About: I’ve taken care of friends and family dogs and cats previously and have helped raise and train my flat mates puppy. I work from home Tuesdays and Fridays so can be flexible (including weekends). I have a small ground floor flat but able to provide toilet breaks as much as needed and walks before and after work and at lunch time if needed! About: I have a senior German Shepherd at home and understand the adjustments that need to be made for each dog, they have their unique personalities and necessities, so I like to be with dogs on their and their parents/owners' terms. I have helped friends with dog walking, I always like to take them out on walks with a focus on balancing the mental (sniffing around) and physical exercise they get. Daria was lovely with our cat and really patient with him, which we appreciated because he can take a little time to warm up to people. I was really happy with the care Sarah gave my cat! She kept me regularly updated, which gave me real peace of mind while I was away. She spent lots of time playing with my cat, who is normally quite shy but seemed to really warm to her. Our cat is usually pretty nervous/defensive around unfamiliar people, but Hannah is so good at giving her the time and space she needed to stay comfortable during visits. At first our cat would hide under the bed, but after a few days Hannah would send pics of her playing/relaxing with her. So happy with Hannah’s care of our cat will definitely be booking again!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ MayMay was fantastic, Sheridan is smitten. MayMay looked after Sheridan with two drop-ins a day while we were away, and she was excellent from start to finish. She was organised from the first message. She sent a clear recap of Sheridan's routine, asked sensible questions about food, litter and where things were kept, and arranged the key handover easily. She was also flexible and reloable with regard to visit times. Communication was the real standout. Every visit came with a flood of photos and videos, and every evening a detailed written update covering what he ate, litter checks, how he was behaving, and confirmation that he was safe and the door locked. It felt like we were there with him. Her updates were funny and observant too, capturing Sheridan's personality perfectly (the paw-tapping to hurry up dinner, the "no treat, don't touch me" mood swings, the "sentry duty" around the flat). Sheridan can be a bit shy and doesn't like being picked up. MayMay let him come to her, worked out that he loves a massage and a comb, hand-fed him his pâté the way he likes it, and played with him. By the second day he was greeting her at the door, meowing helll, and following her around the flat. On her last visit she stayed longer just to play with him, then returned the keys through the letterbox as arranged. I suspect it was only "goodbye for now" between her and Sheridan. MayMay is clearly gifted with animals; we actually learned a lot just from watching her video reports. In summary, Sheridan's happy and I would recommend MayMay without hesitation.
We’re really happy with how well Rhianna looked after our boy Pecorino. He’s very shy around new humans, but she was very patient, gave him the time and space he needed. She followed all instructions and even took in a few unexpected parcels for us! We fully expected to come home to an annoyed Pecorino for leaving him, but instead we came back to a very happy boy who was pleased to see us — always a good sign! We’d happily have her look after Pecorino again. Thank you for taking such good care of him!
Josie did a wonderful job taking care of our two cats, really cannot recommend her enough. The cats were very comfortable with her, she was thorough with the care routine, and an excellent cat photographer to boot. We can sometimes be very nervous going away, but felt zero nerves with the cats in Josie's care.
Lucia was absolutely wonderful, she took great care of our cat whilst we were away for a few days. She took time to get to know her and her routine each time she would visit and that was clear by her daily updates and photos she would share. I'm sure we'll be reaching out to her again in the future :)
