I have loved animals since I was little, having had pets from cats and dogs to reptiles and rodents. I currently have 2 cute cats who I adore. My pet sitting experience includes looking after an energetic bulldog puppy, and overnight care for cats with medicine requirements. I currently work part-time, so my schedule is quite flexible. About: Hello, I'm Justine, a Masters student at the University of Stirling and a dedicated pet sitter located in Menstrie, Scotland. I have a passion for caring for all kinds of pets. I've had pets all my life, ranging from dogs and cats to rodents and reptiles. Right now I have two adorable cats! Your furry friends will be safe and happy in my care. As I have two cats at home, I do not offer pet boarding in my own house. I believe that it is most comfortable and beneficial for the pet to remain in their own home if possible. This ensures that your pet is able to stay in a familiar environment and maintains their normal routine to reduce stress whilst the owner is away. For dog walking, I aim to offer adventurous and varied walks including woodlands, fields, parks and rivers. If your dog is comfortable in cars, I am happy to drive to local walks for your dog to explore new places.

About: I know how anxious it can be leaving your pets or avoiding booking trips because you’re worried about who will look after them? I have 2 cats of my own binx&toby and with them being house cats it’s a daunting thought leaving them in someone else’s hands. That’s why in my free time I wanted to be able to offer support to other families who want someone they can trust to look after their fur babies. although I have my own cats I have grown up arounds dogs of all sizes🤣 we have a naughty jack russel in our family who thinks she’s a big dog so I am very experienced in dog care and dog walks and take extra care with dogs that may have their own challenging quirks🙈i have plenty of experience of dog sitting and cat sitting in the past for friends and family. My main priority is making sure pets are safe, comfortable and well looked after as if they are my own. I also have stable & horse experience- i previously used to horse ride and my partners family own horses. Professionally I work as a full time nurse and love my job! with only working 3 shifts a week and having notice on my shift rotation it gives me a bit of flexibility. any questions please feel free to ask! About: Growing up in the countryside on a farm, I have never not had dogs, from working dogs to rescue dogs I have grown up with a range of fury siblings. My first job age 13 was in a kennel opposite my house where I returned to work each summer until I was 17, the kennel was also home to a greyhound rescue, and working with the dogs in the kennel helped me learn more about dog behaviour and gave me exposure to a range of breeds. Sadly my 3 family dogs have all passed from old age over the past two years and during that time I moved to Scotland. This has left such a big paw print shaped hole in my heart and I cherish any time I can have with dogs. More recently I have been joining my friend on her walks as a dog walker in Edinburgh which has inspired me to start dog walking & pet sitting myself locally to me. I’m currently working part time in a bar on the weekends so I have plenty of time throughout the week to look after your lovely pets! I can also be flexible with my work where needed which means I’m never stuck to a strict schedule. I have a fenced garden which is shared with two neighbouring dogs who love to play. I live near a park also which is perfect for dogs to run around and soak in all the smells.

About: We may have pets, but when it comes to unconditional love, they are the masters. Ever since I can remember I have taken care of dogs, cats and birds. I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to play and look after your pet either indoor or outdoor. I am often out and about climbing hills and going for walks. During my visit it's essential for me familiarize myself with your pet and learn when it eats, drinks, and goes for a walk. Bonding with your baby is essential as it encourages your peace of mind having left your loved one in my watch. Key reasons why some kennels might not be suitable for dogs: Being in an unfamiliar place with many other dogs can cause significant anxiety for some dogs, especially if they are not well socialized. Kennels may not be able to provide the level of individual care needed for dogs with specific needs or behavioral issues. Close contact with other dogs can increase the risk of contracting contagious illnesses like kennel cough. Some kennels may not offer enough playtime or mental stimulation for dogs, leading to boredom and frustration. If the kennel is too small for a dog's size, it can cause discomfort and restrict movement. Lack of regular cleaning can lead to the spread of bacteria and parasites. Staff members who are not properly trained in handling dogs could potentially mishandle or neglect animals. About: I have had dogs since I was a child however living in a flat with one wouldn't be easy so I have decided to wait until I purchase a house with a garden so will pet sit until then! I now work from home so I can house sit as long as there is a solid internet connection to allow your dog to be in its own space whilst I am there to reduce stress. I have my own vehicle to get to and from in the Stirling area also. I work full time from home or anywhere remote - 08.00- 16.00 Mon- Fri so happy to house sit any hours during this time. It's also easy for me to pick up new hours and alter schedules to what is needed. I have cats currently and probably way over protective of them, so I know how important any pet parent is about leaving their beloved animal with someone. I would always be extra attentive.

About: I'm a dog owner and have spent years dog sitting for friends with dogs of every size and health need, from bouncy pups to older dogs with mobility issues. My own dog, Rex, is getting on in years and has arthritis, so I know first-hand how important it is to have care that's tailored to your dog's pace, whether that's a gentle amble or a proper adventure. I joined Rover because Rex can't manage the long runs in the woods and by the river that she used to love, and I wanted to give her some company from other dogs, plus keep myself company on walks too! I'm just as happy providing a slow, sniffy stroll for an older or less mobile dog as I am tiring out a young, energetic one. I live on a quiet, gated street with a small, secure fenced garden, right opposite a park, so there's plenty of space for toilet breaks, playtime, or just pottering about safely. I work remotely so can be home all day. I'm flexible on how much or how little walking your dog needs and I treat every dog in my care with the same patience and attention I give my own. My life revolves around my dog and what she needs. It's her house - I just pay the bills! I work remotely so I am home all day, and love to get up at the crack of dawn for a good walk through the lovely countryside around Bannockburn and Clackmannanshire. My house is smallish and I have a small fenced in garden (16 sq ft) but lots of green space around me. My own dog is very independent and spends most of her time alone upstairs (I think she's part cat), so your dog can have the sofa all to themselves :)

This has given me strong experience to give your dog its wanted needs. I’ve recently finished my university degree, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. I train at an international level with the university swim academy, but outside of training I’m free and able to dedicate consistent time to pet care. Including multiple walks (even up to 5-6 for high energy dogs), supervision, and care throughout the day. This allows me to give dogs consistent attention, exercise, and a structured routine during their stay long or short. I provide a safe, calm, and structured environment for dogs staying in my pet-friendly flat, which includes a secure, dog-friendly balcony and access to all rooms as all dog friendly. There is a garden area outside for toilet breaks, which is always used under close supervision. I also have access to multiple safe walking areas nearby, suitable for both shorter walks and longer, high-energy exercise depending on the breed. Having grown up with a police dog and a fully trained working cocker spaniel, I understand the importance of routine, boundaries, and attentive care. I follow all owner instructions closely and ensure dogs are not left alone for long periods, helping them feel comfortable, secure, and well cared for throughout their stay.
