About: I'm a caring, reliable pet sitter who genuinely enjoys spending time with animals and looks forward to getting to know each pet's personality. Being an outdoors person, I'm always happy to head out for long walks and explore new routes with energetic dogs, but I'm just as content spending time at home with a pet who prefers a slower pace and a good cuddle. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their routine, preferences and little quirks. Whether that's walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply keeping them company while you're away, I'll make sure they feel comfortable, safe and well looked after. Friends and family have trusted me with their pets for years, and one of the things I enjoy most about pet sitting is the chance to spend time with animals and build a bond with them. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you trust, so I'll always keep you updated with photos and messages for peace of mind while you're away. I work from home, which means I can give pets plenty of attention throughout the day and easily adapt my schedule around their needs. I enjoy having animals around and tend to structure my day to include playtime, feeding routines and companionship. I also love getting outdoors, exploring new places and taking long walks, so active pets will have plenty of opportunities for exercise and adventure. I understand that pets are happiest when they feel safe, comfortable and secure. I take the time to learn each pet's routine and personality, ensuring they receive the care and attention they're used to. As I work from home, pets are rarely left alone for long periods and can enjoy a calm environment with plenty of company. I will always treat your home and your pets with the same care and respect that I would expect for my own.

About: I have been around dogs all of my life. I am currently the guardian of two dogs and absolutely love spending as much of my day as possible with them. We take long walks across the glennifer braes, road trips to the beach and strolls ans ball throws in the local parks. We are constantly training- sometimes the boys forget their manners, so we are always practicing!! I have raised Marlo from being a puppy whilst flash is adopted so have experience around dogs of all ages and backgrounds. Our household has four years experience also in Epilepsy management. The care of flash can be quite complex- he’s on a strict medication and food routine to help manage his seizures. Growing up the dogs in my life have been German shepherds, Irish setter, border collie, Lhasapso, Labradors, Retrievers, patterdale terrier, Staffordshire bull terrier and of course mungrels. So far and having just started my business I have cared for little fudge who is a french bulldog and a little angel 😇. We had him overnight on a couple of occasions and during the day for walkies a few days also. He fit right in once I got him to calm down 😂 purely excited to be with us he was. I have also had the beautiful and soft natured Belle who's a retired racing greyhound. She immediately lay down like she was at home and bonded with flash who has the same energy as her. She walked perfectly and proudly around with the pack and was just another angel 😇. I have currently a home boarding booked in a with a little lhasaapsu cross who we will go meet first for a we walk and get to know each other. We are really excited about this😊. Finally I would say that my experience with dogs is an extensive one, in life, I have bonded with every dog I have come across (annoyingly for some) I have cared for dogs of all sizes and nature and intelligence! As a business my experience is relatively new as I only ever cared for dogs for enjoyment. Now it's my job and life. I'm a natural with dogs and I'm also training daily by taking on K9 college courses expanding my knowledge as much as possible. Most recently I completed the K9 first aid course and am now qualified in this. Next course I plan on will be a practical one also allowing me to work with my dogs and better my abilities. I work 5 day a week from 5am to 9am so that caring for dogs can be my main focus. My work days do vary but the work times are very static. Im currently studying in a K9 college, expanding my knowledge of dogs in all aspects. My course is flexible and fits around my personal daily doggy routine😍. I am very flexible for times that I can care for other peoples fur babies, and as such can dedicate myself to give the best care possible as and when required by you and your family members. At home I have a secure garden at the back with large grass area for the dogs. Pets have free run of the inside of my home. I can however crate if required in both my own home and your home. I am very proud to be Canine first aid trained and have first hand experience of dealing with sick, old, vulnerable and complicated dogs. I am currently studying at a renowned K9 college to better my knowledge of dogs in every aspect I can. Between me and my partner we have four years of K9 epilepsy management where we are able to administer daily medication for dogs, orally or injection. In worst case scenario we both can administer emergency medication as per instruction. We have a loving home with great vibes for all dogs big and small. We live on the outskirts of paisley right on the countryside border line where we are literally a 5 minute walk to miles of open Greenland and umpteen different walks to choose from. We have a child free household which only means your dog gets %💯% attention and love they deserve.

About: Golden Family Dog Sitting
Hey, guys, my name is Julie, and my partner Chris and I currently have three stunning Golden retriever babies who are our absolute world.
I have been fostering for Irish Retriever Rescue for the last 3 years as well as doggy sitting for close friends and family. I made the decision to officially do what I love and that's looking after fur babies of all kind 🥰 full time.
I offer boarding and when looking after your fur baby they will not be left alone throughout there stay and will have the adventures that they will just keep yapping about after you come and collect them🤭.
We are looking to offer that home away from home experience for your pups holiday with us. Our three love to meet new friends and have playtime all the time. We have experience with all types of dogs from fostering and puppy sitting and our three themselves.
We make sure that all dogs daily are comfortable providing them with 2 walks a day and a visit to our local dog field to get all the zoomies out.
We will take instructions from yourself on feeding and treats, all dogs have free roam of the house and Garden, but again we like to make sure everyone is safe so always make sure that at least one of us is present with the dogs at all times.
We like to always do an introduction with our dogs first before the holiday just to make sure everyone is introduced and there's no issues while doing this we always love to get more information and stories about your pup to make sure we provide the best experience when they come.
In case of any emergencies or injuries we always have a pet first aid box on hand and our vets is only 10 minutes away if necessary but thankfully have never had any issues to require the vet.
Also have experience with excitable dogs, nervous dogs and have small experience with resource guarding that was corrected by ourselves.
Normal daily routine for ourselves is garden toilet time while breakfast is being prepared, once we full belly's and a little time to digest its times for our morning walk which is usually around 45 minutes to an hour, after returning from our morning walk it's fun time play time during the week I myself am at home with all dogs and make sure to have playtime with toys and out in our spacious garden which is fully fenced and secure.
Around 5pm we proceed to have dinner time in which I make sure to feed all dogs and usually once Chris returns home at 6 we take all dogs out to the Run free dog fields for an hour we tend to fetch or if we are feeling energetic we like to run round with the dogs with a little game of tag lol once our time is up we normally try and settle down for the evening all dogs have the freedom of the house so where ever they feel comfortable they can choose to relax for the evening but we do make sure to have regular garden breaks until it is time for our night time walk which is normally around 10pm again for around 45 minutes.
Once that is complete it's time for our beds we have a number of dog beds throughout the house and also dogs have the option to sleep where they are most comfortable. Weekends tend to be slightly different as we tend to go on adventures whether to the beach a first walk or hike to give the dogs a great adventure to enjoy.
If you have any questions, feel free to message me ☺️ I will doing this as my full time job offering all dogs in my care my 100% attention making sure all dogs are safe and given the best care possible I have a fully fenced garden which wrap rounds the house giving the dogs amble space to run and have when we are home. I have 2 friendly golden retrievers who are more than welcoming to all dogs and are experienced in dealing with many personalities with us fostering for the last 3 years. We make sure to always offer a safe environment for dogs and a home away from home giving them walks adventure and fun at our local dog field which is fully secure so everyone is able to burn off plenty of energy and run to there’s heart content. All dogs have free rain of the home and someone with them 24/7.

In simple terms, Tracey (with her lovely family) saved our skins when we were in need of the right person to look after our Roscoe for much of the day. For all it was last minute, it felt like we we SO lucky to find Tracey available. Roscoe enjoyed every comfort he would have at home, and regular updates with film and pictures was all we needed to feel reassured. When we picked him up in the evening, it was a delight to see how happy he was - evidence of a day of joy for him. Couldn't recommend Tracey highly enough. We'll be thrilled to visit again with Roscoe.

About: I grew up with dogs from my grandparents collies to our family labradors and now my own cockapoo. Dogs bring me a lot of happiness and I love chilling out with my furry friends. I have over 20 years of experience looking after dogs and I understand the importance of making sure your dog is safe with someone else when they can’t be with you. I use Rover myself when I need someone to watch me dog and so would like to help others out too. I work full time where I am required to be in the office twice a week. Those days are flexible so I can usually work around requests for dog sitting. I have a decent sized house and garden for your dog to relax in and they will have company with me and my cockapoo. I live in a very quiet residential area with a fenced garden. Your dog will be on lead at all times when out on a walk with me.

We are so happy we have found Wayne! Our 18-month-old American Akita girl has very specific needs. She thrives on a calm structured daily routine. Wayne has taken the time to get to know her as an individual and to understand her boundaries. He has created an environment where Phoebe feels calm, safe, and confident. That level of awareness and care is not easy to find, especially for guardian breeds like Akitas. It’s such a relief to know she’s in compassionate, caring, experienced hands -when we can’t be with her because of work- and we truly trust him with her wellbeing. We’ve found our long-term doggy daycare and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wayne to anyone looking for thoughtful, breed-aware care. I must also say Beans is the sweetest doggy girl! She loves cuddles and treats, and we love Phoebe having her as her daycare companion.

Doggy Day Care

Lexi is a rescue dog and is very nervous so it was with some trepidation that I arranged for her to stay with someone whilst I attended a family wedding, but I needn’t have worried. We met up a few weeks ago and couldn’t have been treated any better. Invited into their home straight away allowing Lexi to meet their own dog and indeed went a walk allowing Lexi to interact with another dog. Throughout the day I was sent photographs and texts putting my mind at rest that Lexi was ok which I felt was a great gesture and should be done, if not already practised elsewhere. Therefore, I have no reservations in recording maximum rating for Kristin and as a regular visitor to Erskine from Shrewsbury I will have no hesitation in requesting that she looks after Lexi.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Renfrewshire

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Renfrewshire on Rover is £25.3 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 826 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Renfrewshire. About 88% of Renfrewshire sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Renfrewshire commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in Scotland may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
