“I would highly recommend Eirini. She's both very reliable and an absolute dog lover. Eirini tooka very last minutes request and has been greatly helpful for me and my husband. She gave me upsates on how things were going. Again, wouldn't hesitate to recommend Eirini. I'll definitely contact her again.”

“Danny has been great with our young boisterous pointer! He has been so dependable and has kept us reassured during every walk. Our pup loves him and Danny has put in a lot if effort to create a strong relationship!”

“Justine provides an excellent service. Pippa loves going for walks with her and the updates we get after each walk are excellent. I will definitely be asking Justine to walk Pippa again very soon.”

“Daniela was incredible! She was so flexible and she honestly just had a really good vibe! I was so nervous to give my dog to a stranger (first time puppy mum lol) but once I met her in person I wasn’t worried at all! Sunny had a great time and we would definitely book her again😊😊”

About: My family have had dogs my entire life, all of which have been such special characters! My last dog was particularly special, having had her for 15+ years. Miss having the opportunity to look after her whenever I wish! I'd regularly look after her when my parents went away. Often I'd keep her for months at my flat as we both loved each others company. I'm very active and love going for walks so if you're dog is particularly energetic, we'll just have to go for a long walk, won't we! I'm currently a student so I'm available from Friday (12:30/13:00) right through the weekend to look after your dog(s). My partner (who I live with) loves dogs too and works from home during the week in case you need a little more flexibility around pick-up/drop-off timings; he's always happy to help out! Our flat does not have a garden and is two floors up. It's a spacious flat however and I'd take them out for walks regularly, depending on their needs. If your dog struggles with stairs and is not too large, I can pick them up as I used to do with my old dog who was a collie spaniel cross.
“It was my and my dog's first time with any dog walker/sitter. I was actually quite worried because my dog tends to be very protective. Min made sure my dog believe on her before starting walk, also she relaxed me. I could be able to enjoy my trip because Min kept me updated on how my dog's doing, with photos and videos. I will definitely be again with Min.”

“Eirini is exceptional! Fletcher absolutely adores her and always comes back happy and well-exercised. She is constantly on time and very reliable. Eirini is friendly and caring nature, makes her a joy to work with. Highly recommended!”

About: I have been a dedicated pet lover and caregiver since I was 10 years old. My journey began with my childhood neighbor's Corgi, Boots, and has included a special connection with dogs of all kinds, including my brother's wonderful three-legged Shih Tzu, Tati. I have also been the trusted sitter for many friends' dogs, including the energetic brothers George and Jonny. I also love cats and have had the pleasure of caring for my friend's cat, Kebab. I can't wait to give your pet the same love and attention I've given to all of my furry friends over the years. I am currently a full-time Master's student at the University of Edinburgh. During drop-in visits, I make sure your pet gets outside, fresh food and water, and lots of playtime. For overnight stays, I am committed to maintaining your pet's schedule and providing constant companionship in the comfort of your home. You'll receive regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in safe hands.
“Feng is an incredibly kind and caring pet sitter. When I was away, my dog Peppi fell ill, and Feng went above and beyond, picking up his medication without hesitation. Despite my insistence, he refused any payment for his time and effort. It’s rare to find someone so genuinely compassionate and reliable. If you’re looking for a trustworthy and dedicated dog walker, don’t think twice - book Feng! You won’t find anyone better.”

“Calum was brilliant with Saoirse. He took the time to meet both myself and Saoirse beforehand in his own time, which I really appreciated and instantly put me at ease. He kept me up to date the whole time and was really kind and friendly. Saoirse can be hard work at times with excitement, but he handled her really well and was great with her. Such a nice guy and I really appreciated the help, would definitely recommend and happily book again.”

About: I’ve been trusted to care for dogs and cats of all ages, breeds and sizes. I take the responsibility of caring for another person’s pet extremely seriously. I’m a remote freelancer, so my schedule is very flexible! I’m happy to take your dog for walks throughout the day, feed them and keep them company at home. “Hamish took Goose for a great walk, he was communicative and easy to work with. He obviously knows and loves dogs and I totally trust him to take care of Goose and entertain him on his walk.”

About: I've had my own dogs for 10 years—a Border Collie and a Pomeranian. They are very different in energy and personality, so I've learned a lot about dog behaviors and obtained many dog owner personalities such as being patient, caring, and supportive. Since I have two dogs living together, they sometimes get into arguments and little fights. That means I have real experience stepping in to calm things down, redirect them, and make sure each dogs do not feel left out and get along equally, safely, and have a good time. I'm a student without a heavy schedule and I live in a simple lifestyle. I have every Thursday–Sunday fully free, so it's a perfect time to take care of pets. Before living in UK, I also need to handle walks and care for my own dogs during my school time, so balancing pets in my daily routine is not a problem. I always prioritize safety and comfort for every pet. My own dog was bitten by other dogs in the past, so now whenever I walk my dogs, I have the habit of asking the owner about their dog's personality and behavior first in order to make sure it's a safe environment for everyone. When I'm looking after other people's pet, I'll definitely ask for their pet's habits and make sure everything goes smooth and safe. I live in Simpson Loan, where every building has their own fenced gardens, so it's a perfect place for toilet breaks. Also, I'm near to The Meadows where most dogs really loves to play at.
About: Growing up in a household full of many animals, I've always felt more comfortable around pets than people! Having walked dogs for friends and family now for a few years, I've decided to take the leap and offer my services professionally. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I aim to give owners complete peace of mind with reliable care, clear communication, and plenty of love and attention for their pets. I work full time between Thursday-Sunday; so I am completely free Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday! With enough notice I can be fully flexible on those days. I care for pets in their home by sticking closely to their usual routine, as this helps them feel relaxed and secure. I take time to understand each pet’s needs, from feeding schedules and walk preferences to playtime, medication, and any house rules. I always make sure they have plenty of attention, exercise, and comfort, and I keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is happy and well cared for. I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own.
Edinburgh dog owners share their Rover experiences
Ronald was excellent when looking after our GSD. He visited us a week before to meet us and her and he was very relaxed with her. Ronald walked her every morning for 4 days and he sent pictures and details of her walk which is a comfort, but of course she didn’t miss us! We would highly recommend him as he was reliable, a good communicator and looked after Ava very well.

Calum was brilliant with Saoirse. He took the time to meet both myself and Saoirse beforehand in his own time, which I really appreciated and instantly put me at ease. He kept me up to date the whole time and was really kind and friendly. Saoirse can be hard work at times with excitement, but he handled her really well and was great with her. Such a nice guy and I really appreciated the help, would definitely recommend and happily book again.

Olive had a lovely time with Leanne yesterday a good walk despite the weather and lots of cuddles. Leanne is so caring and totally at ease with a new four legged friend. Her communication with us was excellent and we will rebook without hesitation and would highly recommend her. Thanks so much Leanne
Our dog had a wonderful time with Giulia! As a rescue, he can be quite nervous around new people, but Giulia was fantastic at spending time with him and building up his confidence and trust. She also sent lots of updates and photos which we really appreciated. We're definitely planning to use Giulia again, and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter or dog walker.
