“Very happy that we chose Margaret to look after Mouse. She was great with him, sent updated messages and photos. We would definitely recommend and will use Margaret again in the future 👍”

“Our Lola was so happy with Aroa! Aroa sent us daily updates on how Lola was doing, which gave us great peace of mind. We felt relieved knowing Lola was in such good hands. Highly recommend Aroa to everyone!”

“Isabelle kept us updated with photos and messages on how Ember was getting on. She clearly loved her and looked after her great. We had one very tired out, happy pup to come home too. Thank you so much!”

“Sammy had the time of his life staying with Kasia and her partner! They took such great care of him, giving him plenty of love, walks, and even spoiling him a bit. They sent lots of reassuring messages, pictures and even videos of how he was doing. Think we also made a friend too. So lucky to have found Kasia via the Rover App. It was such a relief knowing he was in such good hands. Highly recommend!”
“Avril was extremely attentive and quick to respond. She also sent a lot of photos and it seemed like Ozzy had a lot of fun. I would certainly recommend Avril to another pet owner!”

“Chloe is an absolute gem. From the moment she met my dog, I could tell she genuinely loves animals. She kept me updated with photos and messages throughout the stay, which gave me such peace of mind. After a full week, my dog came home happy, relaxed and well-cared-for. I couldn't recommend Chloe more. She's our go-to sitter from here on out!”

“What a wonderful family to have trusted our boy with. From the moment I met them prior to the booking to the moment he was dropped off, I knew he’d be safe and happy. Lots of dog caring knowledge, and not just the playful stuff - they know how to read and anticipate, too. Patrice was so well looked after, even down to being given a paddling pool to cool his paws if needed in the hot sun. While we rarely need sitters for Patrice, it’s great to know this is an option! Thank you Pamela and Walter 😊🐾”

“I couldn't be more thrilled with the experience! From the moment I dropped Phoenix off, I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such capable and caring hands. Charlyn went above and beyond to keep me updated throughout the day. I received frequent updates, photos, and messages, all of which showed Phoenix having the time of her life. It was clear that Charlyn not only took excellent care of her but also made sure she was happy and comfortable. Phoenix seemed so joyful and relaxed in all the photos, and it was evident that she bonded well with Charlyn. Her genuine love for dogs shines through in the way she interacts with them, and I am grateful for the attentive and loving care she provided. I highly recommend Charlyn to anyone looking for a trustworthy and dedicated dog carer. She truly exceeded my expectations, and I will definitely be returning for her services in the future. Thank you, Charlyn, for making Phoenix's day so special!”

“Maria looked after our dog, Monty, whilst we were away for a few days. Monty has a great time and loved the company. We'd definitely recommend Maria if needing a dog sitter in Edinburgh!”

About: I’m graduating in June with degrees in Veterinary Medicine. I’ve worked as a veterinary nurse in several clinics. I have lots of hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats, including senior pets, nervous pets and administering medications. I’m confident handling daily routines, recognising when something is wrong and responding calmly in emergencies. I genuinely love animals and always make sure pets feel safe, comfortable and cared for while their owners are away. I’ve had many happy clients and great feedback for being reliable, attentive and trustworthy. I am currently waiting to graduate and will be starting my new job in August, so I have plenty of free time and flexibility at the moment. I would love to spend that time helping care for your beloved pets and making sure they feel happy, safe and well looked after while you are away. I live in the centre of Edinburgh near The Meadows, a perfect area for walks and playtime. I have a spacious pet-friendly apartment where your pet will feel safe, comfortable and loved, with plenty of attention, cuddles and gentle care throughout the day.
“Kirsty looked after our two labs overnight when we were holidaying in Edinburgh, to let us attend an event. Kirsty was a fantastic sitter who the girls loved. She kept us updated and sent photos. We would definitely ask Kirsty to look after our girls again! Thank you 🐾”

“Tilly had a great time with Gillian, on one of the wettest days of the year she got some lovely walks and cosied at her house. Gillian is so lovely and I would highly recommend her and Tilly wants to know when she can see her again. 😊”

About: Hi, my preferred name is Annie! I’m a second-year veterinary student at the University of Edinburgh. Through my studies, I’ve received dog and cat handling training and successfully completed all required animal handling assessments. I’ve also volunteered at kennels, catteries, animal shelters, and small animal clinics across the UK, Hong Kong, and Macau. In addition, I’ve been caring for my own pet for the past eight years in Macau. I’m very passionate about animal welfare and love spending time with animals. I’d be excited to use my knowledge and experience to provide safe, caring, and reliable support for your pets!! I’m currently a full-time student at the University of Edinburgh, but uni is finished for me until September now, so I’m mostly free. Feel free to contact me and we can definitely see what works! I will make sure to follow all the guidelines that you have given to me. I can take ur pets to go on walks around 3 times per day. The duration/ frequency of the walks can be adjusted due to their age and the owner’s preference. Feed and give treats according to how your pet is used to. I can easily crated your pet if you require too. I will make sure your pets not only receive exercise from the walk, but also play with them at home!

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, especially dogs, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. I have experience with different types of pets and a wide range of temperaments, and I’m known for being patient, attentive, and gentle. Back in my home country, I have two Border Collies, so I’m very comfortable handling high-energy dogs and making sure they get the exercise, stimulation, and care they need. For me, this is not just a job — it’s something I truly enjoy. I love building a connection with animals, understanding their personalities, and making them feel safe, happy, and loved while they’re in my care I’m an international student with a flexible schedule, which allows me to organize my time well for pet care. I’m available on weekdays and weekends for walks and drop-in visits. I enjoy going to the park and keeping dogs active through play and exercise. I can also adapt to each pet’s routine to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy. I make sure to provide a safe and calm environment for every pet. I’m responsible and attentive, and I always follow the owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walks, and any special care. I enjoy spending quality time with animals, giving them attention and companionship. During walks, I prioritize safety by using a leash, avoiding risky situations, and always paying close attention to their behavior.
“Claire was absolutely fantastic looking after Millie at short notice when we booked a last minute holiday! She worked around Millie’s strict diet due to being diabetic and handled her insulin injections like a champ. Will definitely be booking with Claire again and would 100% recommend.”

Edinburgh pet owners share their Rover experiences
Michaela and Keryn looked after Nara for 4 nights while we were on holiday. They were great at keeping in contact with me, providing updates on how Nara was getting on and sending lovely pictures. They were really brilliant with Nara, they took her out to the park multiple times for a run around with her toy stick and kept her cool during the unexpected heat wave. They both have lots of experience caring for dogs and I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a superb dog sitter. Nara will be very excited to see them again soon!

We left our dog, Batou, with Dolly for 5 days and couldn’t be happier with the experience. She sent us daily photos and updates about what they had been doing, which gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Dolly was always friendly, responsive, and very easy to communicate with. From the photos, it was clear how much Batou enjoyed spending time with her and her partner. They are both lovely, kind people who genuinely care about dogs and make them feel comfortable and happy. We had a wonderful experience and would absolutely book with Dolly again for our next trip. Highly recommended!

As always, Nicole was thoughtful and took great care of little Amber, who settled in very quickly for her overnight stay. While there I also asked Nicole to give Amber a nice short summer cut, which she did beautifully, sorted out some matting which had happened on her very fine fluffy hairs around her face as well as creating a very accurate shaping to suit her poodle side 🐩 with a beautifully shaped pompom tail

Tara was such a happy and engaging young lady and easy to tell from day 1 that she was a lover of animals and that put my mind at ease. She looked after my boy for a week and was hugely accomodating in terms of drop off and pick up times. She really looked after him well and pictures provided of all the cuddles he was giving and getting. She would be my go to person for looking after my dog and i couldnt recommend her highly enough. You can leave your pet in her care with confidence they will be well looked after.

Jessica was absolutely lovely and very reliable. I could relax with peace of mind and got plenty of updates. Roxy has a heart condition so it isn’t easy to leave her with anyone but it felt safe to leave her with Jessica and everything that was advised regards Roxy and her routine was taken on board. We hope to be able to use Jessica for dog boarding again. :)

Sammie and her partner were absolutely incredible sitters for my quirky dog Fin. Sammie was super responsive, easy to communicate with and was so patient with all my instructions for Fin. She sent me regular updates and I could see Fin was super comfortable in their flat with them. I’d recommend them any day and am already planning on rebooking with them for next weekend!

Erin was amazing with our mini schnauzer Max! He definitely has separation anxiety when we leave him, and she kept us updated on how he was doing with photos and videos making us feel so comfortable leaving him. Would absolutely recommend her and Sam and would absolutely have them watch Max again!

Jasper loved his time with Deborah, he was very well cared for and we loved receiving daily updates and photos. It looked like he had lots of fun on his walks and at the beach. It was great knowing he was in good hands while we were away. We’d definitely book with Deborah again and would happily recommend to others.

We’re so glad to have found Sylva. This was our first time leaving Murphy with anyone, and we were obviously nervous about it. However Sylva was great with Murphy. They seemed to hit it off instantly, and, to be honest, I think he would have happily stayed with her a lot longer. She sent lots of photos and messages during his stay, letting us know how he got on. All in all, Sylva will be our go-to for any future booking. Thanks again.

Mochi stayed with Freya for over 2 weeks while we went on holiday. This is the first time she’s ever stayed away from home and she had the best time! We got frequent updates and photos to put our mind at ease and Mochi was always so happy. Thank you Freya! We will definitely use your services again! 5* xx
