About: We’ve had dogs in our family since I can remember. Big Rottweilers, fluffy Alsatians, bouncy spaniels, snuggly Staffies and cheeky Jack Russell terriers. I’m a big walker so happy to be as active or relaxed as your doggy dictates. I work flexibly from home full time. I can offer toilet breaks as often as required. And as many or as few walks needed. Pets are welcome on the furniture here! I have an unfenced garden but I understand security is the most important element. I’ll ensure your pet is able to get outside for walks or the bathroom whenever they need. And if they don’t show signs I’ll be observant and ensure they can be outside as frequently as required.

About: Dogs have always been a central part of my life - I grew up with a German shepherd and all of my family (and most of my friends) have dogs. Our home is perfect for four-legged guests (gated back garden). At home, it is just me and my two children (aged 13 and 8). I will be the sole dog sitter. We regularly welcome the dogs of friends and family for stays. Together with my two children, we absolutely adore dog sitting and bring plenty of energy to every stay. We love being out on long walks just as much as the dogs do! Your furry family member will be treated like one of our own, surrounded by affection, routine, and adventures. I work part-time as a teacher and currently do not work Fridays. I am also available during school holidays. At the weekend, me and my children regularly head out long walks in woods, to a beach, etc. I have a gated garden with fake grass, so easily cleaned. I am happy to have dogs with crates as have plenty of space in my living room. Both my children (12 and 8) love dogs and are always around family pets. Any dog that stays with us gets plenty of attention and affection.

About: I've been sitting and walking dogs, and I love the responsibility of caring for someone else's dog as if they were my own. I'm home all day, so your dog gets consistent company and attention rather than being left alone for long stretches — no rushed visits or clock-watching. I also have a fenced back garden with plenty of space for running around and playtime. Since the passing of Foster, my beloved old collie in August 25 I have missed being a doggy parent and have a lot of love to give to the much loved furry member of your family. “Leigha (along with her husband Jacob, daughter Rosie, and their lovely pack of hounds) took incredible care of my two Kelpies, Cúci (7 years) and Ruadh (10 months), during a 48-hour stay this week. From the moment we arrived, it was clear they were in a calm, experienced, and dog-loving home. Leigha kept me updated with thoughtful messages, videos and photos, which really reassured me, especially since Ruadh is still a pup and full of energy. Both dogs came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for - the younger one especially seemed to benefit from the social time with their dogs. They even shared some super helpful tips on behaviours they’d noticed in my rescue puppy, which I’ve already started putting into practice. Their setup - both the house and garden - is exceptional, offering plenty of space, safety, stimulation, and comfort. I only wish I lived nearby so I could use them every time I go away! About: I gained a deep love for dogs by growing up with them and learning the responsibility of pet ownership. I've loved taking care of them, learning how to train them and observing their behaviours. I'm an advocate on positive re-enforcement as a form of training, giving dogs lots of attention but also being aware when dogs need space/rest. I also love the affection and play that can come from dogs. The two dogs in my profile are Pepper (Black Spaniel) and Milo (The handsome springer) they belong to close friends and family. I help look after these two regularly overnight or for a number of days with Daily walks and regular toilet breaks. I tend to be working from home around 8am - 4pm. When looking after dogs this means I can easily pop out for bathroom breaks and I tend to spare 30mins in the day for a short walk in the park nearby. I like the company and like giving them attention between times of focus. I'm not meeting heavy so get up from my desk often. I make sure they have a comfortable save space to be in. Not too close to windows or disturbances so they can rest. Nothing is left out that they might try and chew or play with. Between periods of work I'll play and check in on them, making sure they have fresh water.

Paulina and Martin were great hosts for Woody with a fantastic garden for dogs to run around in. He appeared to have a great time and he came back from his stay healthy. They gave daily updates with photos and videos which was great to see. Woody I sure is looking forward to his next stay which we are planning now.
Jennifer was a great host for little Uzi. She made it easy to feel relaxed while away knowing he was in good hands. A lovely family who have spoilt my dog during my time away. Natalie took amazing care of Cosmo for a few days while we were away on holiday. Cosmo was excited to see her and was happy to be left there. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
