Monika is fantastic! We had a last minute request to have our puppy need day care and she was so amazing to be able to take him. She sent me loads of updates and was excellent at helping to start socialising him with other dogs. Even picking him he was acting like he wanted to stay. Thank you again!

Moira & Rory regularly look after our Cavapoo Lenny and we are so happy and thankful to have met them. We moved our little dog with us when we moved to Scotland and it was so important that we found someone who we could trust. Lenny absolutely adores Moira & Rory and it is considered his second home. He skips straight in the door and we know he’s in great care. We get regular updates and know that both Moira & Rory love our little guy just as much as we do and we can trust them completely. Couldn’t recommend them more!

About: I am well experienced in dog sitting, boarding, drop ins, and walking, having done this type of work since a young age, but more consistently in the last four years. I have also had the privilege of dog & house sitting for THS in various locations from London to South Carolina USA. I have extensive experience with rescue dogs who suffer with behavioural issues like resource guarding, aggression and reactivity. I have been on the receiving end of that “I just need a break” feeling and would love to use my skills and knowledge to help other dog owners who perhaps are in a similar situation. Don’t ever worry about this being an “issue”. Having so much experience with high prey drive dogs in the past I am also confident fitting muzzles, or continuing any ongoing muzzle training where required with a positive reinforcement approach. If your dog is pretty chill, lazy, placid or easy going- great! I’m open to help care for any dog regardless of their temperament, energy levels, training requirements, etc. I am very big on dog training, so more than happy to incorporate what I know into my appointments, and/or continue with any training owners currently have, for example, loose leash walking, cooperative care, impulse control, obedience and recall. Dogs love predictability & structure and this is very important for their nervous systems. I’m happy to help integrate with your dogs routine where possible! Boarding in my home: I have a fenced, fully secure back garden that any dog in my care will have access to. The kitchen looks out on to the garden, so I can keep a close eye on your fur baby at all times. If a dog is in my care they will never just be left alone to find their own fun- always in my line of sight and properly watched after. I also have a crate for anyone who would prefer their dogs to maintain their crate training routine. This can be especially helpful for any dogs who have a tendency to be destructive or pick up and eat things they shouldn’t around the house, which can pose potential safety concerns. I have a comprehensive understanding of dog body language, able to confidently tell if they are communicating signals of happiness, stress, excitement and warnings.

Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and personalities – especially the fun, energetic types who love being outside, playing, and getting plenty of love. I’ve had 5 dogs of my own in the past, and now my boyfriend and I live in a lovely, pet-safe home with a private garden – perfect for zoomies or a sunny snooze.❤️ Alongside pet-sitting, I also support an online dog shelter, helping dogs find loving homes and raising awareness for adoption. Giving back to the dog community is something that really matters to me, and it’s another reason I treat every dog I look after like family. Our neighbourhood is quiet, green, and super pet-friendly, with plenty of open spaces, trails, and quiet roads for long walks. I genuinely enjoy being out and about, so your pup will have lots of opportunities to walk and sniff.❤️ I am working from home, so your dog will always have company. I also understand how important it is to stay connected with your pet while you’re away, so I’ll send plenty of photos and videos to keep you updated. Allan looked after Barney for the day to see how he settled, and I couldn’t have asked for more. Barney is a very nervous and shy boy, but Allan was patient and understanding throughout. He kept me updated with messages and photos, which really put my mind at ease. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and look forward to Barney staying with him again.

About: I have lots of experience dog sitting many types of breeds of all shapes and sizes! I board and dog sit frequently for friends and family and have growing experience with lovely Rover clients. I also have vast hands-on experience caring for my own much-loved dachshund, Nelly, who has taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and understanding each dog’s individual personality and needs! Raising her has given me practical experience with daily care, exercise, feeding routines, and providing a safe, loving environment for my girl! I have a genuine passion for dogs and enjoy spending time outdoors, nature walks and exploring new places together. I’m also happy taking dogs on safe car journeys when needed. My priority is ensuring every dog in my care feels happy, comfortable, and treated as if they were part of my own family. I understand that every dog deserves plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and companionship while their owners are away just as I like whilst I am away. My dachshund will be present unless specifically requested for during booking but she is friendly and loves to play. I have experience in issuing daily medication and monitoring dogs behaviour, diet and intake. I encourage owners to bring their dog beds for comfort during sitting in my home but dogs are all welcome on our sofas with lots of cuddles 🛋️🛌🐾 I am a current primary teacher in Glasgow. During my school holidays I love to dog-board, sit and walk! I love all things animals and walking. I treat dogs as my own, and a part of our family. I have a friendly and welcoming mini dachshund at home in our flat and a garden downstairs. All dogs welcome in our home - even on our sofa! If you are looking someone trustworthy and caring for your little one, please reach out!

About: I’ve had dogs in my life since I was 4, so caring for them has always been second nature. Over the years I’ve looked after everything from King Charles Spaniels, Pugs, Boxers and Dogue de Bordeauxs, so I’m comfortable with all sizes, personalities and quirks. Most recently I had a pug named Dilbo for 16 years, who was completely part of the family. I still miss the little things like his tip tap paws on the floor and his very loud snoring and farting, so I know how much dogs mean to their owners and how important it is to feel they’re in safe hands. Friends, family and neighbours have always relied on me to help with their pets, and my brother also dog sits, so it’s definitely in the family. Since my pug passed, I’ve really missed having a dog around, which is why I genuinely love spending time with others. I have a large secure garden and lots of great parks nearby, so your dog will get plenty of attention, exercise and proper care while they’re with me. I also run a little Instagram called The Barkchives where, I like to document the pooches I meet along the way x I have plenty of time to give your dog proper attention, walks and care throughout the day. Your dog won’t be left on their own while they are boarding with me and will get lots of company, affection and routine. And expect plenty pics of your pooch to ensure your peace of mind. Your dog’s safety and comfort is my priority, trusting someone to look after a family member isn't to be sniffed at! I have a large, secure fenced garden for safe outdoor time, and I always keep dogs on a lead when out on walks. I’m attentive to each dog’s needs and routines, and I’ll make sure they feel settled, cared for and relaxed while they’re with me, whether that’s playtime, walks or just a calm space to rest.

Konstantina has been great start to finish when it came to booking our dog Alvin for a Day Care. She put us completely at ease when we introduced Alvin to Nala as she obviously really loves and cares for her. She was also very responsive to messages and happy to adjust to our schedule. Alvin seemed to have a blast staying with her and the pictures/videos she sent us are absolutely adorable! We will definitely book Alvin with Konstantina in the future :)

About: I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet and I treat every animal as if they were my own. Making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for at all times. I’ve always loved animals, which led me to study and work in animal welfare. I hold a degree in Animal Science and an HND in Animal Care, giving me a strong understanding of animal health, behaviour, and wellbeing. I also have over a year of hands-on experience in an animal welfare/rescue role, where I cared for animals in a wide range of situations. This helped me build confidence in handling, behaviour assessment, and providing the right care for different needs. Alongside this, I’ve volunteered in veterinary practices, gaining experience with different breeds, temperaments, and medical needs. I’ve grown up around animals my whole life and currently have two dogs of my own, a Labrador called Oakley and a miniature dachshund called Lilly. Oakley came from a puppy farm, so I’ve gained a lot of real-life experience working with a more sensitive, high-energy dog. Over the past couple of years, I’ve worked with behaviourists, which has helped me better understand dog behaviour, body language, and how to keep dogs calm, settled, and comfortable. I’m also experienced in administering medication. Growing up, my family dog had diabetes and Cushing’s disease, and I was responsible for daily medication, including insulin injections. I have experience with a wide range of animals including small furries, reptiles and amphibians, birds of prey, poultry, livestock, UK wildlife and some exotics. I’m passionate about enrichment and believe it’s key to a dog’s wellbeing. I aim to provide a good balance of exercise, mental stimulation, and interaction whether that’s walks, playtime, training, or puzzle-based activities. I took my dog to some scent work classes to get his brain going and to use his natural instincts for mental stimulation. Due to the experience I have, I’m confident caring for pets with a wide range of needs. Whether your pet is energetic, more sensitive, requires medication, or just loves a cuddle, I’ll always tailor my care to suit them. I know how important it is to stay connected with your pet while you’re away, so I provide regular updates with photos and messages for peace of mind - and to show your pet enjoying their holiday just as much as you are. I’m always happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand so we can get to know each other, go over your pet’s routine, and make sure everyone feels comfortable. I am first aid trained through my previous studies at level 8, however I keep this up to date by attending CPD training days to keep my skill set up to date as a refresher. Your pet will be in the best of care at all times😊 I currently work full-time Monday to Friday, but I have a flexible schedule and can plan my own workload, allowing me to accommodate pet care where needed. I can be a little busier during the spring and summer months - I sometimes work away up to 12 days at a time, however I am quieter in the winter. I will always do my best to try and fit you in. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch - I’d love to help 🙂 Dog Boarding; Your dog will be welcomed into a loving, family style home where they’ll feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. There are 2 cats that live here and 2 dogs of my own, however they will be kept separate from your pet during their stay to ensure everyone feels relaxed and secure. There are doors on every room and extra tall baby gates on the key rooms where your dogs and my ow pets will be staying - therefore a more secure set-up to prevent escapes and/ or any animals coming in to contact with each other. There are no young children in the home, and I have a secure outdoor garden with two 6-foot fences and two lockable gates. There is also a local roam-free park just 5 minutes away, where your dog(s) can enjoy off-lead exercise, as well as relaxed on-lead walks. A meet and greet will always be arranged beforehand, and I’m happy to offer collection and drop-off for your convenience, so your dog can enjoy their own little holiday too. Your dog will never be left alone (unless previously agreed) and will be part of the daily home routine, receiving plenty of attention, affection, and care. I tailor each stay to your dog’s individual personality and needs, whether that means lots of playtime, cuddles, or enjoyable walks. I provide exclusive 1-to-1 care, meaning your pet will be the only animal(s) from an outside household in my care at any one time. This ensures consistent supervision, attention, and comfort during their stay. My goal is to make your dog feel completely at home while giving you full peace of mind that they’re in a safe and caring environment. Unfortunately, I don’t offer home visits. I live in an upstairs flat with a shared outdoor stairway and pathway, and out of respect for my downstairs neighbours’ privacy I don’t have owners visit the property. I really appreciate your understanding. I’m hoping to move within the next 1–2 years, and once I do I’d be more than happy to welcome owners to visit beforehand. Instead, I send photos of both my home and the secure garden areas, along with a copy of my dog boarding licence, so you can see exactly where your dog will be staying. Inside, your dog would rarely be left alone and would sleep in the same room as me at night. I have a raised dog bed with a soft mattress, although dogs are also welcome on the furniture both indoors and outside if that’s what they’re used to at home. House Sitting; When house sitting, I care for your dog(s) or cat(s) in the comfort of their own home, helping them feel relaxed and secure in their familiar surroundings. They will receive the same level of care and attention as they would when boarding with me. My overnight house sitting rate covers up to 12 hours of care. Any additional time outside of this is classed as extended daytime care and will be charged accordingly. I am happy to follow your pet’s usual routine and any specific requirements to ensure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for. This includes feeding, providing fresh water, cleaning bowls, walks and/or garden time, administering medication if required, plenty of play and affection. For safety, dogs are kept on a lead during walks unless in a secure, designated roam-free area. Off-lead walking may be considered once trust and a relationship have been built, or if your dog has reliable recall. I will keep you regularly updated with messages, photos, and videos, so you can feel reassured while your pet is in my care. I’m also happy to arrange a meet and greet beforehand to ensure both you and your pet feel completely comfortable. The rate shown on my profile for house sitting is for the overnight service. If you wish for your pets to be cared for in your own home (daycare / night care but in your own home) - this can be booked under ‘house sitting’. I offer a separate rate for this service which can be adjusted after you send the request through. Overnight house sitting includes standard care with the ability to leave for short periods. Pets needing full-time supervision are very welcome. For bookings outside my local area or requiring travel over a certain amount of time, a small travel fee may apply to cover time and transport. Pet collection/drop-off can also be arranged - please message to discuss. Dog walking; I’m always happy to help where I can! My availability can vary during the spring and summer months due to occasional work commitments away from home. If you get in touch, I’m happy to share my upcoming availability and see how I can fit around your needs. During autumn and winter, I’m generally much more consistent and available for regular bookings. In spring and summer, I’m best suited for occasional, short-term, or emergency dog walking requests. Where key handovers are needed (Drop-in Visits etc), keys provided during the meet & greet, via lockbox, or posted through the letterbox after the service has been completed is free of charge. If separate trips are required for key collection or return, a small fee may apply to cover additional travel time. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch 🐾

About: I’m a proud dog mum to Rosie, my friendly 3-year-old Cavapoo, who loves the company of other dogs and gets along well with dogs of all sizes and personalities. I regularly care for dogs in my home and understand how important it is to provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment while owners are away. I have a spacious three-bedroom home with a secure, fully fenced garden, as well as plenty of beautiful local walks nearby to keep your dog happy, active, and well cared for. Your dog will be treated as part of the family and receive lots of attention, affection, and exercise during their stay. Dogs are allowed on all furniture and we have no children in our home. It tends to just be myself at home as my partner works offshore. Dog care fits naturally into my daily routine as I work from home full-time and manage my own diary, which gives me plenty of flexibility to provide attention, companionship, walks, and toilet breaks throughout the day. My partner works away regularly, so it’s usually just me and my friendly Cavapoo, Rosie, at home. Rosie loves having canine company and enjoys playing in our secure garden as well as exploring the many lovely local walks nearby. This means your dog will never be left alone and will be treated as part of our family during their stay I have a secure, fully fenced garden and a very dog-friendly home where dogs can relax, play, and feel comfortable. I have experience caring for puppies as young as 14 weeks old, as well as adult dogs of different breeds and personalities. My home is calm, safe, and welcoming, with no children or other pets apart from my Cavapoo Rosie. I always aim to provide a loving environment where dogs feel settled, secure, and part of the family.

What can I say Nyla had a fantastic first visit with Kieran and rumble. She loved it much she tried to get out of the car to run back. That’s the first time Nyla has been looked after by anyone and she loved it. I got updates throughout her stay and photos which was so reassuring. I wouldn’t leave her with anyone else going forward, and she has a friend for life in rumble who is just a lovely friendly dog. She will be back soon and thank you once again so glad to have found you.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in Scotland may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
