“Both dogs had a lovely time with Koko, Yoyo and the kids. One almost didn’t want to come home and both were sleeping on the drive back home. Kept us up to date with all comings and goings and took great care of them Will definitely be coming back!”

“Kwai and his lovely family looked after Bonnie so well. She's an older girl and has kidney problems so needs special care but they made sure she was completely comfortable. She had lovely walks on her doggie sitting afternoon. We were also sent regular happy photos to keep us in touch. Kwai's prices are really fair especially as it was a holiday weekend and short notice. I certainly wouldn't hesitate to have Bonnie booked with them again.”

“Yara had a great time with Ann Na for a day whilst we were out at a wedding in the area. She was wonderfully gentle and caring of her, sending us regular updates with photos and giving Yara plenty of cuddles and attention!”

“We couldn’t have asked for better care for our German Shepherd, Skye! Aleksandra and her husband were an absolute dream team 🐾 From the moment we left, Skye was showered with love, cuddles, and tons of attention 🐶 They stuck to her routine perfectly, noticed every little detail we mentioned, and even had fun doing tricks with her along the way! 🎉✨ Plenty of walks through the day kept her happy and tired (in the best way), and we loved getting frequent updates with sweet photos and messages — it really put our minds at ease. 😊 Their communication was super responsive and so reassuring. At the end of the stay, Aleksandra and her husband took the time to go through everything with us and Skye came home one very happy, tail-wagging girl 🐕💙 Thank you both so much for taking such wonderful care of our furry family member - we’re already looking forward to booking with you again! 🙌 See you again very soon! 🐾 Highly recommend! 🌟”

“Cara was fantastic with Lumi our five month old GSD puppy 🐶💛. She had other dogs in the house but still gave everyone full attention and made sure he ate his meals and stayed on track with good behaviour. Her focus on preventing early bad habits is exactly what you want when trusting someone with a young German Shepherd puppy. She sent photos and updates throughout the day which kept us completely at ease and let us see how well he was settling in 📸🐾. She also chatted with us before and after the day which was really helpful. Lumi came home tired happy and clearly well looked after. Highly recommended for anyone needing caring and responsible doggy day care ✨.”

“Phuri was an amazing sitter! She was very patient with my anxious dog and sent lots of updates and pictures throughout the day. When Arlo saw her the next time he was so excited to see her. Thanks again Phuri :)”

About: Hi I’m Isabel, I took redundancy after working in a Bank for 38 years so I could look after my Mum. After she passed away I didn’t want to go back to office work, so decided to do something I knew I would love. I’ve been a cat owner for over 30 years, usually having 2 cats at a time. At the moment I only have 1 Clark & I think he adopted me, he loves being outside especially in the good weather. Like all Cats he enjoys his cuddles on his terms.

About: Hi there! I’m Áine and I would love to offer my services in pet care. I am a reliable individual who has boarded large dogs at home, ensuring regular updates and photos for their owners. I also have experience in taking care of lively puppies, and am well versed in handling different temperaments. I am a Secondary School teacher currently off on summer holidays, so my schedule is flexible and free for last minute trips you might be taking and need a reliable sitter. I’m situated less than 5 minutes from Queen’s Park + Pollock Park so your pet will be able to get great walks in when staying with me. I can provide regular updates and pictures of your pet so you can rest assured your pet is in the best of hands when staying with me! I am a Spanish and Italian Secondary school teacher who is currently off for the summer holidays, so my schedule is flexible and free for all of your pet care needs! Ensuring the top quality care of your pet is my priority, and I can promise your pet will receive all of the love and care it needs. I live in a large main door flat that has a hedged fence, providing easy access for your pets. I am situated 5 minutes from both Queen’s Park and Pollock Park which makes up for not having a garden. This means your pet will have lots of opportunities and access for great walks in the incredible green spaces that Glasgow has to offer!
“Amy is so lovely, I couldn’t recommend her enough to look after your dog. Flossie is always a very happy (and tired) boy after his visits. Lots of photos/ videos/ communication from Amy too. 10/10!”

“Our puppy Winnie had an incredible day with Michael! His communication was superb and gave lots of updates! He is very easy to get on with and clearly has a passion for what he is doing! We will definitely be booking with him again! Thanks so much! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“What a great experience Archie had. He absolutely loved his time with Gianna. She took great care of him with great walks and playtime, so much so he slept the rest of the day 😆. Can’t wait to use Gianna again for his care. Highly recommended.”
“Cannot say enough good things about Alex and how amazing he was with our Buddy. He constantly communicated with me sending pictures which put my mind at rest that Buddy was happy. We were looking for someone who basically treated Buddy with the love and attention we give him and we found this in Alex. He has a lot of experience especially with anxious dogs and has such a lovely and caring nature. I think Buddy would have been happy to stay with Alex!! So happy and relieved we’ve managed to find someone after a lot of searching that we are more than happy to leave Buddy with. Thanks Alex for being amazing.”

“Maisie has a lovely time with Soojin. She greets her very enthusiastically and settles down really quickly. You would never know that she has separation anxiety! I recommend Soojin wholeheartedly and will always come back and hope she is available!”

“Suzi loves staying with Alice - she has a great time and is very well looked after. Alice is brilliant with her and just loves dogs. Suzi and I couldn’t be happier - great service and peace of mind.”

“Dougie went off with Cory without looking back for us which was reassuring. We got updates during the day to hear he was having a good day with Abby and Cory dropped Dougie back to us which was great and he seemed very happy.”

“Jiawen looked after my little dog at very short notice. I received multiple photos throughout the time and my dog seemed happy when I collected her. Would definitely recommend Jiawen :)”

“Can’t thank Monica enough. We had to get in Touch last minute unfortunately and she was really flexible- our wee man isn’t easy and can struggle around other dogs and how she handled him and her own dog is a testament to her and the wee dog of her own! Really grateful”

My dog Bran spent a lovely day at Koko and Yoyo's home. There were two other dogs boarding and Bran was introduced to them appropriately so was very relaxed around them, even indoors which is sometimes hard for him. Bran received a lot of attention and affection. The children were calm and were great with Bran. I received lots of fantastic photos and detailed updates, which I really appreciated. Would definitely use again!

Orla and Aine have looked after Tess a few times now, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. Tess is always excited to go round and clearly has a brilliant time with them. They take her on lots of lovely walks, and she always comes home happy, relaxed and well looked after. We’d happily book with them again. Thank you both!

Lochie had a great afternoon with Kate and her family. He had so much fun that he is exhausted. Communication was great and Kate welcomed us into her home. She made me feel at ease, showing me her garden and had a bed laid out for him with a toy. Thanks for a great afternoon.

This was my first time leaving my dog with anyone and from the start I felt very relaxed about leaving him, he got a couple of walks which was great and he was a happy dog when I went to collect him , im really happy with everything and wouldnt hesitate to ask again , thank you

We are so happy we have found Wayne! Our 18-month-old American Akita girl has very specific needs. She thrives on a calm structured daily routine. Wayne has taken the time to get to know her as an individual and to understand her boundaries. He has created an environment where Phoebe feels calm, safe, and confident. That level of awareness and care is not easy to find, especially for guardian breeds like Akitas. It’s such a relief to know she’s in compassionate, caring, experienced hands -when we can’t be with her because of work- and we truly trust him with her wellbeing. We’ve found our long-term doggy daycare and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Wayne to anyone looking for thoughtful, breed-aware care. I must also say Beans is the sweetest doggy girl! She loves cuddles and treats, and we love Phoebe having her as her daycare companion.

We couldn’t have asked for a better home-from-home for Brewster. He absolutely loved his time here and was treated like one of the family. The care, kindness and attention he received were exceptional, and we always felt completely reassured leaving him in such a warm and loving environment. Their own dog Brodue is wonderful too, and Brewster truly enjoyed the companionship. The only reason he has stopped attending is due to a recent health diagnosis, otherwise we would have continued without hesitation. We are incredibly grateful for everything they have done for him and would highly recommend them, any dog would be very lucky to spend time here 🥰

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in Scotland may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
