“Amazing:P was able to handle large untrained dogs that had special requirements. Was very adaptable when I needed to rearrange visiting times. Overall very professional and took good care of my dogs”

“O left a key out for Charlene when we were away to drop in and card fof Isla. She responded very promptly to messages. Followed all that I had asked of her and updated me after first visit to reassure me and sent pictures which was appreciated . Charliene has a gentle. Quiet demeanor which isla responded well to.”

“What a fantastic first experience with twice daily detailed updates and photos resulting in me enjoying my time away . Martina and her family were amazing and will be definitely be booking future dates . Simba will miss them . Cannot fault service and recommend to anyone . Even left card flowers and chocolate as it was my birthday on the day I returned . Just so thoughtful”

“Sean was a god send this weekend with my very young 10 week old pup! I had to work nightshift and circumstances changed suddenly so I had no one available to watch my boy. Sean was able to stay the whole night the first night to make sure my pup would settle, then did a late night drop in the second night. Was so helpful to have someone able to do awkward hours and communication was great. Definitely recommend”

About: Being native of the French Alps, I have been around dogs, especially big dogs (Belgian Shepherd, German shepherds, Bernese Mountain dogs, etc) all my life. I have always had cats (I currently have 3 cats + a Horsefield tortoise) and I have looked after dogs, goats, ducks, hens, geese, fish, axolotls and snakes. As well as canines and felines, I love all farm animals and reptiles. All animals, really, except midges and ticks 😆 if on me. I’m currently working part time from home so flexible with day visiting hours. Happy to rise early or visiting late. Likely to come by bike if very local. I live in a small rural village. My 3 cats have a cat flap, dried food always available and wet food twice a day, so they are independent. They have a lot of interaction with local cats and dogs. I am used to caring for indoor cats too. The tortoise is outside either in rabbit type hutch or large enclosure. I move him around depending on the weather and vary the leafy environment for him, so that there is excitement and a sense of freedom in his life. I also take him for a walk on a local quiet path; he loves it!
About: I grew up around dogs, training and caring for them has always been a huge part of my life. I've cared for and owned various breeds, of all sizes, so I have a great understanding of different dogs and their behaviours. This helps me ensure they are happy, comfortable & getting what they need. I live in a one bedroom flat with my dachshund, Jasper, located coviently close to a park, and also have direct access to an enclosed garden from my flat. So we're in the perfect spot for dogs to have a long walk and play around the park, or if the weather doesn't allow then cuddles and games at home on the sofa. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I am currently working part-time and have plenty of time to look after your dogs. I do dog walking, day care or dog sitting in my home, alongside my own little dog I have a fully enclosed garden so the dogs can play safely outdoors. When inside I will provide the care they need based on your recommendation. Happy to accommodate crates and administer oral medication, etc.
“Hannah provided us with an exceptional experience being away from pets but having the comfort of Hannah's attention to detail and affection towards our cats. Highly recommend and would consider future booking with Hannah.”

About: Hi, I’m Katie! 💛 I’ve been dog-mad for as long as I can remember and have grown up with dogs all my life. Looking after them never feels like work to me – I genuinely love spending time with them and getting to know all their different personalities. Since starting on Rover, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for lots of lovely dogs, from bouncy puppies to older dogs who enjoy a quieter routine. Every dog is different, and that’s one of my favourite things about dog sitting. When I’m looking after your dog, they’ll get plenty of love, attention and company. I’ll follow their usual routine, make sure they get lots of walks and cuddles, and send regular photo updates so you can see what they’ve been getting up to while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone not only with your dog, but with your home too. I always treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own. My aim is always for your dog to feel safe, happy and completely at home, and for you to enjoy your time away knowing they’re being well looked after. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! ❤️ As I have previously mentioned, I have just come back from living in Australia so i am very flexible and available 7 days a week. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow their normal routines, give them plenty of love and attention, and always keep you updated with photos and messages. I make sure every dog feels safe, happy and cared for like part of my family.
About: I have 10 years experience of caring for dogs of all ages from puppies to senior dogs. This includes giving medication orally and basic training as well. I am currently available for morning and early afternoon walks and drop ins. Local walks around your area would be 20 to 25 minutes at a time. A premium, longer walk for more active dogs can be discussed on an individual basis. For drop ins i will let your dog out in to your enclosed garden and provide company and play time for the length of the visit. If feeding etc is required please ensure food is clearly available and the required amount specified.

About: I have loved animals ever since I was a young child and have grown up with both dogs and cats. I have my own two dogs who I adore! Don't worry, they won't be coming along with me to drop in's - your dog will get 100% of my attention. Alongside being around dogs most of my life, I have a degree in animal behaviour and welfare. So please be rest assured that your dog will be in good hands. I can be very flexible with timings for drop ins be it morning, afternoon or evening. This is currently my only job, so I can be available 7 days a week if needed. I offer drop in visits in your home. This is ideal for young puppies, elderly, injured dogs or for those with separation anxiety. During my visit, I will be happy to refresh water and feed if required. I will also ensure to give your dog some attention and offering them a pee break.

About: I provide loving, reliable care and treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience caring for puppies, so I’m confident with toilet training, reinforcing basic training, and sticking to their routines. I also have a very friendly, well-socialised resident dog who loves meeting and playing with other dogs, making your pet feel welcome if they enjoy canine company. Every pet is cared for according to their individual needs, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you have complete peace of mind. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine as I’m currently on maternity leave and home for most of the day. I already care for my own friendly dog, so feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship are all part of my everyday life. Being at home allows me to provide plenty of attention, stick to your pet’s usual routine, and make sure they receive lots of care, affection, and regular company throughout the day. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide care exclusively in my own home, where they’ll be treated like part of the family. My home is clean, secure, and pet-friendly, with plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at ease. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. References are available on request for added peace of mind.
About: I've cared for animals most of my life, with years of experience raising cats and the past three years spent with my energetic and loving dog. “Claire was great. She sent me photos and videos of my cats. They were well cared for, fed, watered, entertained and litter tray sorted. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her or use her services again.”

Antonia was excellent. Updating us, photos and being very aware of how the cats were. She even managed to get one of our cats who is very shy, to come and speak to her on her first visit. Would absolutely recommend Antonia to take the best care of your cats

Followed all that I had asked of her and updated me after first visit to reassure me and sent pictures which was appreciated . Charliene has a gentle. Quiet demeanor which isla responded well to.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Perth pet parents with similar pet households.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Perth choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
