I received plenty of updates and lots of lovely photos throughout their stay, so I always knew they were happy and well cared for. The children were wonderful with the dogs too. They were so patient and respectful, giving them space to settle in and letting the dogs come to them in their own time. Once they were comfortable, they got lots of cuddles, attention, and playtime, and it was clear they were having a great time. I had both of them for for years but Robbie passed away at age 18 and Mac was 20. I’ve also cat sitted for many of my friends when they have went out on holiday. I worked at a veterinary practice when I was at school as an assistant and also volunteered at the dog and cat home in Bothwell. I’m used to being around animals and although I can’t have one of my own as a I life alone and work mon-Thurs long days it isn’t feasible for me. That’s why I would love to do rover and look after your fur babies. I would also taking any requests that are longer if given notice.

About: I recently had a Bernese Mountain Dog called Harris who unfortunately we lost at the age of 11 months, this is still very raw however I still have so much love to give to dogs! I work 2 days in the office and 3 days at home, free most weekends all day and night to watch dogs if and when required. Depending on circumstances, I am happy to board in others’ houses depending on the relationships built! We have a camera set up for our dog and I wouldn’t mind if other owners do this too! I work Monday to Friday which means I can dedicate my full time and attention to your furry ones at the weekend. We already have a Labrador at home so he would be more than willing to share his adventures with your little guys!! We have a fenced garden area in a very quiet area with little traffic passing through. They will be treated like another child in our care and never out of our sight!! I work throughout midweek so weekends are for the furry friends. This allows me to dedicate my sole focus to them and all of their needs We have a fully fenced in garden in an low traffic area which is perfect for housing your loved furry family members and keeping them safe and secure
About: ** New to this app, Happy to do a meet a greet before hand to make sure I am a good fit for you, or alternatively please reach out message or phone call** I’ve had dogs since the age of 6. I’ve always been an avid animal lover. From school I worked in a veterinary practice as an assistant for a few years before going off to study at university. I’ve had 4 dogs and 2 cats. All of them I have treated like my children. Currently I work longer days on Monday-Thurs which doesn’t allow me to have a pet of my own. However I do have availability on Friday - Sunday and if given notice I would happy take requests that are outwith these days as I love the aspect of caring for an animal. Please reach out to me if you have any questions and il be so happy to board your furry babies! I have availability at weekends and every second Friday. I don’t have many plans at the weekend as I like to potter around go for walks visit cafes and new places. I would adore a pet of my own but because of my longer days it isn’t feasible at this time, which is why I want to do Rover. I would love to spend time with animals and give them the attention and trust they deserve! As an avid animal lover I have worked in a veterinary practice and have also volunteered at the dog and cat shelter. I own my home in a lovely quiet neighbourhood with no traffic. I have my own back garden which is high fenced and gets the sunshine all day as it’s south facing. I live in a town where there are lots of fields and lots of trails to take your doggies out for long walks, I also enjoy taking my brothers dogs out to surrounding beaches as they love the ocean and running on the sand. I enjoy meeting up with friends who have dogs and we go to cafes to get coffee and of course the dogs come too. I live along and keep my warm cosy quiet and a perfect environment for those little ones that are extra timid.
About: I’ve had animals all of my life. From puppies and kittens to senior animals and strays. I’ve always found animals take to me well, it’s like they can tell I prefer them to humans. Working part-time can be a great way to balance responsibilities while still having enough free time to pursue other interests, like pet sitting. With a flexible schedule, I can dedicate my afternoons or weekends to caring for pets, ensuring they get the attention and love they need when their owners are away. This not only provides a rewarding experience but also allows me to earn some extra income while enjoying the company of furry friends. Having had 2 dogs and 3 cats. I have smashed the safety aspect of an in closed garden. I tend to adore every animal I ever meet & typically prefer them to people.
About: Both of us have grown up around dogs, with myself having two Lhasa Apso’s and Andrew several Collies and a German Pointer. Over this time we have learned to read and understand pet behaviour, ensuring they are well cared for, given plenty of love, attention, exercise and of course treats! We currently have a 1 year old cockapoo who has settled in so well in her time with us, working together we have toilet trained her, and trained her to sit/paw etc all before 4 months of age! Her nature is very relaxed and laid back for the most part with bursts of puppy energy, she attends doggy day care a few times a month allowing her to become socialised around other dogs. We have alot of time to give to our beloved puppy companion as I have reduced hours in work, and Andrew works from home the days I am at work! We have an enclosed front and back garden, which we have puppy proofed from our own little escape artist! We take our pup out for several walk in a day, allowing her plenty space to run, chase balls and enjoy all the smells! With our work/life balance ensuring we are around for our own dog we feel we also have time to give to care for someone else’s dog, and give them the same love and attention as our own! Being around all day means we have plenty of time for fun games, walks, and training! We value space and an engaging environment for pups in our care allowing them to run and be free (or on a long line lead). Having an enclosed garden means your dog can spend as much time outside as they wish, our little one loves sitting outside and enjoying the breeze! This also means that your pup is safe from any traffic that may pass (we live on a quiet street so this would be minimal) as we understand that can be a concern. We have plenty of space in our home for another dog to board, although we do ask the dog is crate trained as we understand this would be a new environment and this would ensure the safety of your pet overnight, whilst providing a safe space should they feel they need it! We love capturing moments of our girl, and with your permission would love to do the same with your pup to send you updates!

“Koko and Yoyo were absolutely fantastic with my two Shih Tzus. They settled in almost immediately, which really put my mind at ease. I received plenty of updates and lots of lovely photos throughout their stay, so I always knew they were happy and well cared for. The children were wonderful with the dogs too. They were so patient and respectful, giving them space to settle in and letting the dogs come to them in their own time. Once they were comfortable, they got lots of cuddles, attention, and playtime, and it was clear they were having a great time. I felt completely confident that my dogs were in safe, caring hands, and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave them with Koko’s family again. “We left Maxwell with Sara and her partner Calum for 5 days and we would highly recommend them to anyone. Max is epileptic and requires a little extra care than most dogs, which they handled with ease. We were kept updated constantly with pictures and videos, so we were never worried. You could tell they were a perfect fit for max. He is now curled up at the end of the bed, which is a very good sign. Don’t know who had a better holiday, us or young Max. “Allan helped me out very last minute after our original dog sitter cancelled. We arranged a meet up and dropped marble up off at the arranged time and he had a blast! Allan send lots of lovely updates and pictures which kept our minds at ease. We also really appreciated him letting us know when marble seemed to have a bit of an upset tummy but also reassured us that he was okay. I would highly recommend Allan to anyone looking for someone to love their dog!”
