“It was refreshing to have a cat sitter volunteer to meet us before engaging in looking after our wee cat Dot. When we got home Dot was her usual which was nice as she usually sulks after we’ve been away.”

About: I am a student veterinary nurse who loves animals and is looking for opportunities to 1. get all the experience I can with different animals and 2. support myself through my studies. I have lots of experience handling animals of all sizes and breeds from my current full time work in a vets practice. I currently have a 10 year old cat who I’ve had since he was a kitten, but also grew up with a border collie dog and 2 other cats. I spent last year travelling around Australia where I was part of a similar pet sitting app, and looked after many animals in exchange for somewhere to stay. My strengths are definitely having a lot of knowledge about animals and how to care for them, from my studies, but also having great communication with owners about their pets. I can provide references for previous house/pet sitters who can attest to my experience. I’m currently studying and working on placement full time at a veterinary practice, so my weekdays are pretty busy. I have a Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday free to look after your pets! I will have more availability over term breaks I.e. Easter and summer. I also work/study from home for a few weeks, every couple of months where I will also have more availability. I always like to meet the dog and owners to establish a relationship prior to me caring for them. Every animal is different so creating that trust with both animal and owner is key. I always make sure the pets I care for have all of their needs met, ensuring they have access to food and water at all times, lots of toys to play with, plenty of exercise and fun and I will administer any medication they need. They will always be safe and secure with me.
8. Elisha S.
“First time we have ever used the app as we were getting married:) We needed our dog Jess checking on a couple of time throughout the day. Elisha’s communication was amazing going above and beyond to help our needs. She’s lovely to speak to and the photos she took during her visits made our wedding day :)))) highly recommended thank you so much for your help. Jess loved her new friend for the day :)”
9. ceris S.
“Ceris is a lovely person who has a deeply-rooted love for animals. She has rescued and adopted several during the time that I've known her, and enjoys their company immensely. She knows loads about taking care of pets (especially the feline and canine variety), and would make an excellent choice for your animal-sitting needs!”
10. Siobhan M.
“Siobhan is the epitome of a compassionate and reliable pet caregiver. Having known her for 20 years, I've witnessed her deep connection with animals firsthand. Growing up with various pets, her love for them is genuine and unwavering. Siobhan's innate kindness, patience, and empathy make her not just a pet sitter but a true animal advocate. Her experience with animals throughout her life has cultivated a profound understanding of their needs and emotions. Siobhan goes above and beyond to ensure the well-being of furry friends under her care. I've entrusted my pets to her, and the level of attention and affection she provides is unparalleled. Siobhan's commitment to creating a safe and loving environment for pets is commendable. Her passion for animals is not just a job but a calling. If you're seeking a trustworthy and caring pet sitter, Siobhan is the ideal choice!”
11. Cloe H.
“Cloe is amazing, she is always great with our dogs and has even taken the time to build their trust. I definitely 100% recommend her!!”
12. Matthew D.
“Matthew took incredible care of my dog Millie. He was very accommodating to her fear of loud noise and took care to reassure her when this was an issue on walks. He built her confidence and always made sure she had fun when watching her. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter or walker”
13. Silvia G.
“Silvia is such a caring and confident dog walker, I know my pup is safe in her hands. She’s great in understanding dog body language and making sure their needs are met, so I trust her to keep my pup safe and fullfilled on their walkies. My pup needs space away from other dogs on his walk and Silvia is great at adapting to his needs. The fact that she doesn’t walk multiple dogs at the same time is rare among dog walkers and works very well for us. I have not found a better dog walker in Glasgow!”
14. Nicole G.
“Nicole has been caring for my pets when I have had to leave them for a couple of years now. She is 100 % reliable, kind, caring and enthusiastic. My dog Keira is always so excited when she sees Nicole and obviously loves her. They go on lovely walks together, and Nicole takes photos so that I can see what adventures they have been on without me. I also keep house rabbits, and can't recommend Nicole highly enough if you are looking for a bunny sitter. A rabbit owner herself she knows exactly how to care for rabbits, who can be tricky customers. She can tell immediately if something is wrong and in the past has taken one of my rabbits to the vet for me as she could tell he was a bit quiet. Rabbits are experts at hidding illness and can go from being well to being at deaths door in the space of a couple of hours. I wouldn't trust anybody else to care for them when I am away.”
15. Suzanne M.
“Suzanne has minded myko 3 times nows and she is so good with him as he can be a handful. He is always so happy to see her. She was great with updates and I got some lovely photos of him playing with friends. Would recommend her as she was great to put my mind at ease and made leaving him a little easier. She is also very flexible which is great for my type of work. See you again soon”
16. Eleanor H.
“I would highly recommend Eleanor when it comes to working and caring for your dog. Eleanor displays a compassionate interest in the behavior and welfare of dogs. I have entrusted Eleanor with the care of my dogs on numerous occasions and each time she has exceeded my expectations of caring for my dogs as if they are her own. I am particularly impressed with the reliability and professionalism Eleanor shows. She always arrived on time and followed any instructions or routines I provided. I always feel reassured knowing my dogs are in Eleanor's capable hand whilst I am away. I wholeheartedly recommend Eleanor as a dog sitter. Her genuine love for animals makes her an exceptional choice for anyone seeking a trustworthy and dedicated caregiver for your animals.”
