Lynh was brilliant with Otto - very calm and built up a good relationship with him. Great walks from the house which he really appreciated - great to have an exhausted dog at the endvof the day!!

Ali looked after my puppy Roy, and I couldn't have been happier with the experience. From the very beginning, he was kind, warm, gentle, and incredibly easy to communicate with. As a nervous puppy owner leaving Roy with someone new for the first time, I immediately felt reassured and comfortable thanks to Ali's calm and caring nature. His dog, Freya, was also lovely and very friendly, and it was clear that she and Roy got on really well. It was wonderful knowing Roy was in such good company and having a great time while I was away. Ali clearly cares deeply about the dogs he looks after, and I felt completely confident that Roy was being well cared for. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and reliable dog sitter. Thank you, Ali!

About: I grew up around dogs, training and caring for them has always been a huge part of my life. I've cared for and owned various breeds, of all sizes, so I have a great understanding of different dogs and their behaviours. This helps me ensure they are happy, comfortable & getting what they need. I live in a one bedroom flat with my dachshund, Jasper, located coviently close to a park, and also have direct access to an enclosed garden from my flat. So we're in the perfect spot for dogs to have a long walk and play around the park, or if the weather doesn't allow then cuddles and games at home on the sofa. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! I am currently working part-time and have plenty of time to look after your dogs. I do dog walking, day care or dog sitting in my home, alongside my own little dog I have a fully enclosed garden so the dogs can play safely outdoors. When inside I will provide the care they need based on your recommendation. Happy to accommodate crates and administer oral medication, etc.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and was lucky enough to share 13 wonderful years with my Staffy, Kiera, and a few short but special months with our boy Alfie. Losing them both was heartbreaking but it taught me a lot about what dogs need at every stage of life, from the endless energy of puppyhood to the gentle care older dogs deserve. I understand how hard it can be to trust someone else with your dog, so I treat every dog I look after like my own. I’m confident with strong breeds, experienced in senior care and happy handling medication, routines and all the quirks that make dogs who they are. I know what it means to have a dog be part of the family and I’ll make sure yours feels safe and loved while you’re away. I am self-employed and working from home so my schedule is extremely flexible to fit around looking after your pooch. I am more than happy to keep any routine your dog already has in place. Your dog’s comfort and safety come first. At home, your dog will be treated like one of the family. I am happy to keep rules consistent with yours so if your dog gets to lay on the sofa at home, then they get to lay on the sofa at their holiday home too. I stick closely to each dog’s usual routine so they settle quickly and I’m never far from sight or sound when they’re here. I live in the middle of a big park so there is lots of opportunities for fun walks (as frequent as your dog requires). If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I treat it with the same respect and care I’d want for my own. I make sure doors and gates are secure, walks are safe and appropriate for their age and energy and cuddles are freely available for those who want them.

About: Hi, I’m Katie! 💛 I’ve been dog-mad for as long as I can remember and have grown up with dogs all my life. Looking after them never feels like work to me – I genuinely love spending time with them and getting to know all their different personalities. Since starting on Rover, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for lots of lovely dogs, from bouncy puppies to older dogs who enjoy a quieter routine. Every dog is different, and that’s one of my favourite things about dog sitting. When I’m looking after your dog, they’ll get plenty of love, attention and company. I’ll follow their usual routine, make sure they get lots of walks and cuddles, and send regular photo updates so you can see what they’ve been getting up to while you’re away. I know how important it is to trust someone not only with your dog, but with your home too. I always treat every home with the same care and respect I would my own. My aim is always for your dog to feel safe, happy and completely at home, and for you to enjoy your time away knowing they’re being well looked after. I can’t wait to meet you and your dog! ❤️ As I have previously mentioned, I have just come back from living in Australia so i am very flexible and available 7 days a week. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow their normal routines, give them plenty of love and attention, and always keep you updated with photos and messages. I make sure every dog feels safe, happy and cared for like part of my family.

About: Recently completed my diploma in Dog walking and pet sitting 💁🏻‍♀️ I have had lots of good hands on experience when it comes to dog sitting and walking, I had the pleasure of helping my sister raise her amazing golden retriever Reggie from puppy. We are best of friends and I treat him as though he was my own. We have a family dog Dougal who is the most wonderful loveable Cocker Spaniel and I have previously been trusted to house sit with Dougal while my parents were on holiday for a week. I love going for long walks and ball throwing sessions, it helps keep me fit and active as well as the dogs! I grew up on a farm so I have been used to being around lots of dogs and various other animals in my time! I love interacting with dogs of all ages and enjoy making them feel safe, happy and welcome at all times. Currently taking a career break so I have plenty of spare time on my hands for watching my dog pals tails waging and going for daily walks 🫶🏻💁🏻‍♀️ In my dog-sitting approach, safety, trust, and the environment are paramount. I foster trust through open communication. Your pet's well-being is my top priority, backed by a commitment to safety, trust, and environmental responsibility. I aim to make them feel comfortable and happy!

About: I have had dogs since I was 14 and am a responsible pet owner. I will ensure that all dogs I look after get plenty of exercise and the attention they deserve. I would be looking to take dogs on during my days off which are irregular. I have my own dog, a rough collie named Iroh, and I am hoping pet sitting will be a great way to socialise him more. I have a small fenced garden and a larger village park just across the road. Easy access to loads of paths for walking. Happy to cater to any sleeping arrangement.

About: I provide loving, reliable care and treat every pet as if they were my own. I have experience caring for puppies, so I’m confident with toilet training, reinforcing basic training, and sticking to their routines. I also have a very friendly, well-socialised resident dog who loves meeting and playing with other dogs, making your pet feel welcome if they enjoy canine company. Every pet is cared for according to their individual needs, and I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you have complete peace of mind. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine as I’m currently on maternity leave and home for most of the day. I already care for my own friendly dog, so feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship are all part of my everyday life. Being at home allows me to provide plenty of attention, stick to your pet’s usual routine, and make sure they receive lots of care, affection, and regular company throughout the day. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I provide care exclusively in my own home, where they’ll be treated like part of the family. My home is clean, secure, and pet-friendly, with plenty of space to relax, play, and feel at ease. I follow each pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific care instructions. I’ll keep you updated with regular photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and well cared for. About: I have always been around dogs having been brought up with them and I then had my own little rescue poodle, Oscar, when I was 25. Since then, for the last 32 years, my life has always been filled with dogs. They have brought me such joy and my life is completely shared with them. They have always had unrestricted access to everywhere in their home. In our old home they even had their own bedroom with double bed. Unfortunately in the last year we lost our darling Bisou who was 14. She was the sister of our other Dog (Penny). Bisou was a darling and the gentlest of giants. Penny shares our life and home with us and is a big old standard poodle of 15 years. She is very old and wobbly but OK with other dogs around her so as long as they do not expect her to chase them. They would be disappointed as Penny can only wobble these days. I have always believed in nurturing through kindness and reward and our cupboard is always full of doggy treats. Dogs deserve love and kindness, lots of cuddles and plenty of walks and fun. I am very flexible with my hours and time as I run my own business from my home in the heart of the Perthshire countryside. Your dog would fit in with us as if they were part of our family with at least one long walk in the forests or hills surrounding us. I have a secure large walled garden with plenty of space to run around and sniff and play. We look out onto open countryside and opposite our home is a lovely dog walk. I regularly explore the area with my neighbours dog and would do the same with yours - taking them on hill walks, forest tracks and seeking out lochs for a paddle or swim. Our home is warm, large and comfortable with lots of pillows and throws for your dog to keep snuggly. Our sofas and bed are all dog friendly and cuddles in the evening are always part of the agenda. We are used to looking after elderly dogs so should your dog have special requirements you can be guaranteed that we shall do our best to understand them and go that extra mile to ensure your dog is comfortable and happy. We have looked after many dogs over the years and a couple of years ago we looked after two "ladies". They spent the week with us and when the owners came to collect them they refused to leave us! It was really nice to know that the two dogs had loved their time with us, particularly because we knew they were very spoilt and loved by their owners.

This was Jumble's first experience of day care, and ours, but Lynh was very reassuring, explaining how he would spend his time with her. She sent lots of photos of him looking very happy on his walk with her. When we picked him up Lynh said she thought he'd been a bit anxious and suggested another short stay to help get him used to being with her and we're going to do that. Very happy with the care Lynh took.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Perth

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Perth on Rover is £25.3 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 809 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Perth . About 86% of Perth sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Perth commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in Scotland may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
