I aim to keep routines as close to home as possible so dogs feel comfortable, settled, and stress-free. I have completed several animal care certifications including Animal Care, Stray and Feral Welfare Management, Introduction to Kennel and Cattery Management, Introduction to Feline Care, Introduction to Cat Grooming and Health, Introduction to Cat Behaviour, and Introduction to Animal Care. This training helps me understand animal behaviour, recognise stress signals, and provide calm, attentive care for every pet.

About: I have many years experience with pet care, including working in a Veterinary Practice, dog walking, check in’s and even overnight stays! I currently work in a local, independent pet shop where I love getting to meet the different pets that come in & get cuddles throughout the day. Through my experience in the pet shop I am educated in dietary requirements and the medical wellbeing of all types of pets and can give recommendations based on your pets needs. I can also provide lots of natural tasty treats! Everyone who has met me, have said they fully trust me with their pet and couldn’t picture anyone else more suited to take care of them and to rely on. I currently own a 2 year old Collie named Clover who is my whole world :) I currently work at a small business Animal shop a couple of days a week. I am open for bookings on Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday, Saturday and Sunday's, offering single and group walks. In the near future I am planning on making dog walking my full time job. I have always had a family dog growing up, and I currently own a Broderick Collie with my fiancé. So I have tons of experience caring for dogs and love being around them! By working in a Veterinary Practice, I have been trained in handling, health and safety and taking care of the pets we had in care. Over the years I have had friends and family reach out to myself to look after their pets including dogs, cats, fish and chickens. At home I also own guinea pigs and rabbits, so I have had a wide variety of animal care and experience.

About: I have taken care of many family friends pets, comfortable with any temperament, can do daily check ins and walks or overnight stays when needed, student veterinary nurse so have gained extra handling experience. I am also currently working on a farm so spend most days looking after lots of animals including overnight care when the farmer is away. Currently working part time on farm from 8am-1pm Monday- Thursday and Sundays, able to do drop in visits/ walks before work. Come September I am back at uni 2 days a week and then do online classes other days which means I am able to do multiple drop ins/ walks a day and overnights when needed. Comfortable staying in people’s homes when needed, can cater to any and all needs of pets. If dogs have routines of going to enclosed dog parks I am able to stick to routine as I can drive and have had no incidents or claims.

About: I've had both cats and dogs all throughout my life and I have plenty of experience looking after animals. I regularly look after my family and friends pets and I love having a furry companion by my side. I live in a house with a large garden with lots of room to play and all animals are welcome on our sofas and bed if that's where they are most comfortable. Also, if you'd rather we kept them off furniture to keep consistent with training at home then I'm more than happy to follow your rules. I work from home full time so I have plenty of availability and I'll be around to keep your dog company, with lots of stimulation and walks. I'm comfortable with large dogs and will do my very best to accommodate any special requests or concerns you might have. “Jessica took excellent care of our older Staffy during her 4-night/5-day stay in our home. He requires medication and had a slight limp (caused by a little too much running on the beach), so he needed a little extra attention and care. Jessica was gentle, attentive, and clearly mindful of his needs throughout. She managed his medications reliably, ensured he was comfortable, and was sensible about taking him for walks when he was up to them. We returned to a happy, relaxed dog. We would be happy to have Jessica care for him again and would confidently recommend her to others.”

About: Having gained a level 2 and 3 in animal care and management, and then a BSc (Hons) in Animal behaviour and welfare, I have worked with various species of animals from cats and dogs to horses, sheep, pigs, bearded dragons, geckos, and multiple aquatic animals of the like. I have been an animal management and care specialist for a HE college, then moved to a veterinary specialist hospital as a technician. I have now turned to human nursing post covid. I currently work as a nurse, from 0830 till 5 pm Monday to Friday, I am free nearly every weekend. I am more than happy to have your furry child over night or to look in on them after work or on weekends. Having an open-plan flat, the rooms are filled with natural light; CCTV will be an option, but daily updates will be included as standard. I will insist on password pickup (you and I agree on a secret password if someone other than the person who drops them off is picking them up). If visiting your home, I will be wearing body-worn CCTV and will text or video chat during my visit to ensure that you are aware that I have attended to your goodest boy/girl.

The care she took of them for the day we booked was perfect, we left them knowing they were in the best of care. She played with them and snuggled with them and they were so happy with her. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so the pet feels comfortable and secure. I pay attention to feeding times, fresh water, walks, and any specific instructions given. I take a calm and patient approach with animals and always treat them with care and respect. I understand that every pet has their own personality, so I take time to make sure they feel safe and relaxed around me. I am based in North Ayrshire and am reliable, tidy, and respectful when visiting someone’s home. I always aim to provide trustworthy and consistent care so owners feel confident their pets are in good hands.
