About: Growing up in the countryside on a farm, I have never not had dogs, from working dogs to rescue dogs I have grown up with a range of fury siblings. My first job age 13 was in a kennel opposite my house where I returned to work each summer until I was 17, the kennel was also home to a greyhound rescue, and working with the dogs in the kennel helped me learn more about dog behaviour and gave me exposure to a range of breeds. Sadly my 3 family dogs have all passed from old age over the past two years and during that time I moved to Scotland. This has left such a big paw print shaped hole in my heart and I cherish any time I can have with dogs. More recently I have been joining my friend on her walks as a dog walker in Edinburgh which has inspired me to start dog walking & pet sitting myself locally to me. I’m currently working part time in a bar on the weekends so I have plenty of time throughout the week to look after your lovely pets! I can also be flexible with my work where needed which means I’m never stuck to a strict schedule. I have a fenced garden which is shared with two neighbouring dogs who love to play. I live near a park also which is perfect for dogs to run around and soak in all the smells.

About: Hi I'm Lorna! I'm a kindhearted animal lover who is eager to love and care for every animal, big or small. I have loved animals since I was little, having had pets from cats and dogs to reptiles and rodents. I currently have 2 cute cats who I adore. My pet sitting experience includes looking after an energetic bulldog puppy, and overnight care for cats with medicine requirements. I currently work part-time, so my schedule is quite flexible. About: I have had dogs all my life including huskies so I’m used to all types of breeds, I have canine first aid, fully insured, dog behaviour and canine nutrition certificates so I can gain as much knowledge and provide a trustworthy service for your beloved babies!! I will treat them like part of our homely pack I work part time for a few hours per day but I walk morning, afternoons and evenings so your dog will still receive the full exercise requirements they need, I have a husky of my own at home so your pet will have company to play with throughout there stay! I have my own front entrance and 6ft fenced back garden space with patio doors so your dog can come in and out with ease! I have a spare room should your pet require space and quiet time alone at times if they need.

About: I know how anxious it can be leaving your pets or avoiding booking trips because you’re worried about who will look after them? I have 2 cats of my own binx&toby and with them being house cats it’s a daunting thought leaving them in someone else’s hands. That’s why in my free time I wanted to be able to offer support to other families who want someone they can trust to look after their fur babies. although I have my own cats I have grown up arounds dogs of all sizes🤣 we have a naughty jack russel in our family who thinks she’s a big dog so I am very experienced in dog care and dog walks and take extra care with dogs that may have their own challenging quirks🙈i have plenty of experience of dog sitting and cat sitting in the past for friends and family. My main priority is making sure pets are safe, comfortable and well looked after as if they are my own. I also have stable & horse experience- i previously used to horse ride and my partners family own horses. Professionally I work as a full time nurse and love my job! with only working 3 shifts a week and having notice on my shift rotation it gives me a bit of flexibility. any questions please feel free to ask! I work x3 12hr shifts a week- mostly nightshifts so taking a few hours out of my day to check in with your pets is no problem I treat all animals as if they where my own and follow the owners wishes 100% keeping your pets safe and having respect for your home when carrying out visits is a huge priority.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years, including walking, feeding and giving lots of love and attention. Friends, family, and neighbours trust me to keep their pets safe, happy, and well-exercised while they’re away. As a university student and professional athlete, I maintain a structured weekly routine around my university and swimming training. I have university classes 9am–2pm on Mondays and Tuesdays, swimming training 6–9:30on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and 12–3:45pm on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. I recently moved to Stirling from Aberdeen to undertake a masters in marketing, meaning my own Golden Retriever, Duke, is staying at home in Aberdeen with my family. I really miss having him around and the comfort, companionship and joy that comes from having a dog to care for and give lots of love and attention to. Pet sitting gives me the opportunity to share that love and care with other people’s pets. Outside of my scheduled university and training hours, I am completely free and can dedicate my time to your pet. When pet sitting, I will be staying in the owner’s home and can provide your pet with my full attention, company and care for the majority of the day. This means your pet won’t be left alone for long periods, while still being able to stay in the comfort of their own home and maintain their usual surroundings. About: I’m 22 years old, and just finished studying my undergrad Sport Business Management degree at Stirling. Growing up my friends and family have always had dogs and/ or cats, I’ve always loved looking after them or taking them on walks! I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats in the past and I appreciate that each individual will have their own quirks and personalities and would likely benefit from meeting me before I stay with them :) In the past I’ve even managed to teach my cat to ‘sit’ and ‘high-5’! I’m currently in between studying my undergraduate degree and beginning my masters degree my fourth year of studying at university :) My schedule usually involves football training a couple of times a week: Monday evening, Friday evening, and Sunday 12-1.30pm I also volunteer at a Parkinson’s Singing Group (Monday 3-4.45pm) and Walking Football (Tuesday 10.30am-12pm). I understand that your pets may be wary of a new person and will be sure to give them any space they need! The worst thing we want to do is give them a bad experience and to overwhelm them. I have experience with nervous pets and are able to recognise when not to approach them, although every pet is different. I’ll give them their space in their own home and let them come to me.

About: We may have pets, but when it comes to unconditional love, they are the masters. Ever since I can remember I have taken care of dogs, cats and birds. I'm currently working part-time so I'll have plenty of time to play and look after your pet either indoor or outdoor. I am often out and about climbing hills and going for walks. During my visit it's essential for me familiarize myself with your pet and learn when it eats, drinks, and goes for a walk. Bonding with your baby is essential as it encourages your peace of mind having left your loved one in my watch. Key reasons why some kennels might not be suitable for dogs: Being in an unfamiliar place with many other dogs can cause significant anxiety for some dogs, especially if they are not well socialized. Kennels may not be able to provide the level of individual care needed for dogs with specific needs or behavioral issues. Close contact with other dogs can increase the risk of contracting contagious illnesses like kennel cough. Some kennels may not offer enough playtime or mental stimulation for dogs, leading to boredom and frustration. If the kennel is too small for a dog's size, it can cause discomfort and restrict movement. Lack of regular cleaning can lead to the spread of bacteria and parasites. Staff members who are not properly trained in handling dogs could potentially mishandle or neglect animals. Every pet's mental, emotional, physical, nutritional, and intuitive health is of utmost importance to me, and I will remain steadfast in my commitment to provide for every pet as though they are my own.

About: I’ve had many many dogs, cats, chickens and sheep of my own, but also over many years looked after friend’s dogs, cats and small furries. Looked after pets of all ages and peculiarities. Every one is different and special. I have two dogs and two cats of my own with family help if I need to stay away. I am available at any time, with notice and can easily fit my dogs walks around visiting your pets. Pet care is my full time occupation so your pet is my priority. Whatever your pets normal routine, I can cater for them to keep life as close to your usual routine as possible. Either in your home or mine as preferred.

About: I have had dogs since I was a child however living in a flat with one wouldn't be easy so I have decided to wait until I purchase a house with a garden so will pet sit until then! I now work from home so I can house sit as long as there is a solid internet connection to allow your dog to be in its own space whilst I am there to reduce stress. I have my own vehicle to get to and from in the Stirling area also. I work full time from home or anywhere remote - 08.00- 16.00 Mon- Fri so happy to house sit any hours during this time. It's also easy for me to pick up new hours and alter schedules to what is needed. I have cats currently and probably way over protective of them, so I know how important any pet parent is about leaving their beloved animal with someone. I would always be extra attentive.
