Can't recommend Zoe highly enough to care for your pets! She took amazing care of my cats while we were on holiday for almost 2 weeks. I received regular updates at every visit, including photos and videos. As well as feeding and playing with them she even went out of her way doing extra jobs, like full litter change. Gave me huge peace of mind while far away from home. Thank you ?

Pam was amazing with our cat Ivy. She is an indoor cat only and was kept company with Pam popping in and making sure she was fed, watered, cleared her tray and gave her attention. Highly reliable and would recommend her. Very likely to use again.

About: I've helped walk people's dogs since I was teenager from neighbours to family friends. I have expernce walking smaller dogs like Bichon Frisé and French bulldogs as well as bigger more high energy dogs like labradors and collies. I am patient and understand dog body language well, I know that every dog is diffrent and will always listen to the owner about what they need. I have experence pet sitting gerbils and currently have two guinea pigs. I am confident handeling small animals and can pet sit smaller animals as well. I am a student in Glasgow I commute in. This means I'm happy to house sit for people outside my area so long as I can get a bus or train into Glasgow from your house. I am in uni Tuesday afternoon, Thursday and Friday morning so cant do drop ins or walks at those times. When looking after animals in the owners home I will make sure to follow all instructions given and do whatever I can to make the animal feel comfortable. I appreciate all animals are diffrent and some may like sticking to a routine and may be nervous when their owner is away while others enjoy the change of routine. I am able to look after animals in my home however I have a pet guinea pig therfore I can't look after your dog if they have a high prey drive. I am happy to do meet ups before hand if youre unsure about this. I know that it is impossible to know everything about animals so I will always take the lead from you and follow any instructions given. It is always best to do things the dog is familiar with so I will use any equitment and/ or traning methods you prefer. I would always prefer to meet you and the animal before booking to discuss things more in person and ensure me and the animal get along.

About: Hi I'm Clare and I'm cat crazy!!! I have had cats since I was a child- they have almost always been there with me. I love all animals in general. Growing up I had a dog, gorgeous black gerbils, budgies and of course, cats!! I have my little adopted cat, Agnes, who is an indoor cat and she is my world. I know it can be daunting leaving the kitties but I assure everyone that they are left in capable and loving hands. I, myself, used cat in a flat serviced for Agnes and now I work for them too. This is an amazing service!!!! I know how important cats are and the best care is always taken by me for these wonderful animals.💜

I feel my cats are very very well looked after. I have a lot of confidence in leaving them with Fay and Ian. Wouldn’t want anyone else looking after my boys. And my boys seem to love it too which is very reassuring. 100% would recommend leaving your animals with Fay &Ian. Thank you so much for your excellent care xx

Denny, FK6

About: Hey! I’m Connie, a caring and experienced dog lover moving back to Denny from June onwards 🐾 Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I had my Bichon Frise, Ollie, for 13 years, and since losing him I’ve continued caring for dogs regularly — especially my brother’s Cockapoo, Lottie (my little fur niece!), who I look after once or twice a week 🐶 I work full time during the week, but I work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays, so I can be more flexible on those days. At the moment, I’m mainly offering: ✅ House sitting ✅ Dog walking ✅ Drop-in visits House sitting works best for me right now, and I also find most pets are far more comfortable staying in their own home and routine 🏡🐾 I’m very respectful of people’s homes and always make sure everything is kept tidy, secure, and well looked after. For dog walking, I’m available: ✅ Early mornings (Mon–Fri, 6–8am) ✅ Lunch breaks (Tues & Thurs) ✅ Evenings after 5pm (weekdays) ✅ Anytime Saturdays & Sundays I’m happy to do anything from quick toilet breaks to longer walks depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and routine 🌿🐕 I can also offer drop-in visits for feeding, letting pets out, company, and making sure they’re settled and cared for while you’re away 🐾 I’m a calm, patient, and affectionate person, and I always adapt to each pet’s personality — whether they want lots of interaction and play, or just a gentle, reassuring presence 💛 I also always keep owners updated with photos and messages so you know your pets are safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away 🤍 I work full time Mon-Fri (9-4.30pm). I work from home on Tuesdays & Thursdays, which gives me more flexibility for walks and drop in visits during the day. On office days (Mon, Wed, Fri), I am available for morning walks before work and evening visits after 4.30pm. I am also fully available at weekends which allows for more flexibility, longer walks and regular care as needed. I enjoy being active and outdoors - I love going for drives and long walks and I am happy to include dogs where appropriate. I also enjoy quieter time at home, so I'm comfortable caring for pets who just need calm company and a steady presence. I am organised and reliable, ensuring pet care is something I can consistently fit around my work while still giving pets plenty of time, care and attention 💗 I provide care in the pet owner's home, where pets feel safest and most comfortable in their own familiar environment. I follow each pet's usual routine as closely as possible including feeding times and durations, fresh water, toilet breaks and playtime! I include walks tailored to their energy levels and needs along with playtime, attention and companionship so they feel happy and stimulated. I will always ensure your home is left secure and tidy after each visit and will always provide updates and photos so you feel reassured while you're away 📸 I always focus on creating a caring, calm presence so your pet feels comfortable and well looked after.

About: I’ve looked after people’s pets for as long as I can remember, including dog and cat sitting, walking, and popping in to check on them. I have a strong love for animals and have been trusted for years by family, friends, and neighbours in my town to care for their pets as if they were my own. I’m a full-time student, which means I have good flexibility during the week for walks, drop-ins, and pet sitting. I also work part-time on Saturdays, so my availability is a little more limited that day, but I’m always happy to discuss schedules and do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs. When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to stick closely to your routines and instructions. I understand how important consistency is for pets, so I’ll follow any feeding schedules, walking routines, medication instructions, and house rules you provide. I treat every home with respect and care for pets as if they were my own, keeping them comfortable, safe, and happy while you’re away.

This was my first time leaving animals with someone, whom I was seeing for the first time in my life and honestly I am still impressed. Anita is a wonderful, kind, sincere person, you can trust her and she will never let you down. She is very responsible and loves life, people, animals. she sincerely empathizes with animals and loves them so sincerely. I had a very difficult situation and I had to pick up the cat from other owners who were hurting the cat, I was not in Edinburgh and there was nothing I could do, Anita offered to pick him up, she sacrificed her time and drove there for several hours and took the cat. I'm still in shock because not everyone is so sincerely ready to help. Now I have a trusted person in my family, I trust Anita. She also cleaned the carpets after my cat threw up. Anita thanks for advises and many more what you did for my pets . Big thank you . Kind Regards Fira Caizley

Lee Anne was a great sitter for our 3 cats! We were kept up to date with videos and pictures at each visit. She went over and above when our wanderer didn't show up for a few days with an extra evening visit to check in. All 3 cats responded well to her kind and gentle nature - especially our wee elder lady! Highly recommend. We will be using Lee Anne again! Thanks Lee Anne! 😁

FAQs for Drop-In Visits - Falkirk

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Cat Sitting in Falkirk on Rover is £13.8 per Visit (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Cat Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Cat Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,073 sitters on Rover for Cat Sitting in Falkirk. About 93% of Falkirk sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter trays. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialisation or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
