“Bridget was fantastic! Her communication was great and she managed to put my very anxious mini dachshund at ease while we were gone. I will definitely be in touch in future & would highly recommend :)”

“Colette was a perfect sitter for our puppy while we were out for an evening! It was his first time being away from us so we were a bit nervous to leave him but Colette reassured us he would be fine. She was very kind and understanding of him being a little fussy while we left, and kept us updated while we were away which help us to not worry so much!”

About: Hi, my name is Katie and I'm currently a full time, freelance musician based in Dennistoun, Glasgow. I am also an avid outdoors enthusiast and love being outside in nature. Most importantly, I am hugely passionate about animals and their care and welfare. Ever since I was young, my family had pets-mostly cats, but we also had a dog at one point and some goldfish. From a very young age, I've had experience of caring for and taking care of animals. Over the years, I have also looked after and cared for pets within my family and my partner's family, when they have been on holiday; this has included cats, chihuahuas, a hamster and a Border Collie. I often take my Mum's dog out for walks and will also care for him when she is needing help. I have extensive experience in dog walking, as well as in general animal care and welfare, but I've also had some experience in administering medication, grooming and cleaning etc. Mostly, I just love looking after pets, it brings me a lot of joy, happiness and contenment. I''m currently a full time, freelance musician based in Dennistoun, Glasgow. I sing and play keys in my wedding band, as well as a soloist, playing weddings, events, functions, bars, pubs, restaurants and care homes all over Scotland. This mainly takes place during the weekends, mostly the evenings. However, I can also have daytime and weekday gigs, although not as regularly. I mostly have availability during the week/weekdays. However, I do also have weekend availability from the morning to the afternoon. I wouldn't be able to look after any pets in my home as my landlord is allergic. However, in the pet owner's home, I will always ensure safety, care and the wellbeing of the pets are maintained. I will always adhere to the owner's instructions and ensure the utmost care is taken. I always show respect towards the owner's requests and will only do what I am asked to do. The wellbeing of the animals are hugely important to me and I always strive to maintain this.
About: I have always been around dogs my whole life, including at home, growing up with big dogs such as German shepards, New Foundlands, and currently a Cane Corso. I have also looked after many of my family members dogs, walking and playing with them! I had the pleasure of walking dogs last summer through rover which gave me amazing experience which I am grateful for! Im currently a student who has finished for the summer and working part time, therefore I have some free time to walk dogs throughout the week. From my experience last year walking and drop in visits through rover I can’t wait to be with dogs again now I have much more free time! I love being active and since I now live away from home and my dog, I would love to be able to have experience and be with other dogs! I’m aware many people don’t have a lot of free time to be able to provide the exercise for the dog they need due to work and commitments which is why I have decided to start getting involved. I am always very safe when with a dog, being aware of there needs, recognising body language and thorough in making sure I know about the dog I will be walking, such as their tendencies and likes and dislikes. It’s important for me that dogs get to have fun and be active.
“Ellie was amazing with our pups,it was the first time that we were completely relaxed on our holidays knowing our doggies are at home, receiving first class care. Ellie updated us on a daily basis, and sent us pictures of walks or just relaxing at home. It really put my mind at ease, that she always replied to all my messages ASAP and I knew she loved our girls and cared for them as if they were her own. Thank you again Ellie and see you next time ☺️”

“An absolute superstar, thanks again Sidney! She stayed in our home for 1 week taking care of our dog Charlie, sent regular updates and photos and left our house is such a nice and clean state. Everything went so smoothly and we left on our first holiday together with our children knowing Charlie was left in safe hands with lots of attention, cuddles and calmness ☺️ would without hesitation book you again and recommend you to whoever was looking for a reliable and kind soul to look after your four legged best friend 💞”

“Ian has a really lovely natural way with dogs. Loki took to him instantly. I felt reassured that Loki was being well looked after whilst I attended my mum's funeral. He followed instructions. I will certainly book him again. Thank you”

“Caitlin is amazing!! So professional, provided loads of updates and photos, having 2 big dogs can sometimes be intimidating but from the first meet our dogs loved Caitlin! We will definitely be using Caitlin again, she went above and beyond.”

“Rick was fantastic with our dog. She can be unsure of people at first, but he was calm, patient, and really tuned into her, which made all the difference. He stuck to her routine exactly as we had asked and kept us updated throughout, giving us real peace of mind. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again.”

About: ** New to this app, Happy to do a meet a greet before hand to make sure I am a good fit for you, or alternatively please reach out message or phone call** I’ve had dogs since the age of 6. I’ve always been an avid animal lover. From school I worked in a veterinary practice as an assistant for a few years before going off to study at university. I’ve had 4 dogs and 2 cats. All of them I have treated like my children. Currently I work longer days on Monday-Thurs which doesn’t allow me to have a pet of my own. However I do have availability on Friday - Sunday and if given notice I would happy take requests that are outwith these days as I love the aspect of caring for an animal. Please reach out to me if you have any questions and il be so happy to board your furry babies! I have availability at weekends and every second Friday. I don’t have many plans at the weekend as I like to potter around go for walks visit cafes and new places. I would adore a pet of my own but because of my longer days it isn’t feasible at this time, which is why I want to do Rover. I would love to spend time with animals and give them the attention and trust they deserve! As an avid animal lover I have worked in a veterinary practice and have also volunteered at the dog and cat shelter. I own my home in a lovely quiet neighbourhood with no traffic. I have my own back garden which is high fenced and gets the sunshine all day as it’s south facing. I live in a town where there are lots of fields and lots of trails to take your doggies out for long walks, I also enjoy taking my brothers dogs out to surrounding beaches as they love the ocean and running on the sand. I enjoy meeting up with friends who have dogs and we go to cafes to get coffee and of course the dogs come too. I live along and keep my warm cosy quiet and a perfect environment for those little ones that are extra timid.

“Leah is a fantastic dog sitter! Dougie our Westie, loved her and trusted her instantly! We were anxious about leaving our dog with someone who wasn’t family but Leah put all our worries to ease. Leah has great experience working with animals, you can tell she has a passion for taking care of them. She showed up on time and treated our home with the upmost respect. Leah done a meet and greet a few days beforehand and took the time to learn about Dougie. We look forward to using Leah’s services again. Would recommend. Thanks Leah, for treating Dougie like your own. Hopefully we see you soon.”

“Brooke and her friend are lovely young ladies and the dogs took to them very quickly which isn't always the case, as they can be a little standoffish. The dogs were well looked after and I got updates and photos, which was a bonus!! Thank you Brooke!!!”

“Maia was absolutely wonderful, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. From the very first message, she was warm, responsive, and incredibly communicative, which immediately put me at ease. She arrived right on time and took such thoughtful, attentive care of Sunny. She made sure he had a lovely walk, plenty of affection, and lots of cuddles, all the things that matter so much to me when trusting someone with him. When we returned home, Sunny was completely relaxed and content, which spoke volumes. It was clear he had a genuinely lovely time and had been cared for with kindness and attention throughout. I am extremely selective about who looks after Sunny, he is not just my dog, he is my lifeline and deeply precious to me and Maia exceeded every expectation. If you are in the Glasgow area and looking for someone truly trustworthy, kind, and reliable, I would wholeheartedly recommend Maia. If she is available, don’t even think twice, just book her. She is absolutely fantastic.”

“Diane was great with our dog! She came and met him before which was great for her to meet him and settled our nerves! Gave us updates on the day and was really accommodating. Would 100% recommend her to anyone!”

About: With 15 years of my own dog (sadly passed 2 years ago) I now petsit a little adorable white dog and it just brings me so much joy and company in my house that I want to get more pet friends. Their is a dog park right across the road from my house where I usually throw a ball round with dogs twice a day, I also try to get out to Strathclyde park or around eurocentral for a long walk to tire us all out. I currently work part time so I have a flexible schedule that I can work around to suit the dogs needs and ensure they are getting exercised first thing in the morning, lunch time, afternoon and evening. I love to talk to dogs, sounds crazy but I live alone so company would be nice when im home. I keep treats in the house but treats and food are discussed with you to ensure I dont overstep.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs on and off for a little over ten years. This includes seniors, kittens, some puppies, and even a cat with no eyes. I cannot drive at the moment as I don’t have a UK license but am working on that! I’m looking to work part-time, preferably no weekends (unless of course I’m watching a pet in their own home) Just looking to bring in extra income I cannot care for pets in my own home as my border collie does not get along with other dogs or cats :( But I’m great!

“Zoe looked after our dog and 2 cats in our home while we were away from Tuesday to Thursday. We would highly recommend Zoe, she was happy to conduct meet and greet before we left to make sure it was going to be a good fit for all. She turned up when agreed and took great care of them all and stayed in touch and sent frequent photos. On our return all three pets were settled, happy and were clearly taken well care of. Even our little female cat who is timid and usually hides up stairs had been down sitting on her knee and sleeping on top of her. Would definitely book again and would recommend. Our house was neat and tidy when we returned you'd never know there had been someone here, was exactly as we has left it.”

“Angela looked after Sammy for us on Friday 3rd April for our sons wedding. I can honestly say we were so happy when we met her she was so friendly and most of all Sammy really liked her which is great because he's quite nervous of strangers. I will certainly book Angela again .”

“We were lucky enough to have Jo look after our two cats when we were away. She moved into our home, kept everything in perfect order and was brilliant with them. Jo sent us regular updates which was such a relief. Her messages and photos gave us peace of mind and made us laugh. Jo is reliable, trustworthy, kind, and clearly a natural with animals.”

First time using this service and of course meeting Pauline. Was so impressed! Pauline came to meet us and Snickers prior to the stay and we were more than happy and comfortable to go off on our holiday weekend and leave Snickers in Pauline’s very capable hands. During the time Pauline kept us updated on how Snickers was doing and sent lots of lovely pics of his gorgeous walks. He even met a new friend and seemed to have a lovely break himself while we were away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pauline and will certainly be booking her again in the future. Thank you so much! It was a relief and allowed us to enjoy our time away without worrying about how wee Snickers was doing without us.

Mollie watched our 2 dogs and did a great job. Our youngest dog can be very anxious and Mollie gave him his space and time to get used to things. It was a fairly short notice booking and Mollie was super responsive to messages in the lead up and during the house sitting. Thank you again
