About: I’ve always had a family dog but since moving back into my flat I’m not able to have one of my own just yet. I often keep my mums cockapoo (Fergie) and I love dogs in general. They are the best company for walks and cuddling up on the couch. I understand not all dogs are the same and I find it rewarding creating a calm environment for them whilst their family is away. I work in a dog friendly hair salon so they would be welcome to come in with me on days that I am working, if that suited them. I work for myself so I have gaps in my diary after every client to take them for a spin around the meadows and a designated lunch break. I have a strong understanding of being able to read a dog and keeping them safe and happy is my main focus! I’m currently only working 3-4 days per week in a dog friendly salon. All dogs are welcome! I have plenty time to walk dogs in between clients as I work for myself. My mums dog Fergie is allowed wherever she pleases in my house but I’m am strict when it comes to bed time that they know where they are sleeping. Be that in the livingroom on the couch or in our room in thier bed. Sometimes I give in to them sleeping with me but I know we all get a better sleep in our own beds

About: I have been around animals my whole life, with most of my experience caring for cats. I’m naturally patient, caring and attentive, and I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. I love giving animals plenty of attention, affection and companionship while making sure they feel safe and comfortable. I’m responsible and dependable, and I’ll treat your pets as if they were my own. I work full time as an English teacher so I would be able to pet sit on Friday afternoons, from about 3pm and over the weekends, when I will have all the time to lavish your pets as though they were my own. I have a safe and comfortable flat in the heart of Edinburgh. I have a small fenced garden and am just a short walk from the Leith links, so plenty of green space nearby to stretch legs and get fresh air!

“Amy was a perfect carer for Luna. She made her at home in her lovely flat by the sea, took Luna for walks by the seafront and gave her lots of love and cuddles. She also let her on the sofa and her bed. Luna had a lovely week with Amy and I would highly recommend her. Amy sent lots of regular updates of Luna with photos and videos throughout lunas stay, she looked very happy I actually wondered if she would want to come home at all.”

Communication was fantastic from start to finish, and the kids loved receiving daily photos and updates while the dogs were on their holidays. Amy was also amazing at accommodating us at such short notice, which we really appreciated, especially with one of our dogs being a pup. About: I have had many dogs and cats throughout my life, I have cats and dogs at the same time, multiple at once I love pers I am currently in university taking only two clases per week, so I have a really open schedule throughout the week, I am available always. I treat the pets very well, never forget their eating times and walks in the park. I am very organized and efficient with pets also

About: I’ve had dogs in the family since I was young. I also have 5 + years of dog sitting experience. Ranging from daycare to several weeks holiday care. I also have had experience volunteering at a dog grooming shop where I helped look after the dogs there. Celeste took great care of Oddie! There were some difficulties initially with communication due to phone issues but it was resolved and I was able to get regular updates from Celeste. Oddie takes time to trust and is generally wary of strangers but he took to Celeste immediately. Celeste and her children and Shinga were very understanding and patient with Oddie, and they gave him alot of love. I can tell that Oddie had a very happy stay when I picked him up! He was definitely well loved by Celeste and her family. Thank you again for helping us to look after Oddie! ☺️
Nicole was amazing with Boulette! As it was my first time leaving her alone at only 4 months, I was a bit apprehensive but Nicole was able to completely reassure me on our meet&greet, so that I fully trusted her and felt comfortable with Boulette staying there for two nights! I’ve already planned to book again with Nicole for another overnight stay when I’m next away with work.
Iona and Gregor were absolutely amazing with our nervous English Cocker Spaniel. They cared for Tali while we were on a family trip to Edinburgh and due to where we live we weren't able to meet in person before hand. Iona and Gregor made themselves available to video call us beforehand to answer any questions we had, and they did amazingly to settle Tali in and make her comfortable once we dropped her off. Tali takes a while to warm up to new people, however, by the end of her stay she was demanding kisses and cuddles! We received regular updates and photos throughout and it genuinely felt like a holiday for Tali! Thank you so much for you help and care for Tali over the weekend. I don't think she wanted to come home!
Our cockapoo had a wonderful time with Parth and his wife, and we felt very confident in their care of him when we were away for a long weekend. They looked after him very conscientiously, including dispensing various medications, and sent us many photos of a happy dog! Highly recommended.
Mabel loved her stay with Flora. She was very content in her flat and Flora took her on some lovely countryside walks, as well as all being really handy for all the Stockbridge parks. She had great comms and updates and was very flexible for pickup and drop off etc. I would recommend Flora and will definitely look to book her again!
Rachel looked after our dog for three nights. She could not have been more helpful in looking after our cocker spaniel and really went above and beyond, collecting and dropping her off which was a huge help. She was very easy to communicate with and reliable. I would highly recommend her as a dog sitter.

Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12.00 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our booking protection will kick in. This means you'll get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
