“Samantha met Captain (A big German Shepherd) a couple of times before the sitting to make sure she was suitable for the job. Captain took to her instantly and he was relaxed around her. I was happy to allow Samantha to look after Captain in my home during out holidays. She kept me updated with photos and information and Captain seemed to be enjoying his play times with Samantha. He was relaxed and enjoyed his time with her and I will be using her again in the near future. I would recommend Samantha to sit any type of dog if she can look after my big German Shepherd then she is capable of looking after any type of dog. Thank you Samantha”

About: With 15 years of my own dog (sadly passed 2 years ago) I now petsit a little adorable white dog and it just brings me so much joy and company in my house that I want to get more pet friends. Their is a dog park right across the road from my house where I usually throw a ball round with dogs twice a day, I also try to get out to Strathclyde park or around eurocentral for a long walk to tire us all out. I currently work part time so I have a flexible schedule that I can work around to suit the dogs needs and ensure they are getting exercised first thing in the morning, lunch time, afternoon and evening. I love to talk to dogs, sounds crazy but I live alone so company would be nice when im home. I keep treats in the house but treats and food are discussed with you to ensure I dont overstep.

About: Growing up, I was surrounded by dogs! Born into a household that already had 3! Very quickly I learned that dogs really are a girls best friend. From volunteering at Dogs Trust, to driving 8 hours to pick up my mum and dad’s beloved Cockapoo, there’s no length I wouldn’t go to to show some love! Since moving out, I’ve taken every opportunity to keep my house full of love and doggy cuddles! From looking after my friends, neighbours, friends of friends, dogs, it’s what makes my heart happy. For 3 years I’ve helped my flatmate, who has since moved out, with Rover! From teaching dogs recall and demands, to bathing them when they inevitably find that one middle puddle in the whole park! There’s no dog too big or too small for the love and care I can offer them, from puppies, to oldies, tiny little pocket size, to a boisterous bouncy lab who just wants to run and have fun! Whatever your lovely dogs personality, they’ll always have a new best friend! I work 9-5, however have my evenings off and can work from home, as well as being free on weekends! Would love to spend more time with some gorgeous pets! I always go out walks in my free time, so ideally would have company with a beautiful pup! I have had dogs all my life so know very well what they need, how to give all the love, and keep them entertained and calm!

About: I am patient and experienced with dogs, having spent over a year helping to care for a former flatmate’s rescue dog, including daily walks, feeding, and sitting. I also have a dog of my own, so I understand how much trust you are placing in a walker. I’m calm, reliable, and genuinely love looking after dogs! I work part-time and do rotational shift work so I am pretty flexible with dates/times to look after your dog. I have my work schedule provided months in advance so can accommodate bookings easily. I live in a flat which provides space for your dog to roam around and feel comfortable in. There is no garden but I’m very close to large amounts of green space (> 5 min walk).

“Zoe looked after our dog and 2 cats in our home while we were away from Tuesday to Thursday. We would highly recommend Zoe, she was happy to conduct meet and greet before we left to make sure it was going to be a good fit for all. She turned up when agreed and took great care of them all and stayed in touch and sent frequent photos. On our return all three pets were settled, happy and were clearly taken well care of. Even our little female cat who is timid and usually hides up stairs had been down sitting on her knee and sleeping on top of her. Would definitely book again and would recommend. Our house was neat and tidy when we returned you'd never know there had been someone here, was exactly as we has left it.”

I spend around 8 days each month working away in Orkney, and the rest of my time is split between working remotely and in the office. With enough notice, I can easily arrange my working plans around bookings, giving me plenty of flexibility to be at home with your dog. I’m also available most evenings and weekends and love getting out for plenty of walks! 🐾 I live in a two-bedroom flat with access to a shared garden and a large park less than 10 metres from my door, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks and outdoor time. About: I’m taking care of dogs from last 3 years. I would always love to give my attention and companionship to the dogs. Having in-depth knowledge of animal care and training techniques. I’m mostly working from home and I have a very friendly welcoming dog who can give your pets a very good companionship besides me. I have lot of backyard space to make them play and have good enough time to take them out for walks for every 2 or 3 hours. I am staying in a detached house with a good fencing in the back yard and a welcoming dog who loves to play with her mates.

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I grew up with around a range of dogs, from boxer dogs to New Foundlands. I’m comfortable around dogs all shapes and sizes and regularly walk big dogs so I have no trouble with them on a leash. Furthermore, I regularly pet sit and walk my friends and family’s pets when they are on holiday or at work or simply due to health conditions that prevent them from taking their dogs out walks. I am looking to take on more pet sitting, walking and drop ins therefore I have alot of availability within this role. I hope to gain regular clients which would ensure pets get to know me and feel comfortable around me! I like to receive a list of any requirements the dog or cat needs, from diet to nap times to how often and far they need walked. I also like to know how sociable the dogs are for walks so I can manage this.

About: Not had my own dogs before but have looked after friends previously. Happy to do multiple big walks a day as required and even runs if they like that! I currently work doing workshops in schools which is mostly term time and during the day. Some days there isn’t any work in a school and just working from home one or two days a week I have a large grassy garden for a pet to run around in which is secure. My fiancé and I also regularly take walks in the week and larger walks on the weekend and do love to hike so if your pet enjoys big long walks we can happily get them bagging some munros!
