. This has been the first time in my life that I haven't had a dog, I was in college and didn't have the proper amount of time to devote to one. Now I'm graduated and work mainly from home so I have lots of time and love to give to your special pet.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life- growing up, our family dogs always slept in my room, played hide and seek with me, and I've always been the one naturally drawn to caring for and protecting animals that crossed my path. I currently have my own furry kid, a Shih Tzu/ Bichon mix with a pink tail, so daily walks, feeding/ potty routines, playtime, and lots of love is my joy, my connection with my soulful self. I was a schoolteacher for 8 years, elementary and middle school. I'm patient, attentive, kind, and treat every pet like I'd want a human to treat my baby. I'm comfortable with puppy care, the frequent potty schedule, supervision, and playtime. I'm also comfortable caring for senior dogs (as my Boston terrier lived beautifully until the age of 15). Taking extra time on walks, giving meds, making sure they feel safe and comfy, just how I'd hope someone would care for me and/or Madi. I think I'm unique in the way that I see that every dog just like all of my former students, they're all different. They each have their own little mind filled with thoughts in their own little world. The kids and 4 legged kids, they need the same individualized care and attention, and also to feel accepted and understood. I run a small truckling company which allows me to have pretty flexible hours during the day, which is why I decided to get on Rover. Madi and I are pretty routine, as we prefer less chaos lol. About: I’ve had all kinds of pets growing up through childhood, always had dogs and cats especially. Worked at a vet clinic for 2 years, loved it and miss it. About: I recently moved near Lake Eola, so I’m a new local! About a year ago, I lost my sweet pup and while I’m not quite ready to open my heart to getting another dog of my own, I’ve realized just how much I miss the little things 🥺 seeing tails wag when I walk through the door, the smell of Frito paws and somehow always finding fur stuck to my clothes. I’d love the opportunity to pour that love and care into your fur babies. Truthfully, I’m not doing this because I need to.. I simply miss being around dogs and all the joy they bring. Becoming a dog walker and sitter feels like the perfect way to reconnect with that part of my heart while giving your pup the attention, belly rubs, affection, and care I gave my own. My goal is simple: to love and care for your pup as if they were my own 🤍🐾 Pet care fits very naturally into my routine because I currently work on weekends, which means my weekdays are very open and flexible. I know many people have busy 9–5 schedules, long days and unexpected things coming up so my availability makes life a little easier. Living in a building myself, I understand that apartment living with a pet can sometimes mean extra trips downstairs, rushing home during lunch breaks, or trying to squeeze walks into an already busy day. I’m willing and able to help with walks, potty breaks, playtime, and making sure your pup gets the attention and care they need while you’re away 😊 Every dog has their own personality, routine, schedule and comfort level so I want to make sure every pet parent feels secure and confident when letting me sit or walk. I’m big on following instructions because I understand the consequences that come with negligence. I can handle feeding schedules, medications, crate preferences, potty routines etc! I also believe safety goes both ways. I’d love to know about any previous aggression, fears, triggers, anxieties, or behaviors I should be aware of beforehand so I can take any extra precautions needed and approach your pup with patience, understanding, and care. Every dog deserves to feel safe and comfortable, and knowing these things helps create the best experience for both of us 🐕🦺
