About: We’ve had dogs in our family since I can remember. Big Rottweilers, fluffy Alsatians, bouncy spaniels, snuggly Staffies and cheeky Jack Russell terriers. I’m a big walker so happy to be as active or relaxed as your doggy dictates. I work flexibly from home full time. I can offer toilet breaks as often as required. And as many or as few walks needed. Pets are welcome on the furniture here! I have an unfenced garden but I understand security is the most important element. I’ll ensure your pet is able to get outside for walks or the bathroom whenever they need. And if they don’t show signs I’ll be observant and ensure they can be outside as frequently as required.

Susan was really friendly to me and checked on my cats every day. She hung out with them for a while each day, and sent me pictures and notes every day about how they were doing. I greatly appreciate her, and I will ask her to drop in on my kitties the next time I travel! I 100% recommend her. :)

Zoe looked after our Alvie for a week while we were on holiday. Zoe provided her drop in service where she visited once a day to feed and accompany Alvie. Every day Zoe arrived at the time she said and provided detailed updates on how Alvie was doing and sent plenty of pictures and videos. The service provided by Zoe was fantastic and set our minds at ease allowing my partner and I to enjoy our holiday to the fullest. I would absolutely recommend Zoe to anyone looking for peace of mind and hope to use her services again in the future! Thanks so much!

About: I have around a year of experience providing dog walking and pet sitting, caring for dogs with different personalities, routines and needs. 🐾 I previously worked as a self-employed dog walker and built up my own regular clients, so I'm confident caring for dogs independently and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy while their owners are away. I'm experienced with walks, feeding, playtime, toilet breaks and following each dog's individual routine and care instructions. I understand that every dog is different, so I'm always happy to adapt to their usual schedule, personality and preferences. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet, so I'll treat every dog as if they were my own and keep owners updated with plenty of photos and messages while they're in my care. ❤️🐶 I'm available for dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, daycare and boarding, and I'd love to get to know you and your pets! I currently work a hospitality job where the hours swap and change weekly but I can keep in touch and communicate my days off with my clients. My doggy day care I only do on my days off so I can be at home the full time with the animal to ensure its needs are being met. Your pet’s safety and comfort will always be my priority. I’ll follow any routines and instructions you provide, including feeding times, walks, toilet breaks and any house rules. I’ll make sure pets receive plenty of attention while also giving them space when they need it. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I’ll treat both their pet and their home with care and respect. I’m also happy to send regular photo and message updates so you can relax knowing your pet is safe and happy. I have a cat that can keep your furry pet company he’s been around dogs and cats his whole life. 🐾

This was my first time leaving animals with someone, whom I was seeing for the first time in my life and honestly I am still impressed. Anita is a wonderful, kind, sincere person, you can trust her and she will never let you down. She is very responsible and loves life, people, animals. she sincerely empathizes with animals and loves them so sincerely. I had a very difficult situation and I had to pick up the cat from other owners who were hurting the cat, I was not in Edinburgh and there was nothing I could do, Anita offered to pick him up, she sacrificed her time and drove there for several hours and took the cat. I'm still in shock because not everyone is so sincerely ready to help. Now I have a trusted person in my family, I trust Anita. She also cleaned the carpets after my cat threw up. Anita thanks for advises and many more what you did for my pets . Big thank you . Kind Regards Fira Caizley

Denny, FK6

About: Hey! I’m Connie, 34 and a dog lover moving back to Denny from June onwards 🐾 Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I had my Bichon Frise, Ollie, for 13 years, and since losing him I’ve continued caring for dogs regularly, especially my brother’s Cockapoo, Lottie (my little fur niece!), who I look after once or twice a week 🐶. I work full time during the week, but I work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I can be more flexible on those days. At the moment, I’m mainly offering: ✅ House sitting ✅ Dog walking ✅ Drop-in visits House sitting works best for me right now, and I also find most pets are far more comfortable staying in their own home and routine 🏡🐾 I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always make sure everything is kept tidy, secure, and well looked after. For dog walking, I’m available: ✅ Early mornings (Mon–Fri, 6–8am) ✅ Lunch breaks (Tues & Thurs) ✅ Evenings after 5pm (weekdays) ✅ Anytime Saturdays & Sundays I’m happy to do anything from quick toilet breaks to longer walks depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and routine 🌿🐕 I can also offer drop-in visits for feeding, letting pets out, company, and making sure they’re settled and cared for while you’re away 🐾 I’m a calm, patient, and affectionate person, and I always adapt to each pet’s personality — whether they want lots of interaction and play, or just a gentle, reassuring presence 💛 I also always keep owners updated with photos and messages so you know your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away 🤍 I work full time Mon-Fri (9-4.30pm). I work from home on Tuesdays & Thursdays, which gives me more flexibility for walks and drop in visits during the day. On office days (Mon, Wed, Fri), I am available for morning walks before work and evening visits after 4.30pm. I am also fully available at weekends which allows for more flexibility, longer walks and regular care as needed. I enjoy being active and outdoors - I love going for drives and long walks and I am happy to include dogs where appropriate. I also enjoy quieter time at home, so I'm comfortable caring for pets who just need calm company and a steady presence. I am organised and reliable, ensuring pet care is something I can consistently fit around my work while still giving pets plenty of time, care and attention 💗 I provide care in the pet owner's home, where pets feel safest and most comfortable in their own familiar environment. I follow each pet's usual routine as closely as possible including feeding times and durations, fresh water, toilet breaks and playtime! I include walks tailored to their energy levels and needs along with playtime, attention and companionship so they feel happy and stimulated. I will always ensure your home is left secure and tidy after each visit and will always provide updates and photos so you feel reassured while you're away 📸 I always focus on creating a caring, calm presence so your pet feels comfortable and well looked after.

I hadn't left my cat with a sitter previously and was pretty nervous about it, but Zoe put my mind at rest right away. She came to meet my cat before I left, and while I was away she sent regular photo and video updates. My cat can sometimes be a little shy around strangers but he clearly liked Zoe and quickly felt comfortable with her. I'd definitely recommend Zoe and will be booking her again in the future if she's available.

There are 1,213 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Falkirk. About 93% of Falkirk sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
