As always, Chloe was superb. She dropped in twice to see that Bella was ok, while I had to be away for the day. Bella enjoys Chloe's visits and gets her food and a potty break on each visit. Always a pleasure to have Chloe look after my girls when I need it.

I can't praise Christina enough. I was unfortunately taken ill and couldn't get home, Christina didn't have an issue doing extra days with no notice.

About: I have been looking after and walking dogs since the age of 12, my family members and friends often rely on me to take their dogs on toilet breaks and walks allowing them to get exercises when the owner is unable to do so. For the past three years I have been dog sitting in owners homes while they are on holiday to ensure as little disruption to the pet as possible. I’m currently working part time, just three nights a week, so I’ll have plenty of free time to play, walk and engage with your puppy I will care for your fur baby, by stepping into their routine with as little disruption as possible. This will be done by getting clear instructions, knowing emergency contacts, pets will feel comfortable in their own home surrounded by comforting items.

Dylan took great care of my very high energy Cocker Spaniel puppy. It was my first time using the app so I was a little anxious about the whole thing but he was super patient, friendly and accommodating of meeting us beforehand! It's clear that he loves dogs 🐶 Will definitely be booking him again - I'm sure my pup will be delighted! Thanks Dylan ☺️

About: Hi I am Frances, anyone that spends five minutes in my company will tell you that I love all animals but especially Dogs, I feel as though they are just beautiful, caring, compassionate, clever and all round awesome beings that we don't deserve. Can't help but smile when in their company, Living their best life every day in the moment. No coincidence that their name is God backwards. I have had 2 dogs of my own in the past who I consider to be my family and am at a loss without my Son at the moment. I babysit for my friends Dogs if they have commitments elsewhere and consider it a privilege to do so. You don't have to own a dog to be my friend, but it helps :). Rest assured your fur babies are spoiled with me and we have fun playing, and chilling in between the adventure walks with lot's of Pink Panther sniffing / investigating to be done as well as special treat sausages from the Local Butchers with your permission of course. I have recently returned from Rwanda and Uganda where I had an amazing experience trekking in the National Forest Park to see the mighty Silverback Gorilla and his family. I have also travelled to Borneo where I volunteered at an Orangutan Sanctuary ( Jungle School - on Netflix ) and have also volunteered with the SSPCA in the past too. It would be an absolute pleasure to look after your furry family member and would be awesome to be their honorary Auntie and included in their pack. I currently work from home Monday and Friday from 8.30 to 3.30 and in the office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 8.30 to 4.30. I am therefore able to look after your Fur babies for long weekends Fri to Mon easily fitting in with their own specific schedules. I am hoping to be able to make this a full time job in the future, as it would be a dream come true to be able to care for your pets and be paid to do so?! In an ideal world I would have won the lottery and I would pay you for the privilege of your babies company. I have a private fenced garden that allows security and safety for your pet to be able to go out for fresh air throughout the day in between the bigger walks - minimum of an hour of sniffing if allowed. Your pet will be allowed up on the couch and bed with fluffy blankets for comfort if allowed only, as I would not allow if not the norm for pet. All their requirements will be adhered and catered for, so as not to disrupt their usual routine.

About: Over the years I have had 6 cats, 2 dogs, hamsters, parrots and fish so I have always had a love for animals! I have plenty of experience in caring for them and know what they need. I have had pets who have had ongoing medical needs including regular medicine. I’m the go-to contact for friends and family when they need someone to pet-sit! My partner, Huzaifah, will be helping take care of your pet. He’s an animal lover and has looked after cats, dogs, ferrets, fish, and iguana and a tortoise. I work part time and my partner, who also adores animals, works full time from home so your pet will always have company! We don’t work weekends or bank holidays. We currently have 2 gerbils in a cage in our spacious upper cottage flat with an unfenced garden. The gerbils are elevated so there shouldn’t be any issues, they love the company of other animals!

About: **About Me** Hi! I'm a huge animal lover and have been around both dogs and cats my entire life. I’m a cat mum to two fur babies, Pablo my mainecoon boy and Snow my Persian girl. Growing up with pets has given me a genuine understanding of how important they are as family members, and I love spending time with animals of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. For the past 3 years, I've been helping with my sister's dog walking and pet sitting business, where I've carried out solo dog walks and drop-in visits. This has given me hands-on experience caring for dogs independently, making sure they're happy, safe, exercised, and well looked after while their owners are away. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets, so I always treat every animal as if they were my own. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having some company during the day, I'll make sure they receive plenty of attention, care, and affection. I'm reliable, friendly, and passionate about providing a positive experience for both pets and their owners. I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members! 🐾 **A few things about me:** * 3 years of experience assisting with a dog walking and pet sitting business * Experienced with solo dog walks and drop-in visits * Lifelong experience caring for dogs and cats * Comfortable with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments * Happy to follow your pet's usual routine and care instructions * Plenty of cuddles, attention, and care included! I’m currently working part time so have plenty of free flexible time to help look after the furry members of your family. I working as a tattoo apprentice based in the Dennistoun area so I’m able to cover any morning or evening drop ins or solo walks. I understand that trusting someone with both your pet and your home is a big decision. I take this responsibility seriously and always aim to provide a safe, secure, and stress-free experience for both pets and owners. I will carefully follow your instructions and your pet's usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled while you're away. I respect every home as if it were my own, ensuring it is kept tidy, secure, and well cared for during visits. My priority is always your pet's safety, happiness, and wellbeing, and I will keep you updated with messages and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing they're in good hands. 🐾

About: (Sept 2025 Update** I now study Counselling in Paisley each Monday 9-4pm, Wed+Thu 9-12**) Please keep this in mind when booking, as I'll need to leave your babies at home for those hours whilst I go to class. I have my own dog Levi and an older cat called MaMa and this means I can't board any pets as my pets get jealous and act out. I have no problem watching your pet at your home though and staying at your home if it's needed. I've got experience with both cats and dogs and seem to always get on with them. I have a special connection with animals. I have a recent Disclosure from Feb 2024 available. ✨✨ I would prefer cash in hand. This way will be cheaper. My prices are upped on here due to the percent Rover take off my payments✨✨✨ I'm available on request. However I do not board animals in my home due to my dog being jealous of both cats and dogs that get my attention. I currently have a dog that's 8 years old and a cat that's over 10 years old. I am a trust worthy individual that just loves being around animals. I always have, since I was a kid.

What an angel! 💕 Not only did she put Bramble at complete ease while looking after him, but kept me so well up to date with how he was that I didn't worry once while I was away. Detailed updates, extra videos outside of the visit cards, and just genuine care for Bramble. Every visit she took time to get to know him, what he was comfortable with and met him with whatever attention he wanted. Bramble is on a specific diet and she stuck to it to a T. 10/10 sitter and I'd happily recommend Erin to anyone ♥️

There are 593 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Renfrewshire. About 92% of Renfrewshire sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
