About: From cats and dogs to goats, I have had the pleasure of caring for many animals in my lifetime. I currently have three cats in my home and would love to pet sit more fur friends in my free time. I am kind and patient with all pets and temperaments. About: I got my first dog when I was in 6th grade and he was a shitzu. He was the calmest dog I ever had and people told me he kind of resembled me. That was 14 years ago and I have learned a lot of patience, love, and care throughout that time. After he passed 6 years ago, I’ve continued to love animals through fostering (longest was 2 months) and dog sitting both short term and long term. While your pet stays in my home overnight, I will give all my attention to whatever needs they have. I will play with your dog as if they were my own because that is how much I I love them. My special skill is that I am patient with pretty much everything I do so when it comes to your pets, I will keep a cool head when things get “hairy”. I am currently working part time and will have plenty of time to give them attention and company. I also live in a dog friendly neighborhood with plenty of walking trails that will be perfect to explore! I try my best to treat all pets as if they were my own. About: Beginning in childhood, I’ve had several dog breeds (over 20!) that I’ve been tasked to take care of, play with, keep healthy and whose needs I’ve grown to pay attention to and understand. I adore animals and I approach them gently and mindfully, always considering what support will help prolong their lifespan and keep them happy, yet trained and behaved. My friends and family often call on me to either keep their pets company, train or housesit them, and I’m always more than happy to spend time with their animals. Having a pet to look after, feed and care for would not only be a very welcomed time commitment, but would make my space feel even more homely and bring me joy. I have enough time to play with dogs, pay attention to their unique needs and keep them active and joyful, or to simply accompany them while they rest and rejuvenate. I have a spacious apartment and a shaded dog park within my apartment community, as well as a dog wash corner next to the park - helpful during hot days in Florida. I am extremely mindful towards any pet staying with me, and provide them with a comfortable, safe and cooled space, in which I am committed to staying aware of their habits, likes and dislikes, and learning to understand their groove. There are several areas for them to use the bathroom outside, take a walk within the apartment community, as well as designated pee pads inside the apartment. I am happy to be in touch with the clients as often as needed, to help them feel at ease about letting their little one stay with someone new. I care about building trust with a dog, and taking the time to grow our bond, so they can be at ease in their surroundings and reduce any anxiety from a new environment.

About: My husband and I live in SoDo next to Lake Davis which has a wonderful walking path, wildlife and lots of neighbors walking their own dogs. We have two mini dachshunds named porter and Barley, and we love our fur children. We have a big, fenced-in backyard for zoomies. About: I've grown up around animals my whole life, so taking care of pets has always been second nature to me. We always had three cats and a dog at home, so I'm used to everything from daily walks and feeding to playtime, cuddles, and cleaning up the occasional mess. I've also pet sat for friends' dogs while they were away, making sure they stayed on their normal routine and got plenty of exercise, attention, and love. I know every pet is different, and I always try to make them feel as comfortable as possible while their owners are gone. Something really special for me is helping my mom care for foster puppy litters. I currently work full-time four days a week, which gives me a consistent schedule. On my workdays, I'm available for morning and evening walks, drop-in visits, and feedings before and after work. My days off are typically Tuesday through Thursday, so I have much more flexibility for multiple walks, drop-in visits, extended playtime, or spending extra time with your pets throughout the day. No matter what day it is, I'll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and love while you're away. I'm also happy to work with your pet's normal routine whenever possible! I know every pet has their own routine, and I do my best to stick to it so they feel as comfortable as possible while you're away. About: I grew up caring for multiple large dogs and cats simultaneously. One of the two labs required extra care as he lost a rear limb when he was a puppy. I currently am blessed with a beautiful domestic long hair cat named Misty that has extra grooming needs and requires extensive daily brushing. My professional lifestyle allows me plenty of available time to meet the needs of any unique or variable schedules for both my own and your pets sitting and walking needs. I’m an experienced dog walker and actively engage with animals to keep their attention and gain their trust. For cats I groom and brush daily as well as reinforce positive behavior through praise training.
