“Hannah responded quickly to my booking enquiry, was upfront about her availability, and was proactive and flexible in working out a recurring booking that worked for both of us. As my first time using Rover, Hannah was patient and understanding, helping me submit the correct booking details. Before the first booking, she offered to drop by and meet Lyle, which gave everyone the reassurance that Lyle would get along just fine. Finally, Hannah has provided great detail and fantastic photos of Lyle out on his walks on the Rover cards, I can see Lyle has had good variety in his walks and is thoroughly enjoying his time with Hannah and Simba. I'm delighted with how the first week has gone and I'm sure Lyle is looking forward to many more adventures.”

About: I am 24 years old, I just look young! I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. 10 years ago my family got a working cocker spaniel who was my best friend during my teenage years. In autumn 2024 I completed a dog first aid course. After moving into my own place I looked after a family friend's cockapoo for 6 weeks in 2025. I enjoyed this so much that I decided to buy my own dog, a young whippet. She is well socialised and loves to play with other dogs of all sizes. I'm doing an online masters in wildlife conservation part time so I can be with the dogs most of the time. I spend my days balancing my studies with hobbies including running, dog walking and nature photography. I have a 1 year old female whippet who loves to play with other dogs. She is crated overnight. I'm happy to go with your preference on crating or not crating your dog. I have access to a small enclosed shared garden and a big park only 1 minute from the house.
“Martina is great 😊 Fantastic communication, lots of pictures and Ziggy and Isla looked very happy on their walk. They were very settled at night, a sign of a great walk! I have already booked their next one! Thanks Martina”

About: Hi, I’m Katie! 💛 I’ve been dog-mad for as long as I can remember and have grown up with dogs all my life. Looking after them never feels like work to me – I genuinely love spending time with them and getting to know all their different personalities. Since starting on Rover, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for lots of lovely dogs, from bouncy puppies to older dogs who enjoy a quieter routine. Every dog is different, and that’s one of my favourite things about dog sitting. When I’m looking after your dog, they’ll get plenty of love, attention and company. I’ll follow their usual routine, make sure they get lots of walks and cuddles, and send regular photo updates so you can see what they’ve been getting up to while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone not only with your dog, but with your home too. I always treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own. My aim is always for your dog to feel safe, happy and completely at home, and for you to enjoy your time away knowing they’re being well looked after. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! ❤️ As I have previously mentioned, I have just come back from living in Australia so i am very flexible and available 7 days a week. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow their normal routines, give them plenty of love and attention, and always keep you updated with photos and messages. I make sure every dog feels safe, happy and cared for like part of my family.
About: Hi, I'm Rachel, a dog lover and artist based in central Perth. I'm offering my pet sitting services to good natured four legged friends in Perth and the surrounding area 😊 Past experience: My childhood dog was a Norfolk Terrier, who was great - but a classic terrier! We next got a Romanian rescue who had been in a kill shelter so was quite anxious. My family fostered a number of other Romanian rescues, so through these experiences and having one of our own, I am familiar with looking after those of a more nervous disposition, and the importance of building trust slowly. Having done lots of pet sitting throughout my life (including cats) and using Borrowmydoggy when I moved to Scotland, I later joined Rover to share my services more widely. I treat each pet as if they were my own and love building a genuine relationship with a dog over time and learning their quirks. I am able to follow care instructions, work with their usual routine to make them as comfortable as possible, and balance fun and play with firmness when needed. About me: I am approachable, trustworthy and reliable. I love spending time in nature; I am a landscape painter so the surrounding areas provide significant creative inspiration to me. I have a car and am located in central Perth, right by the river and the South Inch park, with lots of nice local walks nearby. I currently work full-time but I am able to be flexible on my office days (the more notice the better for this). I am particularly able to do short-term sits, such as a single day or day-night-day, but do feel free to put through any requests for longer and I'll see what I can accommodate! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile, any queries just let me know 😊 I currently work full-time so if you require my services in the week it'd be good to know that your dog would be ok with me spending time sitting at my laptop (with cuddle breaks of course). I am generally 1 day per week in the office but I do have some flexibility in my schedule, particularly with a bit of notice. I am in a first-floor flat, no garden but very close to green space. My flat is clean and smoke-free. I live on my own, and pets are welcome on the sofa and bed if allowed!

“My dogs had a lovely little introductory walk with Amy. She was calm and kind to them and they warmed to her instantly. I am confident my dogs will be safe in Amy's hands on their next walk with her.”

“Sean took my baby girl Freya for a very very last minute walk. I messaged Sean rather late at night asking if he would take Freya for a walk, he replied with the hour and we organised for him to take Freya for a walk at 7am the next day. He arrived early and took Freya without hesitation. I’m always worried when someone new takes her as she’s a big German shepherd who can be reactive towards dogs. However Freya came back looking rather happy. 100% will be using again.”

About: I’ve been around and drawn to pets/animals for as long as I can remember. Especially when being younger, my granny had two Jack Russell’s Bracken & Jordie. I would take any opportunity I could to take care of them, whether or not that be walking them, feeding them, playing with them, or even just watching over them. My cousins have also always owned dogs and most of them being cocker spaniels, I’m used to their energy and high attention demand. I’ve never had any pets in my own family home as it doesn’t mix too well with some in the house. But I think that lack of a pet in my home has only grown my love for them. Whenever a friend or relative asks if I’m able to give a hand while they’re away on holiday or at work, I’m more than happy to help. Whether it be a dog or a cat, I’m pretty easy going with whatever the case is. My main line of work is being a seasonal park ranger, which entails me speaking to a large amount of the public using the outdoor space, usually with pets, so I have a lot of experience with new dogs and picking up on signs. As I previously mentioned before, I’m a seasonal park ranger for work and since it’s the off season my days are all mostly free’d up! Apart from a small break in the Christmas period from 24th - 4th Jan. I don’t take care of pets in my own home as it doesn’t mix with certain family members, but more than happy to sit at the owners residence during all hours. I’m happy to feed, walk, play, wash, and spend time with your pets, making sure they get the attention and care they need. On the other hand, if your pet is more of the type of animal that just needs some space and a caring eye watching to make sure they’re happy and comfortable, that’s a position I’m happy to fill as well.

About: I provide loving, reliable care and treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience caring for puppies, so I’m confident with toilet training, reinforcing basic training, and sticking to their routines. I also have a very friendly, well-socialised resident dog who loves meeting and playing with other dogs, making your pet feel welcome if they enjoy canine company. Every pet is cared for according to their individual needs, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you have complete peace of mind. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine as I’m currently on maternity leave and home for most of the day. I already care for my own friendly dog, so feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship are all part of my everyday life. Being at home allows me to provide plenty of attention, stick to your pet’s usual routine, and make sure they receive lots of care, affection, and regular company throughout the day. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide care exclusively in my own home, where they’ll be treated like part of the family. My home is clean, secure, and pet-friendly, with plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at ease. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. “Isla was very good at accommodating my request at short notice. She was brilliant with Murphy and Murphy throughly enjoyed his walk with her. Isle sent pictures and details of the walk. I will definitely use Isla again and would definitely recommend her.”

About: I have always been an animal lover! I have just finished my HND animal care qualification and passed. I currently work in a boarding kennels and I am also volunteering a a local rescue shelter. I love spending time with these dogs, and walk them once a week. I’ve had dogs in my home since I was 4, and grew up learning how to care for them. I hope to use my qualification to be able to work with animals full time in the future. I’ve just finished my HND animal care qualification. I’m currently working part-time at a boarding kennels facility. On my days off I love to look after dogs! About: I grew up around dogs, training and caring for them has always been a huge part of my life. I've cared for and owned various breeds, of all sizes, so I have a great understanding of different dogs and their behaviours. This helps me ensure they are happy, comfortable & getting what they need. I live in a one bedroom flat with my dachshund, Jasper, located coviently close to a park, and also have direct access to an enclosed garden from my flat. So we're in the perfect spot for dogs to have a long walk and play around the park, or if the weather doesn't allow then cuddles and games at home on the sofa. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I am currently working part-time and have plenty of time to look after your dogs. I do dog walking, day care or dog sitting in my home, alongside my own little dog I have a fully enclosed garden so the dogs can play safely outdoors. When inside I will provide the care they need based on your recommendation. Happy to accommodate crates and administer oral medication, etc.
About: I’ve had experience with all kinds of pets all my life and looked after family pets, neighbours pets and all sorts. I have grown up always having cats, dogs, rabbits, hamsters, ponies (I even had lizards at one point) 🐱🐶🐰🐹🐴🦎 I can’t do boarding due to my dog not being great with other dogs. I can house sit depending on if my boyfriend can watch her but this isn’t always possible - feel free to ask and I can let you know if this will be possible. I’m a nurse and work 3 times a week, so if I am off I am able to house sit, walk or do drop in visits. I try to update my availability regularly according to my shifts I know just how important our animals are to us and how trust is so important when it comes to who you give your pet to. I would only trust the best to care for mine, so rest assured that your fur baby would be in good hands with me and have a home away from home 🥰

Currently working from home, so if you are local, I can be flexible with my visit timings. Early morning, lunch break or post work/evening visits. Trust is extremely important to me. I want you and your pet to be comfortable with my service, so anything I can do on top of regular communication and live updates please let me know. About: I've been enjoying using another app for house sitting pets in the owners home, have looked after 35 pets so far mostly dogs and really enjoy getting to know each beautiful soul! I'm physically and mentally strong, able to manage more demanding behaviors and with gentle patience, charm the most nervous pets. I'm a freelance community project lead so I am flexible and enjoy getting outdoors as much as possible. I love a walk to the park that backs on to my home or a bigger jaunt round to Victoria and Lochee park. I have a fenced in garden for zoomies and the park adjacent for longer stretches. We use the back door as our main door which offers additional safety as we can implement an 'airlock' system between the two internal doors 😅. Our neighborhood is a 20 zone and we live on a cul-de-sac. We have space for your crate if you would like to provide one for your dog's comfort.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs of different breeds through looking after family and friends dogs. They relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I am currently at Abertay University studying Food, Nutrition, and Health. Therefore, i would love to take care of your pets in my spare time! I have a closed off garden to keep your dogs safe. Rhona is absolutely amazing at what she does! From the very first walk, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about the dogs she looks after. My dog absolutely adores her and gets so excited every time Rhona arrives — which says everything! She’s reliable, professional, and always goes the extra mile to make sure the dogs have the best time. I love getting updates and knowing my dog is not only safe but having so much fun. It’s such a relief to have someone I completely trust. I honestly couldn’t recommend Rhona more highly — she’s brilliant, and any dog would be lucky to have her! 🐾

Hannah has walked Lyle for several weeks now, throughout which time she has kept me well informed of the walks taken and other dogs met. I can see that Lyle has been well looked after in her care, particularly dried when he's gotten wet. Hannah's availability to walk Lyle while I'm away during the day has been consistent and reliable, and I wouldn't hesitate to continue to booking.
