As always, Chloe has looked after my girls wonderfully well. Always happy to have her come and look after Bella and Rosa while I am away, or just for a simple dog walk or drop-in.

Honestly I don’t know where to begin! As an extremely anxious cat mum I didn’t think I was ever going on a holiday again and then we found Robyn, from the minute I sent the first message Robyn was SO helpful. Fast forward to holidays and I do not have anything negative to say! Robyn eased my nerves, check in everyday with photos of my girls and just let me know how they were getting on! I think my cats are devastated she has left and I’m home! If you have any reservations about having someone else look after you fur babies Robyn is your gal!

About: I have been looking after and walking dogs since the age of 12, my family members and friends often rely on me to take their dogs on toilet breaks and walks allowing them to get exercises when the owner is unable to do so. For the past three years I have been dog sitting in owners homes while they are on holiday to ensure as little disruption to the pet as possible. I’m currently working part time, just three nights a week, so I’ll have plenty of free time to play, walk and engage with your puppy I will care for your fur baby, by stepping into their routine with as little disruption as possible. This will be done by getting clear instructions, knowing emergency contacts, pets will feel comfortable in their own home surrounded by comforting items.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life. Most recently my parents have 2 wire fox terriers which I frequently look after. I take them at least 3 long walks a week and I have trained them both since they were puppies! I have experience with anxious/reactive dogs. Neighbours/ friends also often ask me to check in on their dogs to play or go a walk. I currently work Monday- Thursday so would be available for boarding Thursday night- Saturday unless your dogs used to being home alone during the day in which case could do midweek too. I have a fenced garden and no dogs in the house. I’m happy to crate your dog if they are crate trained. I have experience with anxious dogs.

Dylan has taken amazing care of my wee pup Phoenix🐶 Couldn’t be happier! He has been an absolute angel to have over, and was so good at sending updates, pictures and videos ❤️My wee pup usually takes a few days to calm down when I leave, and will usually just be grumpy, but he loved Dylan straight away which has never happened before! She took the three of them for walks, kept to their feeding schedule, and partook in cozy cuddle sessions, keeping them in routine and happy! She kept things neat and tidy in my home, leaving it as she had found it. She communicated well and the dogs all loved her!

Andrew was a great sitter! He stayed with our dog for a week and provided us with regular updates and photos so we were never concerned. He has a good deal of experience with dogs, which was evident in the way he was able to bond with our little rescue pup. He took her for walks, played with her, and even helped introduce her to some new dogs, which can be quite a challenge for her. Highly recommend!

About: Hi, I’m Lucy! I’m an enthusiastic dog lover with lots of experience caring for dogs and a real passion for spending time outdoors. I have experience running my own dog walking and pet care business, so I’m confident looking after dogs with different personalities, ages and needs. I’m also an experienced outdoor professional, so long walks, muddy paws and exploring the great outdoors are definitely my idea of a good day! 🐶🌿 I’m reliable, caring and attentive, and I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own. I understand how important it is to know that your pet is happy, safe and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog needs an energetic walk, a gentle potter, some company during the day or a little extra attention, I’ll tailor their care to suit them. I will be working April - end of September full time at the national park. But I will still have availability for walks on days off during this time. I will stick to any rules you have in place for your dog and follow any instructions provided to ensure the dogs routine stays the same and your dog has a happy time

About: Having gained a level 2 and 3 in animal care and management, and then a BSc (Hons) in Animal behaviour and welfare, I have worked with various species of animals from cats and dogs to horses, sheep, pigs, bearded dragons, geckos, and multiple aquatic animals of the like. I have been an animal management and care specialist for a HE college, then moved to a veterinary specialist hospital as a technician. I have now turned to human nursing post covid. I currently work as a nurse, from 0830 till 5 pm Monday to Friday, I am free nearly every weekend. I am more than happy to have your furry child over night or to look in on them after work or on weekends. Having an open-plan flat, the rooms are filled with natural light; CCTV will be an option, but daily updates will be included as standard. I will insist on password pickup (you and I agree on a secret password if someone other than the person who drops them off is picking them up). If visiting your home, I will be wearing body-worn CCTV and will text or video chat during my visit to ensure that you are aware that I have attended to your goodest boy/girl.

About: Hi I am Frances, anyone that spends five minutes in my company will tell you that I love all animals but especially Dogs, I feel as though they are just beautiful, caring, compassionate, clever and all round awesome beings that we don't deserve. Can't help but smile when in their company, Living their best life every day in the moment. No coincidence that their name is God backwards. I have had 2 dogs of my own in the past who I consider to be my family and am at a loss without my Son at the moment. I babysit for my friends Dogs if they have commitments elsewhere and consider it a privilege to do so. You don't have to own a dog to be my friend, but it helps :). Rest assured your fur babies are spoiled with me and we have fun playing, and chilling in between the adventure walks with lot's of Pink Panther sniffing / investigating to be done as well as special treat sausages from the Local Butchers with your permission of course. I have recently returned from Rwanda and Uganda where I had an amazing experience trekking in the National Forest Park to see the mighty Silverback Gorilla and his family. I have also travelled to Borneo where I volunteered at an Orangutan Sanctuary ( Jungle School - on Netflix ) and have also volunteered with the SSPCA in the past too. It would be an absolute pleasure to look after your furry family member and would be awesome to be their honorary Auntie and included in their pack. I currently work from home Monday and Friday from 8.30 to 3.30 and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8.30 to 4.30. I am therefore able to look after your Fur babies for long weekends Fri to Mon easily fitting in with their own specific schedules. I am hoping to be able to make this a full time job in the future, as it would be a dream come true to be able to care for your pets and be paid to do so?! In an ideal world I would have won the lottery and I would pay you for the privilege of your babies company. I have a private fenced garden that allows security and safety for your pet to be able to go out for fresh air throughout the day in between the bigger walks - minimum of an hour of sniffing if allowed. Your pet will be allowed up on the couch and bed with fluffy blankets for comfort if allowed only, as I would not allow if not the norm for pet. All their requirements will be adhered and catered for, so as not to disrupt their usual routine.

This gal is absolutely fabulous. Prior to the first board we met several times, took my girls a wander and had some coffees and I felt at ease knowing my girlies were in safe hands and someone who will just hug them and care for them as I do. Sending me pictures of what the girls are up to. Highly recommend! Relieved to have found her services! Thank you again ☺️

About: Over the years I have had 6 cats, 2 dogs, hamsters, parrots and fish so I have always had a love for animals! I have plenty of experience in caring for them and know what they need. I have had pets who have had ongoing medical needs including regular medicine. I’m the go-to contact for friends and family when they need someone to pet-sit! My partner, Huzaifah, will be helping take care of your pet. He’s an animal lover and has looked after cats, dogs, ferrets, fish, and iguana and a tortoise. I work part time and my partner, who also adores animals, works full time from home so your pet will always have company! We don’t work weekends or bank holidays. We currently have 2 gerbils in a cage in our spacious upper cottage flat with an unfenced garden. The gerbils are elevated so there shouldn’t be any issues, they love the company of other animals!

The average cost for House Sitting in Renfrewshire on Rover is £35.19 per night (as of September 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of September 2026, there are 992 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Renfrewshire. Enter your postcode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Renfrewshire walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Renfrewshire choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
