From the initial meet n greet, a few days before his stay, Freddie was warmly welcomed into the family and very quickly settled with Elizabeth. He was spoiled all weekend with woodland walks, sniffing safaris at the local park and even a trip to Loch Lomond for a dip! With lovely photos and regular updates on his stay we felt so reassured that he was in safe hands and having a great time with an experienced dog lover! “I have an extremely energetic & playful one year old Cocker Spaniel and this was the first time that l needed to place him with a boarder. Naturally l was very apprehensive but Liam took the time to meet up beforehand, to check that both he & my dog would get along. It was clear that he loves & cares for dogs therefore l was reassured that he would do his best to follow my pet's daily routine regarding exercise, feeding etc. Liam also sent us regular updates & photos which gave us complete peace of mind, allowing us to relax on our holiday knowing that Caelo was in safe hands. About: I’ve loved animals, especially dogs, for as long as I can remember. I’m not quite ready to get a dog of my own yet but I really enjoy spending time with and looking after them. I grew up with a dog, so I miss having one around! I’ve looked after lots of dogs over the years for friends and family, which I’ve always really enjoyed. My boyfriend and I have plenty of free weekends, and I’m out walking a lot anyway, which always feels a bit strange without a dog beside me. Dog sitting would be a lovely way to have some doggy company while also helping people out when they need someone to doggy sit. ☺️ I currently work full-time Monday to Friday, but I’m able to work from home quite often, which gives me some flexibility during the week. My boyfriend is also home a lot during the week, so there is usually someone around. At weekends, unless we have plans, we’re usually out enjoying a walk or having a chilled day at home. This means we have plenty of time to give a dog company, attention and plenty of walks. 😃 I live in a first floor flat with plenty of grassy areas nearby, and I’m also right beside the canal, which is a lovely, dog-friendly place for walks. The street I live on is quiet and peaceful, with lots of children and dogs around, so it’s a friendly and welcoming environment for dogs.

About: My love for dogs began when I was seven years old, when my family brought home our Miniature Schnauzer puppy, Hamish. I loved teaching him basic commands such as sit and paw, and since then my passion for dogs has continued to grow. Over the years, I have gained experience caring for dogs of different ages, temperaments and needs, including: -> Fostering dogs and helping to care for adopted rescue dogs. -> Caring for elderly dogs and dogs with additional health needs. -> Administering medication at specific times and following individual care routines. -> Supporting dogs during recovery from surgery, providing additional care, attention and monitoring. -> Caring for reactive dogs and adapting walks and routines appropriately. -> Handling and caring for up to six dogs at one time. -> Providing dog walking, drop-in visits and overnight/weekend care for family, friends and clients. -> Caring for puppies with demanding feeding, exercise and toilet-training schedules. I have also gained professional dog sitting experience, including caring for a Golden Retriever puppy with a particularly demanding daily schedule, which I successfully balanced alongside my studies at the University of Glasgow. As a Zoology student, I have a genuine passion for animals and an interest in their behaviour, welfare and individual needs. I hope to continue gaining hands on animal care experience alongside my degree, with the long term goal of pursuing a veterinary nursing apprenticeship following completion of my honours degree. As a university student, my weekday timetable varies, but I receive my schedule in advance and have plenty of flexibility to plan pet care around my classes. I am usually at university from around 10am to 3pm, or 2pm to 5pm on days when I have a lab, and I am happy to arrange walks or drop-in visits between classes where possible. My evenings and weekends are completely free, and outside of university I am very happy studying from home, meaning I can spend plenty of time keeping your dog company. I also love getting outdoors for a walk as a break from studying, and having a dog to join me is always a bonus! I’ll always make sure that I only accept bookings that fit comfortably around my timetable so that your pet gets the time, attention and care they deserve. Every dog has their own personality and routine, so I always tailor my care to suit their individual needs. When caring for a dog in their own home, I will follow their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medication, sleeping arrangements and house rules, helping them feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. I am happy to provide plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles and companionship, while also respecting dogs that need a little more space or patience. My experience with puppies, seniors, rescues and reactive dogs has taught me how important it is to adapt my approach to each individual. I will also treat your home with care and respect and provide regular photos and updates, so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in safe hands. When caring for a dog in my home, I will always try to follow their usual routine as closely as possible and adapt to their individual needs and boundaries. I live on the top floor of a tenement flat with access to a fenced garden, close to the Botanic Gardens and several smaller enclosed parks, which can be great for quieter walks or reactive dogs. There are stairs leading to my flat, which I am happy to manage slowly with dogs who need extra support, as I do with my own 14 year old dog, when he comes to visit. I don't currently have a crate, but I am happy to discuss arrangements if your dog is crate trained. Any specific routines, mobility needs or preferences can always be discussed before their stay.

“Jacques was truly amazing. From first contact, he was so responsive and friendly. He looked after our 1 year old slightly timid lab in his lovely home. She had a fantastic time with lots of walks and playtime. It was clear just how much Jacques loves dogs and wants to ensure they are cared for, properly exercised and stimulated. He has a lovely soft Alsatian who I think our dog became quite close to. Frequent updates with photos and videos. Our family was so reassured during our 2 week holiday. About: I love being around animals. Had a cat growing up but always wanted a dog. Now that I am working remotely I was able to fulfil my dream and have a small poodle myself. I know how much time and care is needed to look after an animal. Dogs and cats alike. I am currently working remotely. I am flexible and can set my schedule around the needs of your best friend. I can go for a short drop-in visit to make sure they are ok and provide a quick walk or have the time for longer walks. I live in an apartment with my partner. As I have a small dog myself it is tidy and dog proof. I have a fenced in garden and Kelvingrove park is about two minutes away. There are plenty of walks close by to discover. During Drop in visits I am respecting the pet owners home. I will keep it clean and organised. I have experience with separation anxiety in dogs. Your dog will not be left alone when staying with me. During their stay I will keep you updated with pictures.

Aashish provided updates throughout Noodles’ stay with them and could see how at home Noodles felt with them. Taking Noodles home he was calm and happy. Could tell he had a great time! About: After sharing four wonderful years with my rescue Greyhound, Ryan, I sadly had to say goodbye to him in May 2026. He was a huge part of my life and is deeply missed. Like many dog owners, I truly believe dogs are family, and Ryan was always included in everything—from relaxing at home to trips to dog-friendly cafés, pubs, and adventures further afield. Living with a rescue Greyhound gave me first-hand experience of the unique personalities and needs of sighthounds. From understanding their gentle, sensitive nature to their love of a good sprint followed by hours of sofa time, I know how important it is to provide them with a calm, safe, and loving environment. I also spent a lot of time training Ryan and regularly attended neutrality classes with his walker and trainer at Tartan Pets, which helped me develop a strong understanding of dog behaviour and positive handling techniques. Alongside caring for Ryan, I’ve looked after the dogs of family, friends, and neighbours, providing walks, drop-in visits, and overnight stays for a variety of breeds and personalities. I understand that leaving your dog with someone else requires trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog is a Greyhound, Whippet, Lurcher, or any other breed, they’ll be treated as one of the family. I’ll give them the same love, patience, attention, and care that I gave Ryan, so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in safe and caring hands! My work schedule offers plenty of flexibility, with my week split between working from home and my local office. Before accepting any booking, I make sure my diary is arranged so your pet has the time, attention, and companionship they deserve. Their care and wellbeing will always be my priority while they’re with me. At weekends, I’m usually out enjoying local parks, relaxing at home, or visiting dog-friendly cafés, pubs, and restaurants, so if your dog enjoys getting out and about, they’ll have plenty of opportunities for walks, fresh air, and quality time together. Whether they prefer an active adventure or a quiet day relaxing, I’ll tailor their routine to suit their needs. Your dog’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I live in a spacious two-bedroom flat on the third floor (please note there is no lift), providing a calm and relaxed environment where dogs can settle in and feel at home. Outside, there’s a large, fully fenced and gated back court for toilet breaks, and we’re just a short walk from several spacious parks and the River Clyde, offering plenty of opportunities for safe, enjoyable walks and enrichment.
