House Sitting in East Ayrshire

About: I currently live and work in Kilmarnock town centre, with a flexible schedule, and I am based here long-term. You’re always welcome to visit your pets, and I’m happy to send regular photos or videos to keep you updated. I have two beloved dogs (a Border Collie and a Bichon Frise), both three years old, whom I raised myself from two months old. They are currently cared for by my mother in China. I have gained solid hands-on experience providing dog walking and pet care for local residents, including in Kilmarnock and Kilmaurs. To me, pets are family. I’m patient, attentive, and sensitive to their needs and emotions. I also continue to support stray dog rescue efforts in China, which reflects my long-term commitment and genuine love for animals. I currently work part-time in a takeaway shop for a few hours in the evening. I have my own room and am free throughout the day, which allows me plenty of time to play with and take care of dogs. I will provide the best possible care for your dog while keeping your home clean, safe, and well respected. I am responsible, trustworthy, and treat both pets and homes with great care.

“Jennifer is just THE BEST. We booked her to stay in our home with our dog, a staffie named Ringo, for two weeks and we could not have asked for a better experience. She visited us not once but twice (at our request) prior to the booking to ensure we were confident and comfortable. Ringo had the time of his life with Jennifer. She took him on so many walking adventures – and she provided photos and videos of them every single day. Ringo says she was a magnificent cuddler, too. In the past, we kennelled him at a “luxury” kennel but we worried about how much time he was spending alone. It always put a damper on our trips away as we worried about him and this time, we had no worries at all. Jennifer communicated with us multiple times each day. There were a couple of unexpected events (power outage for one) and Jennifer handled them with grace. We were relaxed and happy because we knew Ringo was, too.”

“Phoebe was so happy to see Sydney she was bouncing around and ran down stairs to meet her making happy noises . She was well looked after again and was well exercised with her ball which she loves . We got plenty pictures to ease our minds which showed us Phoebe was having such a good time without us . This is our third time using Sydney and are already looking to rebook for our nxt holiday . Would recommend Sydney to anyone needing a sitter and are happy to have her stay in our home to look after Phoebe in her own space makes it so much easier when we go away she’s not to upset about us leaving as she has her friend to come look after her”

“Taya was absolutely fantastic stepping in last minute before I went away on holiday. She went above and beyond and really appreciated everything she did while I was away. Poppy is a very fussy, stubborn dog and not sure of strangers but Taya had sat for poppy before so was pleased I could book her again. I felt happy and confident that poppy was getting on fab while away with all the updates and a surprise that she was eating her food as she is usually stubborn and can go days without eating so I knew that she was very relaxed and comfortable with Taya when she told me she was eating. Absolutely amazing experience with Taya, would recommend 100%.”

He requires medication and had a slight limp (caused by a little too much running on the beach), so he needed a little extra attention and care. About: I have moved into a new house in April 2026 there is 7acres we are working on to make it into a dog run and fun place for dogs to stay. We provide a different service than most people we treat your pups like our own and listen to what you tell us about them. About: As a long term owner & lover of hounds, I have a deep understanding of their unique needs & sensitivities. I’m home-based & with mine most of the time, so I decided to open my doors to more. I’ve found it can often be challenging to find sitters who truly understand how these beings tick. I’m definitely a hounds over humans kind of person & never tire of spending time around them & getting to learn about their quirks. I specialise in the care of Greyhounds, Whippets, Saluki’s, Italian Greyhound's, Galgos, Deerhounds, lurchers & at the opposite end of the spectrum- little Dachshunds. I have owned a Deerhound in my time, & currently own two Saluki’s & a little sausage. I also have years of experience under my belt with my sister’s rescue Greyhounds, who each came with their own stories & considerations to navigate. My Saluki’s enjoy being around other hounds, though they are well versed in understanding that the final word belongs to the Sausage! (this also applies to the humans in the house…) I work from home & am around for the hounds 24/7. I am incredibly fortunate to have access to a secure dog field each morning, so a typical day involves giving them a free run in the morning & back for chill time. I’m located opposite a park so extra mooches if required are readily available. I’m guilty of going a little overboard to create a calm space for hounds to relax. We have beds everywhere & they are free to roam in & out of the fully fenced garden as & when they please (when dry of course). On good days they’re free to lounge in the sun. For indoor snooze time, snuggle blankets are non-negotiable & relaxing dog music is often played. Ridiculous I know, but they love it! If you require sitting in your own home, I would be keen to learn all about your hounds routine & needs, & will happily follow their rule book.

About: I’ve owned dogs since a very young age. I’m obsessed with any animals big or small and love to care for them. I own my own horses aswell so know what hard work is like. I currently work in a doggie day care for the past 3years now and love my job I currently work 4 days a week. The rest of my days are available for me to spend loads of time with your pets and give them the best care possible The safety of your pet will always be my priority! I am confident handling large dog breeds such as Great Danes, Rottweilers, and Bullmastiffs, and I ensure every pet in my care receives not only proper supervision but also plenty of affection, attention, and comfort. I also have extensive experience with cats of all breeds and temperaments, including Sphynx, Ragdolls, and Maine Coons. Each cat is treated with patience, kindness, and respect for their unique personality. Your pet’s wellbeing is my top priority, and you can trust they will be cared for as if they were my own. I’m part time working mum and fit my visits / walks in around the school run, I’m happy to be flexible with dates and times with notice. My home has a large fenced garden, and live close to parks and countryside walks, I will treat your home with respect and your pets like my own, I can offer solo walks or group walks and I’m happy to care for multiple pets.

About: I’ve spent my whole life around dogs, from family pets to working farm dogs and caring for dogs in a dog day care. With a canine first aid certificate and hands-on experience, I provide safe, loving, and expert care that goes above and beyond. I work a 4 on 4 off rota and during my days off, your pups have all my attention! Whether it’s an adventure to the beach or a night in watching movies, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend my time. My house has a large enclosed front and back garden with a fox red crazy lab boy to keep your dog entertained. In your own home, I will respect all wishes and play where your pup is allowed to play!

About: I am available at short notice and can do weekends, Mon-Thurs after 5 and fridays after 12:30. I also drive so can access various locations e.g beaches, parks etc if your pet is ok in the car. Passionate about animals and love nothing more than spending time with them. I work in Ayr Monday - Thursday 8:30-5pm and Friday 8:30-12:30pm. I could do early mornings or evenings on these days (and lunchtime on a Friday). I am available at weekends - would be happy to stay in your home or pop in - whatever is preferred. I am flexible to work around your preferences for walking / house sitting. If there were any concerns or issues these can be discussed upon first meeting.

About: I have taken care of animals since the age of 5. I have cared for fish, hamsters, rabbits, Guinea pigs, dogs, cats, horses, large animals/ farm animals and exotic pets. I am an animal loving person, and have just completed a college course in Veterinary Care and Animal Welfare. I have taken care of elderly pets and young pets and have a good range of experience with lots of different types of animals. I have worked with farm animals, small animals, and cats and dogs. I have also cared for exotic animals before I am currently actively searching for a job as a Veterinary Care Assistant, and during this time I have spare right now I would love to use it to care for animals. I’m available everyday at anytime. I currently have 2 dogs at home so I am hesitant to take care of pets in my house but can discuss this on a case to case basis. I have experience with a range of animals and breeds and have previously looked after family and friends animals in their own homes so I understand what it is like to care for animals and how to look after them in other peoples home, I have also taken care of dogs with behaviour issues.
