Doggy Day Care in South Lanarkshire

“This was the first time that I booked day care with Joseph. It was great to have an initial meet and greet in the park with Joseph and Alba and two other dogs who are sometimes in Joseph's care. Joseph asked me relevant questions about my cockapoo (Toaty) whilst also keeping a watchful eye on the dogs in his care. He also shared really useful information with me to help me decide the suitability of care that would be provided. My initial sense was that Joseph was empathetic towards dogs (and humans) and aware of different dog behaviours and how to manage these. Prior to day of care, I sent Joseph some more info about Toaty e.g. normal routine and behaviours, commands that he knows, vet details etc. On the day of care, Toaty was met at the door by Joseph and other dogs of similar size; initially Toaty seemed a bit overwhelmed but within minutes went off to the garden to socialise. Joseph was reassuring and off I went to work. On return, Toaty gave me a big welcome and Joseph gave me an informative overview of the day. Toaty appears to have settled fine and I have no concerns about future bookings we have with Joseph who seemed responsible, experienced and caring. Note: it was a little bit difficult to find the house because as a new build property, it didn't show up on car satnav, so needed to put in another nearby street name to find the route.”

“Eve was wonderful from start to finish. She was quick with correspondence and really clearly has a passion for dogs! She offered herself to meet ramba at her home and let me see where ramba would be hanging out. She was so patient with him and they appear to have made a connection! Eve was so so understanding when we were running late from our evening out. We will be definitely rebooking soon enough 🙂”

“Sofia took really good care of our 8 month old Cockapoo. She asked all the right questions beforehand and was interested in his habits/routines so she could stick to them as best as possible. Our boy can be a little anxious if left alone so Sofia made sure to keep him company all day and she provided lots of photos/updates to show he was relaxed and napping etc. I would have no hesitation booking with Sofia again and intend to do so when required! About: I have worked with dogs and cats for over 13 years in both a professional and home environment this has allowed me to gain experience with a large number of different breeds temperaments and health requirements of different dogs and cats, I now work part time at home and would love to continue to provide a safe and experienced environment for your pets! When I am not working I enjoy hiking and walking and can tailor the day to suit your pets needs while keeping you updated throughout the day, I am fully first aid trained and have a secure shared garden and multiple parks near my flat! I work part time from home and arrange my schedule to suit me which means I have plenty of time to meet your animals needs with daily walks and plenty of attention I have a safe and secure flat where my own dog happily stayed out his days and where many other dogs I have boarded have enjoyed their time, I have local parks an enclosed shared garden and plenty of time for walks!

“I honestly can’t thank Magdalena enough, she was warm, knowledgeable and accommodating! I was very nervous leaving my senior frenchie Delia with someone for the first time in 10 years.. she’s also starting to need additional care and attention as her health and mind are starting to show signs of aging. Magdalena handled me and Delia like a real professional! I was very anxious but she explained her plan for introducing Delia to her home and sent me updates and reassurances that completely put me at ease. I have complete confidence in Magdalena and look forward to Delia being able to visit again soon :)”

About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was 13. I previously had a basset hound and three chihuahuas. I currently have a lovely little pug x collie mix. I've looked after friends and family's dogs previously too so I'd be more than happy to look after your lovely doggies whatever the age! Me and my partner both work full time however we both work from home three days a week and alternate our days so someone is always home, if there is an exception we'd let you know and we're available all weekend so we have plenty of time to give love and attention to your little ones. I have a fenced garden and a lovely girl here to keep your pups company. Dogs are allowed on furniture and beds, but if they need to be crated we do have a large size crate at home in our bedroom. Please be aware your dog will never be left unsupervised with our child, either me or my partner will be there at all times.

About: I’ve helped looked after my family dog for 15 years. Since I moved out of my family home, I’ve been missing her company and my walking companion! I looked after her from when she was a puppy through to her senior years. I’m therefore comfortable with energetic/younger dogs as well as going at a slower pace for older dogs. I work full time Monday-Friday, however I work at least 3 days from home so I’m around for regular walks. I am usually free on evenings and weekends. I do not have any other pets so your dog would be the only pet in the home. I live in a ground floor flat with secure entry and I have access to a shared garden area.

“Jamie offers to a great support to those who want to provide their fluffy family members a safe, fun and loving time. His experience is evident (from previously being a dog owner, but also how has been with my dog). I own a high energy Staffordshire Bull cross, who can sometimes exhibit reactivity in new situations, but Jamie was made sure he was well-looked after and supported him with a calm and confident manner on walks. I also think it’s really important to note that he helped maintain my dog’s training cues/routine. Whilst I don’t suspect every dog needs such a prescriptive routine, it was so valuable to have behavioural reminders reinforced with a new person/situation. Jamie is very responsive to our messaging and is highly reliable. He has provided us with dog walking and dog sitting services whenever we have required. I think it is great that Jamie is available whenever we have plans to travel or even when the pup has needed someone to check-in and give him a walk. Our dog is always so happy to see him! It is clear Jamie has such a huge heart when it comes to dogs, I would highly recommend him.”
