“Feng was amazing with my chihuahuas. He would make sure they had food and water and a walk. He would always go out of his way to make sure they are ok. Feng is always my first choice ❤️ He is true animal lover ⭐️”
About: I grew up regularly looking after pets for my family, friends and neighbours and I understand that a pet is part of the family and how important it is to know that they are safe and happy when you are away. I have been petsitting through Rover for over 4 years now and, and off Rover for 8 years, and trust, communication and high quality care are at the centre of the service I provide. As a cat owner, to a sweet (and sassy) British Shorthair called Lola, I totally understand the value of finding a sitter who you can trust, and I aim provide the same care for your furry friends that we would expect for Lola. I have experience looking after a range of breeds, temperaments, older pets and pets with specific needs and am happy to have a chat during our meet and greet to discuss any specific routines or needs. I am currently sitting through Rover full time and have plenty of time to provide the best possible care that I can for your dog or cat! I am currently sitting through Rover full-time, meaning I have plenty of flexibility and time to provide the best possible care for your dog or cat! Please let me know of any specific requirements your pet has and I will make sure to keep them to their routine while you are away! Please also note, I have just returned from a 6 month trip and so some of my stats such as “response rate” and “photo updates” are not accurate as my account was inactive while I was away. I will always be as responsive as I can be and always send lots of photo updates ☺️ I understand that letting someone into your home requires lots of trust and I am committed to ensuring you feel that your home and environment is respected during my stay. As someone who also uses Rover as an owner, I understand the importance of feeling like your home is in good, safe hands and feeling confident that you will come home to your home as you left it and a happy, well looked after pet.
“Annie was really professional in her communications and very attentive. She instantly bonded with Daisy and managed Daisy's little quirks brilliantly. Daisy and I were both very happy. I would highly recommend Annie.”

About: Hi, I’m MayMay! I speak English 🇬🇧, Cantonese 🇭🇰, Mandarin 🇨🇳🇹🇼, & a bit of Korean 🇰🇷. I’m currently pet-sitting to support my goal of raising £12,000 for gem & diamond school, so every booking helps me chase my dream while giving your pet loving care! I’m originally from Hong Kong and grew up surrounded by dogs 😆. I’ve been living with them since I was 2, and back home I have a much-loved Shih Tzu, Cookie, who taught me so much about patience, routines, and understanding each animal’s personality. I moved to the UK for my studies and, 1.5 years ago, followed my childhood dream by immigrating here. I’m now based in Edinburgh long-term, so you can count on reliable, consistent, and caring support for your pet. I make sure to follow your pet’s routine, give attention and playtime suited to their personality, and send updates so you can relax knowing they’re happy and safe. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your pet like family and give you peace of mind while you’re away, send me a message now 🐾 I currently work part-time in retail (8 hours a week)😇, so I have plenty of flexibility throughout the week. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine, whether that’s early mornings, evenings, or daytime visits 🐾💕 I’ll always follow your pet’s routine and any instructions you leave, from feeding and walks to medication and home care. You’ll receive updates when I arrive and before I leave, along with photos and a summary of how the visit went, so you always know how your pet is doing 🥰
“Ciara was incredible at jumping in with Otto for a first time dog walk, asking great questions and taking him on a great walk sharing photos along the way. I’m very grateful to Ciara for looking after our dog and I’m thrilled we’ve found someone to help out with our dog who definitely is a character! Highly recommend.”

“Freddie appeared to have enjoyed his time with Sophie: this was apparent by the welcome she received on her arrival the second and third days. Sophie is very pleasant, arrived on time and has a relaxed but confident way with dogs.”

“I always feel my dog is in great hands with Rebecca! I'm requested walks from Rebecca multiple times and each time she leaves very detailed notes and takes lots of great pictures. Will definitely continue to keep working with her!”

“Came back from holiday to a very happy doggie, He got on really well with Sarah, She took such good care of him and took him walkies around all the areas he knows and some different ones. Highly recommended, We'll be booking future dates ❤️”

About: I grew up with dogs in my family, caring for them is second nature to me! Having moved away from home I miss connecting and spending time with dogs, so would love to spend some quality time with your pets, either for a drop-in visit, a walk around sunny Edinburgh or to have them stay overnight! I currently work full-time having completed my studies, but on a hybrid schedule so I can be flexible to your needs on my days working from home! I will typically have most availability in the evenings and weekends. In my current home I have no pets, and live in the city centre with great transport links, so it would likely be a short journey for a drop-in visit or dog walk!
“Thank you, Eilis! What a pleasant experience (for both Scottie and me) - it really gave me peace of mind, knowing that she felt safe and happy with you. Your feedback and photos made me feel like I did not miss out on any of the action, thank you for that. Looking forward to meeting you again.”

About: My family have had dogs my entire life, all of which have been such special characters! My last dog was particularly special, having had her for 15+ years. Miss having the opportunity to look after her whenever I wish! I'd regularly look after her when my parents went away. Often I'd keep her for months at my flat as we both loved each others company. I'm very active and love going for walks so if you're dog is particularly energetic, we'll just have to go for a long walk, won't we! I'm currently a student so I'm available from Friday (12:30/13:00) right through the weekend to look after your dog(s). My partner (who I live with) loves dogs too and works from home during the week in case you need a little more flexibility around pick-up/drop-off timings; he's always happy to help out! Our flat does not have a garden and is two floors up. It's a spacious flat however and I'd take them out for walks regularly, depending on their needs. If your dog struggles with stairs and is not too large, I can pick them up as I used to do with my old dog who was a collie spaniel cross.
About: I’ve raised and taken care of foster dogs since I was a teen. I’ve recently moved to Edinburgh and I am keen to care for other people’s pups and explore the city on walks I work from home and able to be flexible with walk times and day care. I love to walk around Edinburgh and have access to a private garden to let the pups run around I’m gentle, calm and love to care for dogs. I believe calmness and making pups feel safe, is the key to ensuring good behaviour

“Leah has been absolutely amazing with Benji. From the very beginning, she’s been patient, reliable, and clearly genuinely cares about the dogs she works with. Benji can definitely be a handful—especially going through his teenage phase—but she’s handled him so well and has been incredibly understanding and consistent with him. It honestly says everything that he gets so excited every time he sees her. You can tell he really trusts her and enjoys their time together, which gives me so much peace of mind. Leah is also fantastic with communication—always keeping me updated and sending lovely photos, which I really appreciate. And Benji is always thrilled with the little treats she brings along! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Leah to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and experienced dog walker. She’s been such a positive part of Benji’s routine 🐾”

“Anna has been fantastic! She has been walking our dog twice a day, and we couldn’t be happier with her service. She is punctual, reliable, and clearly love animals. Our dog absolutely adores her and comes back from walks happy and well-exercised. Communication has been excellent, and she shared photos of the walk. Highly recommended!”

We have had Sarah take care of our Greyhound a number of times - usually months apart and sometimes quite last minute. Sarah has always been extremely reliable and very professional. For the last visit, we asked her to take care of our Jack Russel at the same time and this was no problem for her. Whenever we use Rover, we always check-in with Sarah first :)

Frederica was wonderful! She and her lovely family took great care of Caramel in their beautiful, welcoming home. She kept us updated and was very accommodating, even when traffic made us a little late collecting her. Caramel was clearly happy and well looked after. Highly recommended! Thanks a million, Frederica.

I have used Caroline twice. She is very prompt with her responses to messages and turned up on time despite some inclement weather. I could tell she was doing a good job as my dog was delighted when Caroline came the second time. I will use again if the need arises.

Pippa has been absolutely wonderful. Ruby was so excited to meet her straight away, which instantly put our minds at ease. Pippa was incredibly understanding about Ruby's little excited bladder and handled everything with such kindness and patience. She took Ruby on a lovely walk and kept us updated throughout with lots of videos and photos, which was so reassuring. It was clear from every update that Ruby was having the best time and looked so happy and relaxed. Communication has been fantastic from the very beginning - warm, friendly and reliable. It's obvious that Pippa genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. We're so grateful to have found someone we can trust with Ruby, and we're already looking forward to booking with her again!

This was my first time using a dog walker and I am so glad I did it - Grace was brilliant! I had plans fall through and Grace was so quick to respond to my request, we got everything sorted so quickly and it gave me such peace of mind! I also loved the updates I got from the walks and her attitude and attention to care was above and beyond what I expected! My dog also loved her and clearly had a great time on his walks! I recommend her to anyone and hope to book her again in the future!

Caitlin was a fantastic dog sitter. Prompt, friendly, enthusiastic and flexible enough to arrange at short notice. Our dog had a lovely walk with her and came back happy and relaxed. We received some cute photos of their walk in Holyrood Park. We will definitely be booking her again!
